We were looking for a party bus type of atmosphere with a more elegant ride and I have to say Exclusive Limousines was the perfect fit. To start out they were extremely punctual and actually showed up a half our early (or more). The driver, James, was very cordial and engaging yet at other times we forgot he was there. He played it perfectly all while making sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our excursion. In fact, at one point one of our friends made quite a mess of things and surprisingly enough James was unfazed by the chaos/mess and took matters into his own hands to make sure the fun continued. The van itself was practically brand new, clean, and well-kept. As for the size there were only 10 of us but there was more than enough space for the 15-person limit would be just fine. I would highly recommended Exclusive Limousines if you're looking for a fun/party like atmosphere as they truly made it an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be rebooking if we find ourselves in the Area again. Five Stars *****

My auto dealership no longer provides rental cars due to some taking advantage of that service by trashing and total'ing the cars. Gee, thanks Hyundai customers. So here we are getting back to the car rental place they referred. Ok, getting a car and picking it up was a breeze. It helps to have all your info in order and an established relationship with this shop. Or so I thought. Ok, so since my car issues were covered by warranty so was my car rental fees. Love Hyundai's warranty. So that means I had to return the rental car since the dealership got my car fixed right away. So I'm on the freeway about 15minutes away from their shop and I know I'm cutting it close so I decide to call them to give them a heads up. The guy who answered was like, "Well we close at 5." Me: "I know this, that's why I'm calling. I drove over an hour to get here and I'm getting off the exit right now and I'm basically right around the corner." You know what he asks me? This guy says, "Ok well can you pull over and read me the card info?" Me all dumbfounded and shocked. "Well if you want me to pull over and do all that, you might as well wait me for so it would be easier to just swipe my card." Duh, right? He acquiesced. So since the auto dealership is going to pay for everything, I'm going to get a credit. I have to cover the taxes and some fees, but the dealership will cover the daily rental fee. This guy, not the manager, seemed all pushed out of shape. On a Tuesday? Really? I got my credit, but I was not happy on the inital suggesstion that I pull over off the freeway to give him my card info over the phone. Not concerned at all for my safety, all about money, money, and let's speed this up so I can end my shift type of vibe. I think this guy's customer service skills needs a refreshing and ya'll need to do better for a paying customer with excellent pay history. I'm just saying. See you some more on Yelp 2026, but at this place...I don't know, I just don't know. Time to share....Go.

I was practicing my flying skills and decided to go eat there with a friend (who also happened to be my instructor). We landed on a well maintained runway and taxied over to the public parking area. When we got out of the plane, we were only a 2 minute walk from the café there. The café was a really neat place for those of us who love aviation. There are plenty of plane models, pictures and art work to keep the mind occupied while awaiting food. I ordered basic diner fare (chicken fingers) and my friend got a cheeseburger. The food was great and a fair price. Service was great and I could tell it was a local place filled with local people. Free advice: Look for those places and you won't be disappointed. After lunch, we strolled 2 minutes back out to the tarmac, jumped in the plane, and off we went. I was really happy and impressed with Porterville Airport, and I think I'll drop by there again next time I'm out flying around the valley enjoying the day. All the above being said, it was clear to me that the restaurant is a hidden jewel. We were the only plane parked outside, so I'm sure the majority of the folks eating there were not flying. I want to encourage you to stop in, since it can also be reached by driving your car there. Next time you are in Porterville, give the regular fast food a rest and try something better. Go to the airport and have a fun and yummy meal at a place packed with aviation and local history.

I had occasion to deal with both of them and feel they were all very concerned with the care and quality of the park. On the positive side the store was well stocked, the club house was great, and the swimming pool was especially useful during the heat wave. Most of the sites were comfortably sized and utilities more than adequate. On the negative side, there are a few sites that weren't level and for the first time in 40 years I was unable to level my 5th wheel. To resolve, they moved us to a different site. I also contracted a stomach bug. Process of elimination led to either a problem with potable water at the park or a poorly rinsed salad from a nearby "Texas Longhorn" restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Cost about $138 a night. Good Sam annual membership cost $39, but you got 10% off your booking. Paid $10 for their fire pit, which looked like a repurposed laundry drum. They charge 3% for credit card usage. They also charge $5 for every additional person after 4 people per day. Was assigned one site during booking, but reassigned to another site upon arrival. They said the sites are subject to change. Didn't like that the site we were assigned to was much smaller than our original site. The park was very clean. The restroom with toilet stalls and showers were very clean and well maintained. Liked that the restrooms required a code to enter. They had a dog park that was opened 24 hours and a pool that opened from 9am to 8pm. Was unable to use the pool due to their short hours, but it appeared clean. Park can be noisy since it was off the busy street.
