Large Thermos decorated as a Keg with cool graphic

Nice little brewery focused merchandize shop in Skagway with some cool items for sale. While there I ended up getting a unique oversized thermos that had a keg appearance to it with a super cool Polar bear graphic. I already have a spot picked out for it on my home bar and cant wait to show it to my friends and family as it is definately a nice conversation piece. Also great for making a large batch of pre-made cocktails and taking it to a friend/family members house to share with which I absolutely plan on doing. Overall this business is definitely worth seeing if you are into bar/brewery centric merchandize like I am where it offers a nice change of pace to the more touristy trinket shops you will find in Skagway.

Only came to get a beer but had a great experience. The beer was delicious and the bartender was very friendly and very engaging. The ambiance as you can see by the photo was absolutely charming. Would highly recommend this darling brewery.

We visited ABC during a cruise to Alaska. Our party of 4 were among first off the ship and we quickly walked a short distance over to the brewery for lunch. Our lunches included fish sandwiches and beer. We sat outside on a beautiful lovely day and there was also inside seating. Service was excellent, the food was delicious and it's a definite spot to visiting while in Juneau. Our only disappointment was that the shuttle to the actual brewery was not running due to driver issues.

Very popular and busy spot by the cruise ship terminal. Beer selection was okay. What would be expected. If you're looking for a DIPA or strong be warned. Otherwise nice hoppy selection. Food was pretty good. Portions were clear that they were small sized and more was just that. Delicious and a nice atmosphere to kick back after hiking to snack and drink some light beers. Enjoy, good service but super popular!

Beer flight and 3 mini pretzel sticks for $16.99!

Good beer flight. Interesting. Very nice space And friendly folks. But $16 for 4 pieces of pretzel sticks? Seriously? And nothing great either.

You won't get a cold draft here......it's just merchandise! Even so, this was go pretty good souvenir shop if you are after anything with Alaskan Brewing on it to remember your trip to Alaska.

If you love beer and want a souvenir you will find it here. They have everything you can imagine with their logo on it and the prices are very reasonable.

Nick the bartender was awesome and made us feel welcome. He was entertaining and share knowledge of the area. He chose the halibut and curly fries and was it terrific. Tempura batter was light and fluffy! And two ice cold glasses of beer was delicious.

Good food, good service, great atmosphere, great gluten free options, and we didn't have to wait. Definitely worth the short walk!

The restaurant has amazing views to the wharf. We were able to see the seaplanes land and take off. We ordered the tempura halibut & chips $34.99 and BBQ Burger Dip $24.99. The menu offers a variety of food items: burgers, steaks, pastas, soups/salads, local seafood dishes and a list of favorite dishes (jambalaya, shrimp tacos, ginger ahi, halibut wraps and more). If you pay with cash the 3% convenience fee will be removed. The portions for the halibut and chips were large and it was enough for two people. I would recommend for the halibut to be more crispy but overall it had a good taste.

She then sat the very next party of 4 people without hesitation. This seemed very odd so when she came back to the host stand and greeted the next party we excused ourselves in front of the line and asked her if we'd be seated and she acted like we had never spoken to her. This was very strange but she sat us next to a window with a great view of the wharf where sea planes take off so we got to watch those while we ate. The server also took a long time to come to our table or even greet us to say he was busy and would be with us shortly, (it was about 10 minutes with us not even knowing if a waiter was assigned to our table). We shared the nachos and my wife ordered a Dr. Pepper which she said tasted so off that she wouldn't drink it. I tasted it and it tasted like cleaning solution wasn't properly rinsed out of the cup. She didn't want me to ask to send the drink back so we just didn't drink it. The nachos were pretty good though. They hit the spot since we were pretty hungry and they were worth the price, very easy to share between two people and leave full.

I recently returned from a lovely 10 day Alaskan cruise. My wife & I had a great time checking out…read more4 different ports along with 6 days at sea. The ship was the epitome of modern luxury and the port cities catered to all the tourists needs. But at some point, I needed to get a little down and dirty, to get away from the crowds of visitors. To me, Alaska is still frontier, and I needed to experience just a taste of it. From the recommendation of a grizzled cruise staff, my wife & I found ourselves at the Alaskan Hotel and Bar, enjoying a pint and taking in small piece of history. While a few tourists did wander in, most of the patrons seemed local and knew each other and the staff. We watched from the far end of the bar and soaked in the atmosphere while enjoying our beers. Though there was a single acoustic guitarist playing from the stage, the bar was mostly still and quiet, a welcome respite from the throngs of outsiders on the street, veering in and out of the jewelry stores and tacky souvenir shops. Both of us needed this time to recharge, to enjoy a different side of Alaska than we'd seen, to be around normal people again. Does this bar have all the amenities? Are fancy cocktails the standard fair? Is the furniture new? All those answers are no. But the drinks are strong and the bathrooms are clean. And for a tired tourist, this is the most welcome sight.

While the hotel's location is excellent - right in the heart of Juneau's tourist area -…read moreunfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our stay. The convenience of the location simply does not outweigh the poor hospitality and lack of customer care we experienced. I normally enjoy supporting small independent businesses like this one, but this stay has made me seriously rethink where I choose to spend my money going forward. Having stayed in both luxury hotels and unique properties with character, I know that basic professionalism and genuine guest care should be standard regardless of price or style. Disliked · Upon our arrival to this property we made our way to our room only to discover it was not the Family Loft with two queen beds we had specifically booked. Instead, we were given a room with one queen bed and a pull-out couch. When I returned to the front desk, I was told the booked room was occupied by a long-term tenant and unavailable. While I understand availability issues can arise, the hotel had been in direct contact with me through the booking platform's messaging system prior to our arrival and never mentioned this problem. It appeared they chose not to inform us, likely to prevent us from canceling. The pull-out couch was in poor condition, making it impossible for our adult family member to get a decent night's sleep. The queen bed was also uncomfortable, with our feet elevated in an awkward position. The window was broken and OPEN at least 2 inches. We did not expect a luxury resort, but we did expect the room type we reserved. Most concerning was the staff's response. Rather than showing empathy or offering solutions, they became defensive, blaming the booking company and stating the room had been unavailable for weeks. Since I booked December 6th, this lack of notification wasted our time and created unnecessary inconvenience. I politely requested compensation for just one night due to the inconvenience, which I believe was more than reasonable. Unfortunately, the hotel made no effort to resolve the situation or make things right despite my several follow-ups. Prospective guests should be aware: while the location may seem convenient, the poor communication, room inaccuracies, and indifferent customer service made this a frustrating experience we would not repeat. To make matters worse, the hotel was crazy loud until 3am due to the bar adjacent to the property, making rest nearly impossible. We will be visiting Juneau several times a year in the coming years with August 2026 being our next stay, sadly we cannot support this small business.
