I was excited to come back here two years later for their nutritional yeast popcorn - I stopped in at 8:15PM and was told that their kitchen closed at 8PM, with an actual close of 9PM and was really disappointed as it was my last night in Juneau! They did raise the price of their popcorn from $5 to $7. Their beers are still great though - I love their IPAs! Great solid spot for craft beer in Juneau.

Lovely local brew pub on Franklin Street, just up the hill from the famous block of wooden shops. Devil's Club was originally used for medicinal purposes, so popping in here is a health stop! There are several beers on tap, a cider, NA drinks, and house root beer. There are a variety of table types, including long tables for 8 guests. Friendly and fast service with good merch options, too! So glad we stopped in - would come back!

Great selection of brews that are not your typical fare. IPAs are their thing with multiple selections. Some fun ciders and seltzer too. Had the pretzel with cheese which was great. Staff helpful too. Cool local feel. Will be back.

Great brewery, great pretzel bites, enough said. If those are your kinda thing you will not be disappointed.

Tasty beer, friendly local vibe and fun events. Kid friendly and nice bartender helped recommend a beverage (seconded by a regular).

Amazing selection and over five different types of IPA's. Once you walk in from the hill you will notice this cozy brewery with in my opinion a hidden downstairs. The staff is amazing with guiding you and having you sample your find your new favorite. I was a big fan of the double IPA. It's hard to go work with any of there options epically there hazy options. They also have some good options. I have only tried the pretzel and it was a great addition to their beer. Overall it's a must stop place for local Alaskan beer.

Conveniently located in downtown, so it's very easy to walk to should you manage to find a parking place We tried a few different kinds of beer (dock jump hazy pale, signature IPA, the blonde, lager, and hazy IPA) and none were very flavorful, but maybe they're toned down to cater to a wider variety of clientele? The space is nice and it's great that they have small bites--I could see this being a fantastic event space for sure. We were only 1 of 3 tables there, but the layout is such that even if it was packed, it wouldn't feel overcrowded. They've done a great job!

Just looking at this brewery, I was amazed! Cool and chill spot to grab a draft while you're in Juneau. I had a Lager, but would definitely try out their other beers. There is a wide selection of various drafts from Lagers, Pilsners, to IPAs & more. They also offer some hot food options too. Super friendly service. I highly recommend!

I drank a lot of beer in Alaska but I just didn't particularly enjoy the beer I tried from here. Loved the names of their beers but just weren't for my palate I guess.

    Loved their Water World

I am not usually the beer drinker, but this place was highly recommended for local brews. We ordered a flight, and our favorite was the Water World - truly phenominal: crisp, fruity, fresh, with floral aftertaste. I am super bummed I have not purchased it in cans to go...

Small brew pub up the hill in the small shopping area by the pier. Lots of cool local options of beer alcohol, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic and some snacks and sandwiches. Get some pictures and stuff. we got a local beer and a basket of popcorn. Both were very fresh and good. They offered the option of butter or olive oil on the popcorn. They also have some great for sale.

Fun little brewery in downtown Juneau. The upstairs seating area has lots of space- high ceilings and lights keep it open, airy and festive. My husband enjoyed a flight and particularly loved the Couch Beach, a Belgium Blond Ale. I liked the Perry Pear Cider. Welcoming environment for all.

But…read moreThe Hangar impressed- they have a huge menu of traditional fare, so easy to find something for everyone. We got the "First Mate Plate" @ $33.99 (combo of fresh halibut & salmon), and (2) Halibut Tacos @ $26.99 + substituted the rice & beans for a cup of chowder:$4.50. This was so good, we came back the 2nd night and got the same thing! We were a party of 2 - 1st night had reservations and got seated right away; 2nd night walked in and got seated after a 5-minute wait. I think it's the larger parties that have to deal with the long wait or we were just lucky. Call in for reservations regardless. Noisy & busy but good food & good service.

After years of searching, I have found the best onion rings and calamari, right here in Juneau…read more It's a huge plate of crispy calamari with tartar and cocktail sauce. A lot of places have shrunk their calamari serving size down and serve it with an aioli that isn't always great. The basket of onion rings were crisp and hot with the right texture. I know it's frozen but it's the old fashioned onion rings that many places have changed the breading or undercooked or overcooked. Employees are very nice here. Our server was so nice. She checked on us a few times and refilled our drinks. We also had the one pound Alaskan king crab legs. It was just the way I remembered having it when restaurants used to serve Alaskan king crab legs. They're super fat meaty long legs. It was warmed up and served with lemon and butter. It was just enough for two of us. It probably would not have fed my son. He is a big eater and he would have ordered a steak. If I was hungry or had a crab craving, it might not have been enough for just me. We've also been over eating on a cruise ship for 6 days. We shared the apple crisp ala mode for dessert. It was not crisp but it did have some crumbs thrown on top like a cobbler. It was in a warm sauce and topped with ice cream. It's a cute place with a wharf view. The tables are not on top of each other. They gave us plenty of napkins and a bib too. If I lived in the area, I would be back every month for the calamari & onion rings, and yes the crab legs. The Diet Coke was perfect too, just enough syrup and carbonation. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

So after finding out that the other restaurant was not open at all that day we came back for a second time. Both times staff greeted us and told us to sit where we liked. It was a cool day but wanted to sit outside and watch the people and water. They offer a good selection of beers as well as some cocktails. (Check out the Bloody Mary!) So the first stop we ordered a flight as well as the Blueberry Mojito. The beers were good. The Blueberry Mojito was amazing. Our second stop we ordered the halibut fish and chips and seafood chowder and a beer and another mojito. The fish was cooked perfectly. Not too greasy. The chips were great. The chowder was good. Hot for a cold day and not too thick. Staff were always checking on us and made some great suggestions for the beers and food. We will stop by next time in town. This is one of our favorite places.

Pretty packed with other cruise folks. We just got one order of fish and chips and split it. Menu says 8 ounces of Alaskan halibut in a gluten free batter they make with their lemon lime spruce tip seltzer. Came as two pieces. Batter was crisp and golden brown like it should be. Fish inside was white and flaky. Fries are the hop salt fries. Little cup of tartar and a lemon wedge. The fish was good. I will give them that. But $38 for two pieces of fish and some fries is ridiculously stupid. That is just price gouging for the cruise crowd. Really disappointed we paid that. Service was moderate at best. Nobody was rude. Nobody was all that on it either. And watch out for the birds. They have pigeons walking around on the wood floor inside the building. One was pecking crumbs right by the glass where the kegs are. They take off and flap over the tables too. Feathers and the occasional bird doo doo. There is no way somebody hasnt gotten splattered at some point. Would eat the fish again if it was half the price. Not rushing back at $38.
