She waited till her college dance competition season had closed out. I accompanied her and she threw in a treat for me as her driver. I got a shiny new tragus piercing with a teeny shimmery stone. I was too excited. The receptionist comforted us. We had the jitters even though we are both pretty heavily pierced and tattooed. The piercer was calm and assesses each person individually and works to achieve their desired look. Mike Moore was absolutely amazing with everything... he put my daughter at ease, talked her through every single step (I was allowed in the room with her during the piercing) and in general made this an exciting, memorable event. Somehow Ben and Al, who greeted us and helped us prior to our appt, were able to manage all of us and communicate along the way. They were awesome and their teamwork and service was top tier. They also both hyped me up about my stud and totally unprompted. My only regret is not booking another appt simultaneously when it was open LOL! Ben is by far the best piercer I've ever had. He also saved my sister fees by piercing her ear with a dull needle so she only had to pay for the jewelry. Overall I would recommend them to anyone! Worth the price and the wait. Looking forward to another appt when I'm in town again! Also very sterile vibes and Ben took time between appts to sterilize and change gloves even though I was with my sister.

You're probably not going to get a walk in tattoo done here, but walk in to talk to or consult with an artist ahead of time to be sure. The shop itself is in a good location with a decent amount of parking, and inside it is inspiring. There are lots of plants and beautiful art. It is body-positive and woman-positive with more than one woman tattoo artist in residence. The tattoo work areas are separated with short walls and actual doors so privacy is controlled. It also allows each artist to have her own space full of the energy she wants. This part of the shop's design really adds to the experience of being worked on there. It allows the creative energy to bubble around without feeling intrusive or exposed while being worked on. It can also shift during a session - door open or closed. I have two fairly large, artist-original pieces done by Autum McCallister (Lethal Lady). Her work is magical! You can find it on Instagram or Facebook, or stop in to see her. She also does commission pieces (your design). Autum's eye for color, shape, and layout makes for truly gorgeous body art. When I have requested (small) changes to a design, she is thoughtful and takes her time to work through what will work well with the piece and fits with what I like. She'll also make some changes as she works and sees the piece come to life on your body. To top it off, she has a great sense of humor, and we have fun conversations with a lot of laughter. Though I haven't worked with any other artists at this shop, I have listened to them work and seen some of it. Stop in with your idea, and whoever you talk to will either be a good choice or tell you who the right person for your piece would be.
