    Gyro

i was craving a gyro and decided to come here. The interior is spacious and when we went it wasn't crowded and there were plenty of seating available. We ended up getting two entrees, (gyro & shawarma) and an order of Tabbouleh. Out of the two, i enjoyed the gyro, but both were delicious and filling. however the star was the Tabbouleh... it was crisp and extremely refreshing. The lemon flavor profile definitely packs a punch. They also have balkava! I'll be back, delicious food and its reasonable priced... what's not to like?

This might be one of DFW's best kept secrets. It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza off of Hall-Johnson/121 with plenty of parking available and very reasonable prices. Walk in and look at the expansive menu, which is essentially broken down into different variations of plates, kabobs, platters, and sandwiches. Order up and sit at one of the available tables/booths. What we got: Gyro sandwich contains plenty of nicely flavored gyro meat, veggies, and a warm, soft pita. We've tried the kofta kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and you just can't go wrong The guys running this place (or at least always at the counter/preparing the food) are always super nice and patient. Shout out to them for always maintaining a positive attitude, whether its during a chaotic day or a slow day. Note: This place can get busy, so you may not have any luck calling in your orders and/or you may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it!

We never pass up an opportunity to come here! They know what we're going to order as soon as we walk in. Some of the other reviews have talked about the meat being dry. I have never experienced that here. Others seemed confused as to what the "mayo" sauce is. It is called Toom. It's a garlic sauce. Use it wisely, as it is delicious.

To go; Beef Shawarma Plate, Gyro Plate and Beef Kofta Kabab Plate, all excellent!

Found this place by accident because we were trying to go to the Laotian restaurant next door and they were closed. Glad we stopped in! Beef kabob plate -8/10 huge portion, beef was tender and perfect flavor, rice was tasty as well! Babaganoush- 7/10 portion was huge! You get a lot for the price and they cooked the meat in front of you fresh!

I heard a lot of good recommendations about this place and decided to give this place a try. I would have to agree with the recommendations! We ordered the chicken sharwama, chicken Arabic sharwama, and the gyro fries, and a tiramisu. They were all fresh and delicious! The service was great and quick. The ambiance was quite and there was plenty of seats. We will definitely be back.

Excellent shawarma & falafel! Staff are so nice, & they perfectly prepare your meal. Definitely worth a visit. Plenty of tables for indoor dining. Take away is available. Drinks are sodas, teas, & water via fountain, cans & bottles. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma salad.

We love this neighborhood family-owned restaurant! Great service, prices and portions. We ordered the small family combo that came with so much food for $60 (serves 3-4): 6 kebabs (2 each of chicken, lamb and kofta), baba ghanoush and hummus, fries and rice, pita and accompaniments (sauces, pickles tomatoes onions and jalapeños). Everything was delicious - my favorites were the baba ghanoush and super addictive fries (crinkle cut and well seasoned).

This place NEVER disappoints! Huge portions, great taste! The baklava is amazing! Don't miss out on this gem

Discovered this place by accident when I offered to bring lunch to a friend who lives close by. I ordered online through the website and everything was ready and waiting when I arrived 20 minutes later. We got the beef shawarma with pita for my friend and the mixed grill platter for me. The meats all were very flavorful, and the chicken in my mixed grill had a nice char on it. The salad that comes with the platters is kind of sad--pale tomato slices with some shredded lettuce--but it's really all about the meat when you go to a place that sells gyros and kabobs. The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, with just a handful of tables and Formica (?) faux-wood booths like you see in a small pizza joint. The space was clean, though, and you can see meat roasting on spinning skewers behind the the counter. I like seeing how things are made. Don't know that I'd want to dine in, but it's a perfect pit stop to grab lunch or dinner on the go. The portions are huge, the prices are fair, and the meats are delish.

Dolmas - they look good, but you can tell when you eat them that they were canned.

I got an order of Dolmas and a gyro. The gyro was pretty good! The meat could have been a bit more flavorful, but over all good. The reason I knocked stars off is the dolmas. You can clearly tell they are out of a can. They are so slimy and nasty. I have had dolmas in Greece and this just was not even close.

Found this great spot that serves delicious gyros and shawarma. It's a quick, fast eats spot that's catered more to take outs. We ordered a chicken shawarma plate, mix grill plate (incl. beef, lamb & chicken), baba ghanoush, and falafels. The portions are massive, easily enough for leftover. The order also came with tons of pitas on the side. For the quality and portion size, this is one of the top spots to get your gyro fix! Recommend!

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I saw a guest put their bare hands in the pita basket, pick a pita and then put it back in the basket with others. The buffet area is not commonly cleaned with food bits everywhere. I know it's not the same with the Plano location so I hope manager of this location pays attention to their patrons and ensure basic hygiene standards are followed. The biggest issue was that everything was very salty -- to the point where it was hard to finish the meal. My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it. Overall, this feels like a place designed for a more generic take on Greek/Mediterranean food rather than something truly authentic or memorable. There's nothing outright bad about it, but nothing really stands out either. It's fine, just not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. 3 Stars, right down the middle.

It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.
