I ordered the chicken wrap (totally thinking I was ordering the chicken kebob wrap, but that error is totally on me). The wrap had chicken thighs, a mildly spicy sauce, and french fries tucked inside. Not bad at all. Now I'm already planning to return for the kebobs. The real MVP moment? When I ordered to-go, the tipping screen popped up like it always does, but as said as I hit "to-go," the counter person deleted the tip screen and the total appeared. This place I have avoided for exactly two years because I kept thinking that i wasn't going to enjoy it. Why? Because the menu was really limited. 2 Wraps, 2 salads and 4 rice plates to choose from. And being me I always narrowed it down to the rice plates and thought that I would never be full by just eating one piece of chicken and some rice and so I avoided coming here. Well, it was a waste of missed opportunity and I completely understand now why this place has such great reviews. It's like Raising Cane's where they only do a few things, but they do it really well. I ordered the rice and chicken and it was just so delicious! Whenever you hear about a dish that has so much flavor, this is the kind of dish they're talking about. The rice was so flavorful and there's a lot of it. The one piece of chicken is grilled to perfection. You can taste the smokiness and it is seasoned extremely well. Since then, I've had the rice plate two more times and I always enjoy every bite. With that said, I still asked the first time if they had any secret baba ghanoush or hummus hiding in the kitchen. Amazing Pakistani style kabobs, probably top 5 in NTX. Beef and chicken kabobs were seasoned well but not overly spicy, marinated for some time, I could taste the seasoning in every bite. The meat was good quality and then girlled over real coal fire and not gas fire like most indoor kitchens. I tried the leg quarters, bihari kabob and beef seekh kabob with pulao, all were freshly cooked and delicious. However, they do their best to give you suitable recommendations and get the food out to you to the best of their ability. They have the method, just not the means (or space) to really speed things up. The food here is the stand out all star, both in terms of this review and compared to their competition. They offer a more niche version of Chicken and Rice, namely South Asian BBQ items, but provide much more quality and stomach filling satisfaction than you'd get otherwise. Their Beef and Chicken Skewers in particular have a distinct and tantalizing seasoning while maintaining a balance between juicy interior and crispy exterior. The salad is simple but fresh, while the sauces don't make you feel heavy or bloated. Even the Aroma rice here has its own unique flavor which further compliments the whole. Their fries and burgers are well cooked and seasoned, about what you'd look for in a solid meal. The only miss are the wraps, which are a very poor representation of the overall quality of the restaurant and should be avoided in favor of their other items. Good food but terrible customer service. As an out of town visitor (from Chicago) I picked this place to have a quick bite with my local friends. They say they close at 9 pm which for most places means they close the doors at 9 and you can order up until 9 pm. So we get there around 8:20 and place our order. One of my friends was running late so we asked him for his order; he texted back at 8:30 so we waited for the guy to come back out and he's like "the grill is closed". Weird bc we didn't get our food yet. He arrived a few minutes later and went up the guy and said "ok what do you guys have already made?" And he's like "we have some chicken" and he's like "fine ill take that". So food comes out at like 8:45 pm. We went and asked for some extra plates and the guy is like "you guys need to finish eating by 9 pm because we are closing." Thankfully the kebabs were juicy but we had to start scarfing food down to make it by 9. The rice was OK. Had a buncha raisins (not a fan) so had to sort those out. Found this spot while looking for a non-chain in Coppel. It is tucked into a small strip center and currently doing pickup and delivery. I made my own combo with one chicken and one beef kebab. Went to Kebab Uncle w/ my cousin and ordered the chicken skewer kebab and fried fish w/ aroma rice. The chicken kebab and fish were fresh and delicious. Not much of a seafood guy but would order the fried fish. The salad and rice were plain but tasty. Price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. The place was clean and had a nice quiet environment. Only thing that I didn't like was that the outside sign was small. Definitely a place to try especially if you like kebabs. read more

Very good! I surprisingly loved the chicken options more than the beef and lamb choices. Chicken skewer kebab and the chicken thigh were amazing. Also really liked the fish which had a great flavor to it. Nothing was spicy which was good for many members of my family, but I personally would have liked a little more kick to everything. The beef kebab was a little chewy, and lamb was how I was expecting it to be, but nothing out of the ordinary. A couple suggestions, perhaps some better dipping sauces like a chutney or a white and red sauce like Halal Guys could make this great. Some sumac seasoning on the meats and rice would take it to another level. I was also hoping for some salad with the family platter but I guess it isn't included, that would be nice as well. It was chopped up with a bunch of gristle, bone fragments and it was soooo oily.... although the spices were good, for the first time in my life, I have to say I couldnt finish this yucky chicken kebab. My husband got the beef kebab and same experience: great rice pilaf!! But..... tough unknown mixture of beef/ meat with gristly pieces and very tough, rubbery texture. I came around 2 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon and the parking lot was full. I couldn't find a parking space. I had to park at the dental place next door. There were signs that said they will tow your car. Since the business was closed, I figured I take my chances since I was just going to order to go. I ordered a chicken kebab but wanted to try the beef kebab too. Unfortunately, there is no combo set so I ordered 1 skewer of beef. I wanted to try the aroma rice but they didn't have it. My 2 skewers , rice and salad came to about $13. For the amount of food I got, i thought it was a little bit pricey. May be the portion would have been larger if I ate there. The meat had good flavors. The rice was good and the salad was just OK. Would I come back? Yes. I like it but not enough to make me want to come often especially if parking is a problem. There seems to be a lot confusion in the kitchen although there was just me and another customer. The wait was a little too long for me. I will give them another try; however, if I can't find a parking space, I would just go somewhere else. read more

I got numbers 2,3,4,and 5 dinners. The rice and salad was very good, and an especially good portion of the delicious rice. The chicken and beef kabobs were nicely seasoned. The grilled chicken was also very flavorful and tender. I was surprised that I liked fish as much as I did. It had a crunchy, slightly spicy coating.
