It's so nice and refreshing, especially for a summer's day! The service is so fast. I ordered my drink and it didn't take even 10 minutes for me to receive my order. So happy Palladio has a solid boba spot. This place is perfectly located for a quick stop after walking around or grabbing dinner. The matcha really impressed me. The color was dark and the flavor was nicely bitter, which I loved because it actually tasted like matcha instead of being drowned out by sugar or milk. The crème brûlée topping had a legit crisp to it and added just the right amount of creaminess without overpowering the drink. Super balanced and really satisfying. And the Hot Cheeto cheese dog? We came in and loved the big wall covered in faux ivy and neon signs. Super cute and perfect for pictures. Walked up the register and ordered. The menu had milk and fruit teas, smoothies, soft serve, croffle, and Korean corn dogs. They also had mochi donuts in the display. We got the ube and vanilla boba soft serve, ube soft serve, and potato corn dog. The soft serve was good but the ube flavor wasn't as strong as I liked. For the corn dog you could only choose 2 sauces, counting sugar as a sauce. Most places I've been to the sugar, ketchup, and mustard are included. Otherwise it was good, but felt the dough was a little undercooked. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in the area, but will probably stick to the soft serve. read more

Unlike many boba spots where the drinks can be overly sweet, this one struck the perfect balance. You could still taste the tea without the flavors overwhelming it--a refreshing change. Then came my daughter's corn dog, and she loved it! I watched her take a bite and saw that cheesy pull--how could I not try it? One bite, and I was sold. This place singlehandedly brought Korean corn dogs back onto my food list. It was served hot, with the perfect crunch and cheese pull. I knew they closed at 8:30, so as soon as I finished dinner at another restaurant in the Palladio, I ran over there to get my dessert and got there at 8:15. When I tried to order, they told me they weren't serving that anymore for the night since they close in 15 minutes, and they were only serving drinks. She told me I can come back tomorrow, and I told her that was supposed to be my birthday dessert, I'm not coming back tomorrow. Instead I went to Vampire Penguin and got the Dubai chocolate snow, which was delicious. When a place lists their hours until a certain time, they need to be serving everything until that time. Closing time should mean doors lock at closing and THEN you start shutting things down. You should never start shutting things down BEFORE closing time. That's lazy and bad business, and I don't plan on going back here again. read more

After enjoying the matcha tea with a friend of mine weeks ago I brought my mom and sister today so that they can enjoy the treats here as well! We ordered an assortment of drinks and sweet treats which were all truly scrumptious delicious! First time trying the cinnamon churro balls, mochi donuts and croissant/waffle strawberry treat. I recently stopped by Devil & Angel Desserts at Palladio to try a Korean corn dog for the first time ever, and I loved it. Even though they technically got my order wrong, I still think they deserved five stars. Devil & Angel is a quickly growing boba tea, croffle, KDog, and mochinut chain, with over a dozen shops across California, and several more on the way. The Folsom shop is super cute, and highly Instagrammable (although the tables could have been cleaner). I loved how spacious it was, and the fact that it was still open after I left the nearby movie theater. The girl who helped me was really nice, and patiently explained the menu to me. As I mentioned, this was my first time ever ordering a KDog. I ordered the half and half potato and mozzarella Hot Cheetos KDog with sweet chili and hot cheese. The KDog I was given was actually half sausage and half mozzarella, which, while not what I ordered, was still pretty good. The best part was the breading, which seemed to have bits of fried potato in it. It was almost like a tater tot breading, which was dusted with Hot Cheetos powder, and then drizzled with sweet chili and hot cheese. The "sausage" seemed to be regular hot dog meat, which I generally almost never eat, but, it was alright in this context. After trying this KDog, I ended up trying a few others at a few other restaurants. Out of all the ones I've tried so far, the one from Devil & Angel has been my favorite, because it tasted the freshest and most homemade. I would definitely like to come back again to try more of their KDogs, mochinuts, croffles, and boba tea! read more

A very cute shop located in the middle of Palladio plaza. Before going in you can take a photo of huge angle wings. When you walk in you're greeted by a whiff of sweets and deep fry corn dogs. The person taking our order was super friendly. She was helpful to people who didn't know what to ordered. I got the potato half and half corn dog. The batter was super yummy. The potato was nicely cut and not as big as other places. It makes eating this corn dog a lot easier. I just wish that you can get more than 2 sauce for free. I'm here in Folsom for work this weekend. I saw a few clients carrying these cute jars around, and asked where they got their boba. They mentioned this place. I went and got a lemonade. The decor was super cute inside. They also have snacks. One of their donuts was made into Cookie Monster. Their lemonade was pretty refreshing, but it had too much ice inside. I still wasn't really clear after the girl explained the drink but decided to try it anyway. When it came out, the drink was hot! I was bummed because she didn't say anything about that and I was not looking for a hot drink on the first 80 degree day of the year.... I went up to the front to order something different and mentioned I didn't know it was going to be a hot drink and she didn't offer to remake it or anything so I just paid for a Royal Milk Tea. It comes with boba. It was not good at all - tasted like something I can get at Lollicup and on top of that, the boba was hard! I was super disappointed, definitely 0 for 2 on drinks. I went there twice and both times, I had good experiences. The first time I passed it on the way to Fukumi Ramen and had a croffle as a dessert after lunch. Then I saw that they have a special combo of drink & donut for $9 on Tuesday & Wednesday. So, I went the following week and tried it. Overall, the desserts & drinks were not overly sweet which I like but their prices were kinda pricey (solid 4.5 stars) - banana Nutella croffle: the croffle was good. It would be better if the croffle was warm since it was a bit too hard when I ate it. The nutella cream wasn't too sweet which I love. The caramelized banana pieces were delicious. - cookie monster mochi donut: the mochi was okay since it was less chewy than my preference. The good thing was that the frosting wasn't overly sweet.
