Alaskan Brewing Company Depot carries tons of great merchandise. We had just finished a meal and loved their Summer Kolsch beer so we were pleasantly surprised to see them a couple of blocks away. They carry t-shirts, sweatshirts, glasses, mugs, beer handles, coasters, towels, stickers, dog toys and treats, and so forth. We picked up a few coasters and a tshirt. Staff were friendly. Ambiance was warm and inviting. And, right next door is their Alaskan Brewing Co Public House where you can sit down, try a beer or two, and some food! read more

Not spectacular but memorable. This is fresh air dining as there is no climate control and only moderate wind control. It is however convenient to all the docked cruise ships. What will bring you here is the collection of Alaskan Brewing beers. Long known for the Alaskan Amber Ale, that is only one of many choices. Dependent on your tastes you have alternatives; while, pale, IPA, Kolsh, porter, and seltzer. The Class 5 Pale is excellent as is the Smoked Porter and I recommend both. When the docks are full the staff is pushed to serve all but do a good job. read more

Service could improve, but then again I really don't know much about your service because my wife and I never received any. We came in and sat down near the center of the deck area and watched as your employees walked by us, some making eye contact but not one stopped to ask us for our order. As we watched several groups come in, sit down and receive service and after 30 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, we walked out. Would never recommend this establishment! read more

Nice little brewery focused merchandize shop in Skagway with some cool items for sale. While there I ended up getting a unique oversized thermos that had a keg appearance to it with a super cool Polar bear graphic. I already have a spot picked out for it on my home bar and cant wait to show it to my friends and family as it is definately a nice conversation piece. Also great for making a large batch of pre-made cocktails and taking it to a friend/family members house to share with which I absolutely plan on doing. Overall this business is definitely worth seeing if you are into bar/brewery centric merchandize like I am where it offers a nice change of pace to the more touristy trinket shops you will find in Skagway. read more

We visited ABC during a cruise to Alaska. Our party of 4 were among first off the ship and we quickly walked a short distance over to the brewery for lunch. Our lunches included fish sandwiches and beer. We sat outside on a beautiful lovely day and there was also inside seating. Service was excellent, the food was delicious and it's a definite spot to visiting while in Juneau. Our only disappointment was that the shuttle to the actual brewery was not running due to driver issues. read more

Very popular and busy spot by the cruise ship terminal. Beer selection was okay. What would be expected. If you're looking for a DIPA or strong be warned. Otherwise nice hoppy selection. Alaskan Brewing has definitely grown to a considerably large brewery as they distribute through a good portion of the continental United States. Since many people are aware of it the Depot serves as a merchandise store, primarily geared towards the tourists coming off from the cruise ships. The Depot does not serve Alaskan Brewing beer here. Their tasting room is out of downtown and you will need a vehicle to get there. It's frustrating it sounds like for some tourists since this fine merchandise store and their beer are separated. With that said however going to downtown Juneau restaurants and bars you are very likely to stumble across Alakan Brewing beers on tap but that doesn't always include their more limited releases of beer. The Depot itself has a great variety of merchandise, mostly clothing coming in hats, short and long sleeve shirts and hoodies. The upstairs is mostly made up of clearance items so there are some good deals in that area! read more

Very rude bartender. My husband was trying to ask him a question about a beer and the bartender rudely stated "can you hurry up. I am busy" I called him rude and he said he had a lot of people waiting. I told him it was clear he didn't want our business and left. I don't think this place is a fan of tourists- even though tourists are the very reason he is employed. Managers please train employees on patience!! read more

No beer here but it's the place to reserve a 10 min ride to the brewery and back. Tour takes about 90 minutes so you can do the entire round trip and tour in about 2 hours. I always leave room in my bag for goodies from the depot. They have the best Alaskan Brewery shirts, hoodies, hats, beer glasses and other fun stuff. Even my Wife found a cute hoodie here. read more

Just so everyone is aware, they don't have any alcohol here. They only have paraphernalia for purchase. They do have a bus that'll take you to location where they take you to the actual brewery, but when we went around 4, they had just done their last bus :( read more

No alcohol!! Just tee shirts and souvenir stuff, , there is a van that drives you to brewery, probably a 15min trip,

So much Alaskan Brewing merchandise available in this two story store with everything you can imagine embellished with the various types of beer from the local brewery. You can buy anything from a silicone beer mug or key chain to just about any type of clothing item.The staff were all super friendly and helpful without being pushy like so many other store employees in touristy areas. You can check out the board to see the types of beers being brewed at the Alaskan Brewery which is located just a little over 5 miles from the Depot. There is also a schedule of the shuttle from the depot, which will cost you only $20.00 and includes 7 samples of beer. Totally worth it - if you can find the time, definitely take the tour. It takes about an hour and a half including the ride there and back again. You will have so much fun and enjoy tasting the local beer. You cannot buy the beer in the depot since they only sell the logo merchandise there, but if you go to the brewery you can certainly get some to go, and it is great beer. read more
