    Tempura halibut and chips $34.99
    Moncerrath N.

We came during lunch time. It was busy but we were seated right away. Our server Christy was super pleasant and checked in our table regularly. The restaurant has amazing views to the wharf. We were able to see the seaplanes land and take off. We ordered the tempura halibut & chips $34.99 and BBQ Burger Dip $24.99. The menu offers a variety of food items: burgers, steaks, pastas, soups/salads, local seafood dishes and a list of favorite dishes (jambalaya, shrimp tacos, ginger ahi, halibut wraps and more). If you pay with cash the 3% convenience fee will be removed. The portions for the halibut and chips were large and it was enough for two people. I would recommend for the halibut to be more crispy but overall it had a good taste.

What an amazing lunch here again and a year later! Dare I say the experience was better than my first!?!? -because it was! Not only was our table in a spectacular viewing location, but it was a BEAUTIFUL day here in Juneau! The food was delicious and service amazing. We have crab legs, chowder, pickled rick and ginger ahi. Will 100% eat here again if on my way back/through.

Me and my wife got here in the mid afternoon and they were fairly busy. Hostess said it'd just be a minute for her to get a table ready so we stepped to the side as other guests were arriving behind us. She then sat the very next party of 4 people without hesitation. This seemed very odd so when she came back to the host stand and greeted the next party we excused ourselves in front of the line and asked her if we'd be seated and she acted like we had never spoken to her. This was very strange but she sat us next to a window with a great view of the wharf where sea planes take off so we got to watch those while we ate. The server also took a long time to come to our table or even greet us to say he was busy and would be with us shortly, (it was about 10 minutes with us not even knowing if a waiter was assigned to our table). We shared the nachos and my wife ordered a Dr. Pepper which she said tasted so off that she wouldn't drink it. I tasted it and it tasted like cleaning solution wasn't properly rinsed out of the cup. She didn't want me to ask to send the drink back so we just didn't drink it. The nachos were pretty good though. They hit the spot since we were pretty hungry and they were worth the price, very easy to share between two people and leave full.

Came here because a friend of mine recommended it. We made reservations and luckily arrived at a decent time because it got packed as we were leaving. If you can, definitely make reservations here. We shared a king crab leg, citrus salmon plate and buffalo wings. Everything was delicious! Service was superb and quick! Our food came out in a timely manner and our waters were constantly filled. Overall I enjoyed eating here. Especially being able to watch the seaplanes take off from our tables window. This is definitely a cool place to visit while in Juneau

Looking to try out Alaskan crab legs and tik tok and Yelp led me here. We dropped in extremely late like 840pm and they advised it would be a 15-20min wait. We were seated in maybe 5mins. It took about 15 mins to get a server though. She took our drink orders and disappeared for another 15/20 mins tyen came back with drinks and took our orders. The food took about 20mins to come out. Everything was extremely fresh and hot, except 1 of my very expensive crablegs! It was over cooked and I fought like hell to get the crab meat out. How disappointing, HUGE SIGH. Everything else was delicious and no complaints. Our server initially was luke warm, then she warmed up and was nice. This place is beautiful. The views are amazing. I included videos of the view. The drinks weren't good FYI.

The cruise ship folks told us this was a great stop for king crab to skip the lines at Tracy's. We were glad we did because service was excellent. Great beer choices on tap. King crab is $100 a lb pretty much anywhere. But this was a nice sit down establishment with good food.

We ate here while in town for a day from a cruise. I was strictly wanting to try the Alaskan King Crab while in Juneau and we decided on The Hanger instead of Tracy's because my husband does not eat sea food (I know, why did I even marry him? jk). Our experience was just okay. There was a huge wait because all the ships were docked, which was no surprise. They said the beeper would work anywhere in the building and the wait was 45 minutes so we went to their sister place in the building to have a beer. We came back about 35 minutes into our wait and waited again. When we finally check they said they had been looking for us, but our beeper never went off. So I do not advise going somewhere else in the building with the pager. They sat us in a table right in front of the patio door so we were blasted with cold wind over and over again. Kind of feel like they could have put us in a better spot since the pager thing is technically their fault. But our server was nice, and got our order to us correctly. The king crab was $110 per lb, which seemed to be the standard. The chowder was also good. The restaurant sits right on the water so you can see the float planes land and take off, which was fun. Overall, it is a decent place with a variety on the menu, and good location. But be prepared to wait a long time on cruise docking days.

The restaurant was clean and inviting. Adam, our server was pleasant and helpful. I had the Halibut Fish and Chips. It was very good. I personally, I prefer Cod, but the Halibut was good. I recommend this restaurant for tourists and locals alike.

Clam chowder and ice cold Alaskan beer. Great service in this busy restaurant. Noisy but fun chatter.

Fun restaurant, great location, nice service and food was very tasty. We enjoyed everything and all the flavors. So much we ate here twice during our stay.

We were cold and wet after an incredible whale watching tour, and enjoyed sitting by the window watching seaplanes take off with a delicious drink. The sourdough bread bowl with halibut-salmon chowder and a Caesar salad was delicious. Friendly staff and a clean bathroom.

You can see these little planes land on the water and queue up, window side at the Hanger on the Wharf!

The views here were phenomenal from the dining area, and the food was also good! The Hangar on the Wharf is rightly named since there will be small planes landing in plain view from the windows. I came by off the cruise ships, it was towards the end of the season (September) so it was extra cold and cloudy (end of season for the northern lights viewing). The clam chowder was absolutely delicious; it was meaty, and just the perfect thickness I like. There were chunks of fish and clams in every bite. I also got fresh oysters and they were nice and meaty with a touch of brine and had a nice bite. The service was a bit slow since people were being sat in droves, but once the server came around, she was very nice. We had a few questions and she answered them with a smile and gave me some awesome tips. Overall, a satisfying meal with an awesome view; I would recommend.

Fun spot to come as a group, have fun, and enjoy a good meal! Located inside a huge building on the water, they have a great waterfront view. Model planes hang from the ceiling and upstairs there is a pool table. Friendly service despite how busy they are. I ordered the linguine with claims. Loved the garlic white wine sauce and the clams were fresh. Had the apple crisp for dessert. Nice slices of apple but it had very little "crisp" on top. Would definitely come again!

I was a fan of their root beer. Red Dog Saloon also has live music. During our visit - the singer was a mix of comical and rated R. It was funny, but had my son giggle here and there. My wife said she was gona order the Italian and I froze for a moment, were they gona charge me extra for lettuce, cheese, tomato,,,, luckily there was no add ons but that just makes it even more confusing as why veggie and add ons for steak and cheese?? -now the good parts, bread was fresh, soft, sandwiches were good. -house made chips were good, not oily, could use just a little more salt but was good. -$60 for 1 foot long and one 6 inch, bag of house chips and 2 cans of soda, even for Juneau is crazy. I did give 4 stars, food was good, but it's also a sandwich. Place was clean. Based upon their location, I'm sure tourist will pay the price, but personally probably won't be back.

I ordered the meatball which had a sauce that had a little kick which was delicious but it wasn't spicy. The chicken cheesesteak my husband ordered was delicious and I wish I didn't steal as much of his sandwich as I did. The house made chips are definitely worth it. In the future I will put some in my sandwiching or use them to treat the cheesesteak filling like a chip dip. The guy attending the counter was nice to work with and the music and atmosphere were chill but sure it gets busy sometimes. It was an all around great experience and I look forward to doing it again.
