We cancelled our job within three hours of the Mr. Electric technician coming out to see what the job entailed. Pearl C. is saying that placing a lien on a home is standard policy after a cancellation. Really, even if we had waited three months for a permit, the very qualified technician who completed our estimate had resigned from Mr. Electric. The second technician was arrogant and dismissive and didn't grasp the scope of the job of moving an entire electrical panel. He didn't even know that Mr. Electric was responsible for obtaining the permit. We never signed a contract; the signature that Mr. Electric shows on a contract for our house is not our signature. We paid a deposit that more than covered the cost of the permit. Don't use this company.
