I have been a customer of Midland Self-Storage for several months, trusting this establishment with my valuable items. However, my experience with them has been nothing short of horrendous. I have had my unit broken into, my belongings stolen, and to add insult to injury, I received no compensation or assistance from Midland Self-Storage. One of the most distressing aspects of my experience with Midland Self-Storage is the presence of junkies on the property. It is clear that the management is not doing enough to maintain a safe and secure environment. This lack of attention to the well-being of their customers has led to a situation where drug users feel comfortable setting up camp on the property. As a result of this negligence, my storage unit was broken into and my possessions were stolen. I had entrusted Midland Self-Storage with my valuable items, and they failed to provide the security and protection that I had paid for and expected. Midland Self-Storage is not only negligent in their duty to provide a safe environment, but they are also overpriced. Despite the high cost of their units, they do not invest in better security measures to protect their customers' belongings. This lack of investment in security is unacceptable, especially when considering the constant price increases that they impose on their customers. It is clear that they are more interested in profiting from their customers than ensuring their satisfaction and safety. I strongly urge potential customers to avoid Midland Self-Storage and seek out alternative storage providers. Luckily, I found a new storage company that is genuinely committed to providing high-end security and maintaining a safe and drug-free environment. read more

I honestly wish I could give less than one star. As an active duty soldier, I fight for freedoms daily, and I cannot abide the strong use of racials skurs that I have encountered in this company. I am currently deployed overseas, and before I left I used Midland Self Storage in Tacoma to store my belongings. I was at the office preparing to store my items, when I overheard the store manager, Natalie, say "n****r" to another person over the phone. At first I believed it was possible that I misheard her, but she continued to speak racial slurs, and then escalated, threatening the person she was speaking of physically. She has also referred to me, personally, in this manner. If I wasn't in such a hurry to clear my post and leave overseas, I would have changed storage units. While I am overseas I am looking into ways to move my belongings. I do not support this company if they hire someone so hateful and unprofessional. I have never seen someone act this way without remorse or apology in my life. Natalie, the store manager at Midland Self Storage will not only be losing my business, but paints a horrible face on this entire company. read more

REALLY ? A nice Self Storage Place in Tacoma???? Yes!!!! No joke this place is actual great! I never write reviews but after the way I was treated here: I'll send my family and friends here whenever they need storage. The manager Russell was awesome and very nice ask for him! The facility is very clean ,safe and the people that work there are very professional, not what you'd expect in self storage, lol. This place is a hidden gem of storage units in Tacoma. If your looking for long term or short term storage call them, Its a new facility and not many people know about it yet. I was needing a storage unit asap and I drove by Franklin Pierce High School and there was a brand new storage place right there. This place was nice nothing like the cruddy Mom and Pop places that you see around the area. I went in and Russell the manager was awesome he helped be find a great unit within my budget ( he had a special...ask him!) They even have U haul trucks! I promised to write a review because he was really helpful and super nice. If you need a place to store this is the place: clean , friendly and super safe. I am very disappointed with the fact if your late it more than the 8.00 for late charges after the 5th then 25.00 the whole month right. But when you look at your bill and the have tacked on 51.00 for late fees and 58.00 for pre lien charge which was never charged as long as I have been renting a storage and I have been twice months behind before yet never have I seen these charges until the last three payments I've made. Please think twice or at least go over your contract again before you pay the bill. Okay but the customer service is perfect live the manager. read more

As a soldier who just got to Wa I needed a storage unit like time now. Called this store and Natalie was very kind and gave me a lot of info on the phone. Decided to stop by and I was not dissapointed. Facility is very clean and Natalie explained everything to the T .She understood my struggle since she is a spouse herself, which I found out during our conversation .Move in process was a breeze and even got a military discount. If your looking for self storage in the Tacoma this is the place!!! no Joke! I'm new to the area (from Florida...go Gators, lol ). I looked around at the other places and this place is super professional, clean and has outstanding customer service! While searching for a summer storage space for my freshman son at Pacific Lutheran University, I chose Midland from the recommendations on the unversity's website. Midlland was friendly, efficient and very afforable. No high pressure sales tactics. And the space was inside, easy to access whenever we needed - which turned out to be three trips before heading back to California. . Russel the manager was great, helping me over the phone to set up the account and calling me as the move out date got closer. I highly recommend this storage facility. . read more

New in town and I got all my storage and moving done in 1 stop!!! Not only did I get a great rate off my move in but the manager Russell also gave me $5 off my next months rent just for writing a review of the place. Every little bit helps. The place is newer its very clean, lots of security and the staff is super helpful. As I told the manager I'm going to recommend to my friend...cuz they give $25 referral credit off your rent, haha. Just rented a 10x10 unit from Midland Self Storage. I'm off to Korea for deployment and these guys helped me with everything! I've never encountered anything but the friendliest of staff, always doing all they can to make sure customers are taken care of! They've got all the latest amenities, offer a truck, and all the boxes and packing supplies you need. If they don't have something you need for retail, they can order it too! Great place! I have stored my things here for 9 months and no issues at all. The guys that run the place are very nice. The place is the cleanest and most professional in the area BY FAR!
