A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya.

I needed to get towed to Seacoast Mazda, over an hour away. They drained the oil, which they said was the wrong viscosity, and refilled it. It was $294. I assumed, since the lines connecting these two events were so clear, and my car is a 2023 with 30k miles on it, that they would just pay and I'd be on my way. They called back and declined to pay for the work. If they won't pay $294 to rectify a small mistake, they ABSOLUTELY will not take responsibility for anything else, either.

Not to mention eternally relieved to have finally completed a state inspection. What would otherwise be classified as an innocuous, yet necessary tradition, you would be surprised how difficult it is to find a place to get a proper state inspection done IF you're new to the area and not quite sure where to go. Worse yet....if you happen to have tint on your front windows like I did, you'd be hard pressed to find a place that will even perform said inspection, as it apparently violates NH state law. Anyway, this place is fast, efficient, and the staff are very accommodating. They even have a spiffy little waiting area with coffee and everything. Also, they accept Apple Pay. Which....I didn't realize until AFTER I already paid them with my card. See, they have one of those scanners that displays the option as the total is presented. I told the lady at the front desk they should probably post a sticky on the front door mentioning as much. This is such a convenient spot for me to get my state inspection and whatever else done because it's so close to where I live. And affordable? You bet your ass they are! I waited 40' for a 5' minute reinspect that didn't even require the inspection bay. I had to come back for reinspection of my emergency bake - not a problem it was a good catch. The reinspect took under 5 minutes, a 15 second test to set and release the emergency brake outside the bay and under 4 minutes to add an update to DOT inspection system, place a new sticker and print a receipt. However, the first time I came back at 5:20 p.m. when inspections were open the guy said he was doing his last inspection of the day, come back. Second visit, inspector says they work strictly on a first come first serve basis, no prioritization for a reinspect even for one this quick. With open bays to either side they did a drop off car first and even did an oil change on it in the inspection bay. No appointments and no common sense, this place is my last choice.
