I had high expectations based on the reviews others have left, but it's a NO for me. My nail artist at my usual salon was all booked up, and I needed my nails done so I decided to try a salon closer to where I live, and this one had a high Yelp rating, so I booked. My appointment clearly stated I wanted nail art, and as with all of my appointments, I brought photos of possible designs. My usual nail artist does my natural nails with builder. This helps strengthen my nails and assures that the manicure lasts longer than one without would. The person who did my nails at Devana took the builder off (saying she had to, but that it would be replaced during the manicure). What she used just seemed like a thick coat of clear polish, not builder. She also had me soaking my fingers for an extraordinarily long time to get the builder off, which is not how I've ever seen this done. I was an hour in before the manicure could even start. Now, after showing her examples of possible nail art, she brings over a pack of stickers. What?! I asked for nail art, not stickers on top of the polish, and the design I was asking for wasn't even complex. At this point, I was just over it, and wanted to leave, so I chose something, let her finish up, and walked to the register. She rings it up and it's $95. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This was basically a plain manicure with a sticker on top. My usual nail artist doesn't even charge this much. She asked me to sign up for their loyalty program, which I did, but now, a week and a half later, the polish on one of my nails has lifted and cracked and looks ridiculous. Conveniently, their policy to fix any cracked polish only lasts a week. I will not be back to Devana Beauty Bar, and learned a valuable lesson. I booked my nail appointments through the rest of 2022 with someone who can actually accomplish simple nail art. read more

My BFF and I haven't seen each other hardly at all for a year now and wanted to do something extra special together. We made a bee line for Devana Beauty Bar to spend some much needed lady time and get our toes ready for summer! The first question we were are asked is, "Do you want a massage?" The answer is "yes please!!!!!!" They have fabulous massage chairs to sit in while your feet are bathing in lovely warm water! My friend picked the color and we got matching toes! We received amazing pedicures from Roberto and Veronica! Appointments fill up fast at this hip family owned spa so book in advance online! We can't wait to come back soon! read more

if you are looking for quality this is not the place . Too expensive for the poor quality service and products Employees have an overall air of laziness, like they are dragging themselves. Best chrome gel x set I've had. I told her I'm rough with my nails and she made them indestructible. The chrome price is a little steep but it's worth it for the quality. Vibe was chill and laid back plus I was introduced to a new genre of music out of Mexico that slaps. Hours are great if you want to get a fresh set after work on a week day which is hard to find. read more

It took me a couple days to decide if I want to make this review or not. I'm from Sac and went to LA on a trip with my fiancée. I really wanted to get my nails done for the trip, but didn't get a chance to, so I got them done in LA at this salon on the 16th. We just got back from LA on the 17th. My artist was Martha I believe, and she was very sweet and nice. She did a russian manicure and Gel X nails. I didn't ask for the russian manicure, she just does them normally, which I thought was very nice. The nails turned out pretty good and I do like them, but I think that if you're going to do that type of manicure, you need to be certified for it. Each of my fingers have scars by my cuticles because she cut too deep. It hurt pretty bad during my manicure and I thought maybe it's because i've never had it done, but after doing some research, I know that it shouldn't have been cut that deep. It hurt even more when alcohol was constantly being sprayed on my open wounds. Again, I'm conflicted because I really liked her and it was a decent experience, but as for getting a russian manicure for the first time, I wish i had a better one. I searched around 40+ nail bars to get the perfect nails for my trip to Hawaii and found this place through a tik tok I got sent. I booked an appt and once I arrived I was welcomed by the pedicurist he was nice, respectful, very professional and super attentive with the details. Although I went for a simple white pedicure I must say he took the time to perfect the shape and applying the perfect amount of product to not make it look chunky like other gel sets I've gotten ‍. After I moved on for my gel x nail set the girly who attended me was super friendly in no moment did I feel awkward. I actually felt super comfortable she always kept checking if I was okay with shape, color, if I was hurting or okay just super attentive as well . I highly recommend this place I didn't take pics at the salon because I was so entertained with music and conversations . Also prices are reasonable. read more

I came in for a pedicure today and it was a very pleasant experience I called ahead to make sure they had availability and the person on the phone was very helpful she told me to come in and they would be able to take me. When I arrived I was greeted with water my chair was ready and the nail tech was very detailed with her job. She was very professional and attentive. The ambiance of the place is very pleasant and welcoming they play good music as well!! And let's not forget the place is super clean. I love the way Nicki took her time with my pedicure, she did a great job and left the shape of my toes nice and squared how I like them. I gave 4 out of 5 because it is a bit pricey. I paid $60 for gel pedi. read more

