He also had a somewhat curt, unfriendly demeanor. Brainstormer was probably the best a decade ago, but something seems to have gone wrong with them along the way. Whoever's in charge of events should consider switching to Head Games, Geeks Who Drink, Live Event, or Pub Trivia Nerds.

There was plenty of room on the street, and I also liked how there were so many other areas and screens inside the market and also in their patio, so you're not just limited to the street outside. Really cool that you can get drinks to go and enjoy them outside. The flow can be a bit confusing though, there's certain sidewalks and ramps you need to take to get to certain restaurants and buildings. You also can't take outside food into the Market itself (including drinks). Will definitely try to go back for more games before this ends for good!

Iconic Landmark in San Francisco!…read more I have been to the Ferry Building Marketplace many times and it's one of my favorite place in SF with some of the amazing restaurants, shops and bakery within or near the Ferry Building. To name a few, Parachute Bakery has some of the best pastries. Lunette with savory Cambodian rice and noodles dishes. Hog Island Oyster Company is the best place to grab a bite to eat like Fish & chips and the oysters never disappoint! Mariposa Baking company is another awesome pastry shop. There's always something going on and to do at the Ferry Building. Free Yoga classes, Farmer's Market, Mahjong Meetup, Artist vendors, Music on the Plaza, and etc. You can even sit alone on the bench and stare at the beautiful view of the Bay Bridge.

They are in process of resto-modding it into a new food hall and market which I'm sure will be a huge hit when complete. The original signage was discovered in the building and is now back on the tower outside. Love how they are preserving as much as they can respectfully while upgrading necessarily to modernize. The design work is by Architect Kelly + Morgan and even though it's currently still WIP you can visit and have a peek before it starts getting crazy busy once its complete. Worth a fast 5-10 minute stop if you are into architecture.
