I've never considered consignment before, but it is ridiculous how many things I've accumulated over the years, bags, shoes, clothes, and so many things that even still have tags and/or I've never worn. My cousin suggested we check out Designs 2 Consign. Designs 2 Consign is a new consignment store that has been open for three months. I usually sell at consignment stores and never buy, until today! The clothes in the store were very high end and in excellent condition. Unlike other stores, it was very clean and none of the clothes had a single speck of dust or musty smell. There was a cute Louis Vuitton purse for over $800 that had never been used. I ended up purchasing a Halogen 100% cashmere sweater for under $35. The owner, Lisa, has an excellent eye for curating designer clothing in pristine condition. I would totally shop here all the time if I lived closer. read more

Very helpful and accomodating. I came in looking for a hard case for my wife's sunglasses. The sales associate said they normally only have glasses with cases but did offer a surprising option. There were some orphaned cases and she allowed me to choose for no cost. A pleasant surprise! Overall the shop looked well stocked, clean and lots of variety for the ladies. Went in today to buy a dress for my post-partum body which lately has been a depressing exercise. I left the store with 4 dresses, 2 jackets, 3 blouses, a pair of heels and a sparkly clutch. This gem of a store has an incredibly well-curated collection, at great prices, lots of good deals, clean and comfortable fitting rooms, and above all the lovely store manager Kalyn who was a ray of sunshine. From the minute I walked in, she made the whole experience a delight, recommended outfits, gave me honest feedback when I tried things on, and was efficient, warm, helpful and positive. It appears that Yelp pulled my prior review down..no explanation. My first name and last name initial are the same as Lisa, who is the shop owner, but it was clear from my post that I'm both a consigner and a customer. I have been consigning and shopping here since Lisa opened. The inventory is great. Lisa and her team know their stuff, and there are always gems on the racks/shelves. I bought the outfit I was married in, as well as one for an anniversary event here. I received a ton of compliments on both! We're lucky to have such a cool place in our small town. Hands down my favorite place to shop - to the point where I just don't shop anywhere else now. After making a commitment to only buying 2nd hand clothes, Designs 2 Consign has been ideal in every way. Lisa, the owner, curates her clothes with such taste such that I and my friends can always find things we love, in excellent condition and in every size. Lisa makes for a wonderful shopping experience by making it fun and relaxed - she even held a super fun birthday shopping experience for me and a friend - shopping and champagne - what's not to love about that?! Lisa also has a keen sense for what you'll like and will look good on you, so she'll bring you things to try on while you're there - I always end up liking her selections better than mine. Now that I'm a regular customer, she writes to let me know when things have come in that she knows I'll like. So it's kind of like getting a personal shopper for free. For someone who doesn't like shopping that much, this store makes shopping fun and productive. Do yourself a favor and stop by! read more

Wow! Just wow! I am currently sitting in my car, outside her shop, about to be late to work because I really want to write this review. This was my first time here and it was AWESOME. I have been to many consignment stores and usually love them but I've never been to a high quality one that also seemed good. This place is super nice and the owner, Lisa, is very kind. I am a bit mad at myself for buying something because I need to save money, but I'm also very happy I bought a pair of Levi's. This place has really nice stuff for amazing prices. The store has a really good variety of clothing/accessories and it's clear that the store is well curated. I met a very friendly employee, Kaylin when I discovered this store in Moraga. We discussed the current fashion trends and what would most likely be accepted for consignment. So the day before my appointment I called to inquire about a specific type of garment and I spoke to the owner, Lisa Karp. Right off the bat she told me that she doesn't accept clothes from Target in addition to items that are not needed at this time. Did she detect that I'm a black woman and assume that's where I shop for my clothes or does she start all consignment rules that way. Even when I told her that I have garments from Talbot she stated very little interest in that brand as well. We ended up agreeing to my sending her a list of my clothing labels via email to see if she'd be interested. But I'll pass because I don't have to dig down low to do business with anyone. read more

Run don't walk to Designs 2 Consigns in Moraga! My daughter and I were excited to check out this new addition to the Rheem Center, and were VERY impressed with all this shop has to offer! Something for every occasion - formal, casual, workout, shoes, purses and accessories...All in perfect condition and very reasonably priced. We left with a pair of fabulous Italian leather boots, purse, belt, sweater - and with new items coming everyday, we'll be back to shop often.