This was my 2 girls second experience getting a Mani - Pedi, and they loved it! Their first experience was at another place and they were "ok" with the service, however this time they can't stop talking about this place , and they are just 5 & 7 yrs old. They keep saying how they want to come back only here from now on. A lot of it I know has to do with the great customer service Veronica and Amber gave , they made my girls feel comfortable. Thank you. I went through so many Yelp reviews til I decided for Top Nails, and it was an excellent choice. No regrets. I never would have seen this place just walking, it's hidden in the corner! I'm so glad I checked Yelp! the inside of the place is so elegant and clean. In the time I was there, I saw the staff clean up / sanitize equipment after every client. I feel important to mention this because I know that's one of the important things I was looking for while searching for a new nail salon. You do need to make an appointment with a deposit. Parking is available, but if packed their is plenty of street parking. They take card and cash. The pricing is not bad in my opinion. And honestly I don't mind paying a little extra as long as the service is worth it. The owner is a LIAR. Just be honest because your story sounds ridiculous. Learn how to take accountability! 1. First of all I'm in disbelief of the lies the owner is telling. My daughter was taking graduation photos so why would she have dirty cuticles. 2. Why would I yell and ask about a price. Be honest here. Your lady was running water for a full pedicure. Be serious. I was making sure that you knew it was for a color change. You can't possibly sleep at night lying and making things up. 3. Your customer never once told me to go somewhere else. You never hear customers telling other customers to go some where else. Flat out made up lie!! Your customer was complimenting my daughter on her achievements and sharing her daughter's and her son's achievements as well. Also, the lady wasn't even close to you to hear our conversation about her telling me what she pays for a color change. In my opinion, you practice not taking accountability at all because you're trying to protect your reputation, but how do you intend on improving in areas when your response is to lie immediately. 4. We didn't have a problem! You got paid, am I right, and I thought it was pricey! I can voice that. If you felt that my daughter's cuticles were dirty WHICH THEY WEREN'T, why didn't you refuse the service if you couldn't produce good work and if the yelling was done? You could have refused service, but there wasn't any yelling and that's why service was provided. If you're going to lie make it make sense! 5. Lastly... You witnessed your boyfriend agree with me in the store and say that he understood where I was coming from after we spoke. Unfortunately, you are unable to do the same. Leaving now and won't be back yes my nails look good but I definitely feel she over charged. 44 $ fill with gel polish was 59$ that's basically 60 dollars. Even with having one broken nail that makes no sense. And when I asked for a break down she said my nails are considered medium short. These are literally the shortest nails I've even had on my hands so no NOt true. No matter if I have the money or not to over charge and take advantage is not cool at all. No design, nothing , yes she was pleasant and all hand some laughs but if this it what a 60$ fill gets me I'll pass. I hate all the inflated prices. And last I already had the almond shape ... but she said because the custom shape INSANE ... she literally had to shape one nail the broken one. read more

This place is great. I made my appointment online prior, they texted me the morning and asked if they could reschedule for later which I appreciated. Rashree did my nails, they are so pretty and just perfect, she threaded my brows as well and did and amazing job. She took her time and was very meticulous. Robert did my feet and it's by far the pretties gel pedi I've ever received. He was so gentle and paid close attention to detail . He did not cut me at all, I barely felt anything. And I received champagne. It is a little more expensive than I'm used to but, the quality of work is worth it. I will definitely be returning . read more

Came in with a desperate need for a pedicure plus toe pain from an ingrown nail and left happy and pain free. Cute little salon, with a relaxed atmosphere, good music playing and was offered a glass of champagne. Robert was the best... my pedicure looked great and I braced myself for the pain of fixing my ingrown toenail and barely felt a thing. Will most definitely return. read more

I originally came here because I had a gift card, but it's honestly one of my favorite places. It's a small place with only a few workers, but scheduling an appointment is so easy through the website. I will start by saying the girl who did my nails came highly recommended per online review. Rashree. Very sweet. To the point where I almost feel bad for this review. Took me right away (I was running about 5 min late). Cute space. Not packed, but However. Her lack of experience was very quickly apparent. This salon doesn't do SNS, which is my usual. So I agreed to the structured gel process. Problem #1: She didn't know how to remove the sns. And she was very frustrated and kept repeating how it never does this and she doesn't know what was used and kept telling me, no more sns! Lol. I tried to explain to her how they're usually removed but she told me this process that she was doing usually works. Since I'm not the expert, I let her work. Problem #2: I have long, strong, HEALTHY nails. Or should I say HAD. She cut my nails and then roughly filed my nails to the point where they were paper thin. This process also took WELL over an hour. I was HORRIFIED. I asked her if the gel would prevent them from breaking and she said it would. So I said ok. And again, as the expert, let her do her thing. Problem #3: She wasn't super skilled at creating the design I requested, so I settled for something simpler. It was pretty, I was fine. After sitting there for over three hours, I was ready to go. Went to settle my bill. Aaaaaand... Problem #4: Not only did she charge me for removal of the SNS, she charged me $10 EXTRA because of her inexperience. Because it took her so long, because she didn't listen to me, I was charged extra. What in the world?!! I'm not from the area and didn't want to cause a scene, plus my nails were cute enough, so I sucked it up and paid the $95 tab, plus tip. I tipped her because I felt sorry for her (again...SO SWEET) and I appreciated the last minute appointment. Within 24 hours, the first nail cracked. Now, four days later, the second nail cracked. So I basically paid this girl over $100 to completely destroy my beautiful nails. I am DEVASTATED. And if I'd had more time, I would have gone back and caused the scene that I should've caused to begin with for absolutely inexperienced and subpar work. That's what I get for needing a last-minute appointment and booking someone with high reviews. Best part of the place was the two glasses of sparkling wine I stress-guzzled. Smh. Save yourselves and go elsewhere. read more

