I called 253-583-5900, to give a second chance after I had rented a truck almost four years ago, but never gotten my deposit back, yet the guys were great at another location, so I didn't even pursue it. I just forgot about it. So I had called today, to ask to cancel a reservation. I used my automatic dialer to call. Well, I should have looked better...Yet, it doesn't matter... I wanted to cancel a one-way truck reservation, and may have called a car rental from Budget. The whole conversation lasted less than 30 seconds and the actions of the guy talking to me over the phone were extremely questionable. This one is on 74th... in Lakewood, WA. I called to cancel, because Penske had given me the best deal ever, beating U-Haul and Budget. What came across from the guy was so rude. I told him I wanted to cancel, and he pretended that it was cancelled, not even asking for my name, then he hung up. That is so rude, he could have said, you have the wrong number and told me rather to call the toll-free number. Thanks. That was just an insult. So I called the toll free number of Budget and checked if my reservation was cancelled. I doubted it anyway. It wasn't cancelled! Imagine, I'd would've been charged fifty dollars for not showing up, because this guy with an accent (I speak three languages myself), The me he had cancelled it for me! Thanks for your lying customer service. I will never rent from Budget again, I did it once and it will stay that way! I've been all over the world and usually rented cars from Enterprise flawlessly for the past 14 years and did use Uhaul too! I rather go with them and with Penske, then Uhaul. The reason I went with Uhaul was the great customer service they had given me. Penske though beat it first and foremost for the truck rental. These people at this place need to learn not to lie to people when they call in on the phone and get some training in customer service! Run far away from this business! I'm beyond disappointed.

I didn't and was charged for more fuel than I even came close to using. I failed to document so can't prove it. I distinctly remember thinking, great I'm starting with little less than 1/4 tank. Their records indicated about 1/2 tank, which was wrong but they wouldn't budge. Other than that, I recommend provided you read the fuel agreement and document everything.

We went here to return our U-haul on our move here from Las Vegas/Reno. We were maybe 5 minutes…read moreearly to return the truck, and Tony came out to help us. We were kind of disoriented at that time due to the stress of moving and completely spaced on putting gas in the truck. He saw that the meter was half full and asked us if we wanted to just refill the tank at the Arco's near by. He didn't mind if we were a little late on our time and he wasn't helping out other people.That was so nice and understanding of him! Everything he would say "I will get it to you today" but he never did. After two months, he no longer answer my phone or reply to my text. And we still don't have the receipt. ZERO stars. STAY AWAY!! Dig it by hand if you have to!!…read more I Rented a bobcat from here and these criminals decided to steal my credit card info and use it at Walmart and other places. Walmart of all places!!! If you're gonna steal my info at least use it for something awesome. I know for fact it was them because it was the first and only time I used this specific credit card. After finding out my info was stolen I get a call from a random number who told me his car was stolen and my credit card information along with the information of 10-15 others was inside the vehicle when police found it. I contacted the other people on the paper and imagine that, everyone of those people had rented a bobcat from this place. Was told detectives were following up on all the recovered info, but financial crimes like these get limited investigative investment. Apparently the dude that was caught in the stolen car had worked at bobcat or had connections there. This place should be out of business and they should all be locked behind bars.

Be very careful to review the final charges if you rent from this Budget location. I was…read moreincorrectly charged for refueling, and even when I provided documentation that the truck was returned refueled, they still refused to fully correct the bill. I was quoted an estimated total of $43.07 for a local truck rental, but after returning the truck I was charged $93.34. The charge included 24 miles and 2 gallons of gas, despite only driving 22 miles and returning the truck fueled above the full marker. When I presented my drop-off photos and fuel transaction, instead of simply correcting the bill, they offered a partial correction. They refused to remove the 2-gallon fuel charge and acted like they were doing me a favor only partially overcharging me. If you rent here document everything and do not assume that they will correct the bill willingly.