Great Mani Pedi experience. First time here and I plan on going back. I had a mani pedi a couple of weeks ago at another salon that was not a good experience... so I decided to check this place out. I was not disappointed! I set up an online appointment with Rob. He was easy going and cool to talk to. As far as his work ..he was neat and paid attention to detail. Pedicure came out slick and clean. So huge difference from the other place! Prices are slightly higher but what you are getting here is quality of work that you see right away and wonderful service. Rob Is my guy! I've seen him twice now, and this last time I had a painful ingrown. I'd already seen a podiatrist who'd cut into my toe nail, but it didn't alleviate the pain. Turns out the doctor didn't cut deep enough to get the ingrown out because it was deeper than the doctor assessed. By the time I got to the salon, it was impossible to walk in closed-toe shoes. I'd been in pain for WEEKS. Topnails is about 20 miles away from me, and it was totally worth the drive. Rob eradicated that ingrown and made my Flinstone feet look goodt! No more pain!!! Lol it's a professional, but chill, friendly environment with dope vibes and music. Btw, yes it was a painful process, but I am SO grateful I found Rob and Topnails. With so many options near USC, I find it a very poor business practice to turn business away. (This spa website does say WALK INS WELCOME) I have never been to a salon where walk ins weren't encouraged to stay during busy hours. My daughter and I were turned away because we didn't have an appointment. Mind you, all pedi chairs were empty. Most mani stations were empty as well. I was left to believe that nail techs only come in for appointments. Either way, we left (since we weren't welcome) we ended up going to GLAMOUR nails just a few blocks away. They were busier than this place but they sat us right away. Staff was super friendly. They were happy to have my business and I am now their loyal customer! I'd rather go to a salon that treats customers with appreciation and kindness than one that thinks they're above accommodating potential new customers. read more

Walk ins welcome. Waited about 20 mins- on a Saturday, seems like their capacity is 5 people at a time. Parking lot is small and full, would recommend parking on a residential side street. Veronica was great! I asked for pointy nails and she gave me an almond shape I like a lot. Did it fast, clean and cute. Manicure is $18 which is a bit pricier than I'm used to. But it's a nice place that's clean and with friendly staff. read more

My friend recommended me this nail salon and I i see why! The salon itself is beautiful and feels luxurious when you come in. I love that they offer beer and champagne. They really go above and beyond to keep you happy. The young ladyy that did my nails took her time and all in all, did fantastic! She really took her time with them, 4 hours to be exact. My regret is not being able to tip her more, but that's because I didn't realize I was paying $168 in total. I wanna say, I didn't like that I HAD to get a pedicure if I wanted my toes painted to match. It obviously costed more money. This was the most expensive mani pedi I've ever had, but I'm happy with results overall. read more

Greta's salon! Super clean! Efficient and did a great job on my nails! My nails were a disaster when I walked in and didn't know the type of manicure my previous manicurist did for me. She was able to consult me properly and take care of my nails! She's quick and deliberate and does a very thorough job! Will be back for sure! read more

When Covid happened (but cases had lowered) she let me come by her house and get my brows threaded!! Now, she's closer to my house at a different shop. She knows the shape to my brows, never threads more or less. She leaves them just right. After being left with nearly no eyebrows and traumatized, when I used to wax them back in HS I don't think I can trust my brows to anyone else but her. Point to my story/ review is-- Tannu is worth the chase! Her hands are magic, she's super friendly, and her prices are reasonable! Thanks Tannu !

It was a bit stuffy when I first came in, but they put on the air conditioning and that helped. I put some rose water on my brows and face afterward, which was nice because a lot of places only have aloe. They don't have a rosewater which is something I enjoy. I have the lady by the name of Malti. She was polite. They also sell different eyebrow products, although I did not pick up anything; so I can't speak to that. I did not use the restroom so I cannot comment on that either. If you are in the area, I would recommend coming here. Plus, it's very close to target if you need to shop and it is right next-door to a coffee bean if you want to enjoy as a delicious treat at the same time.
