Came here during lunchtime on a Saturday and it was empty which is surprising for how good the food is! We got the chicken plate with brown rice and spinach, lamb plate with brown rice and spinach, and hummus with pita. The meats were delicious but you only get about 6 pieces per plate. Rice was excellent. The star of the show was the spinach - the taste was perfect. I just wish it was served warm (by the time it came out it was cold but that's not a fault of the service because spinach just cools quickly). The white sauce is impeccable and the cashier gave me an extra side at no charge which was very kind. Our only complaint is that the hummus was not edible. It came with an oil on top that quickly congealed - not the usual olive oil that most Mediterranean restaurants serve on top of their hummus. Next time I would skip the hummus. The restaurant was clean but the bathroom door did not lock. The ladies working there were very kind! read more

Recommend the wrap, as it comes with a nice warm pita and veggies, along with some sauces- just request to sub/omit the dairy-based sauce if needed. My wife and I decided to try this spot since we were in the area and had heard the hype. I got the lamb kebab, and she had the beef kofta--both platters were excellent. We paired them with brown rice and salad, which made for the perfect lunch portion. The service was good, and our food came out in a timely manner. It is a simple enough concept...Kebabs-To-Go. It is pretty much what the name captures. You can get Veggie Kebabs, Basic Kebabs (chicken, beef, gyro) or Premium Kebabs (Salmon, Lamb, Ribeye). I got a Ribeye Kebab and a Ground Beef Kebab. For my sides I chose Rice and Potatoes. I have to say, it was pretty delicious. The ribeye was as tender as the ground beef. The ground beef has a kick to it, so beware if you are sensitive to a little heat on your food. The rice was delicious, the potatoes were just ok. I'm just really confused. I've been ordering from here more than once a week for the past year but when I went in to pick up my order today I was told that the beef ribeye isn't halal. This is HUGE. Really amazing takeout. I am a Mediterranean food lover, but man the flavors from this restaurant are special. Everything was flavorful, even the chickpea side (I actually ordered a different side but they knew what was best for me). Lamb gyro is good, the lamb gyro from this is great. Portion is a unfair compared to the price. Same grievance as the previous reviewers. Service needs to be fixed. First off, the cashier was nice. He took our order and we were told to wait 15min. We noticed that he had AirPods on, talking to someone, but who cares if he gets the order correct, right? We ordered two ribeye plates and an extra chicken kebab. Wrong. We wait 20 minutes for our food to come out and then tells us to wait another 7 minutes for the chicken kebab that we ordered--cause he forgot. We ended up asking for a refund at this point. We were the only customers inside the store. How do you mess up the order with only one order placed in person? Take off the AirPods if you cannot multitask. We get the food and notice that the plastic bag, the WHOLE PLASTIC BAG, is wet with a vinegary clear liquid. Great, it got on my clothes and hands. We open up the food at home and the meat portion--?!?! Why is it so small compared to the other chains? I've visited other Kebabs-to-go and the portions were never like this. Personally, their steak kabobs are just not worth it for the $$ but the lamb, gyro, and falafel is bomb!! I normally order from the Coit location through UberEats. ALOT. So much so that they once put a thank you note with free baklava as a thank you for supporting their business. Today I decided to drive in, and stood next to the counter. There were no other customers there. There was a lady and a gentleman with airpods in the kitchen. The lady did not acknowledge me at all. I stood there for FIVE MINUTES. She never once acknowledged me, or told me that she would be right with me. They completely disregarded my presence. Food is hit or miss. The price is ok but the quality sometimes is missing like the chicken can be really dry at times. The salad is great and the rice is usually perfect. The steak can also be dried out at times. For a 20 dollar kebab I'd expect more quality when it comes to the meats. Still my favorite Kebab place in Dallas. I first went to Kebabs-To-Go's Irving location when I was working closeby. Truly amazingly good kebabs. I was delighted to learn that they had opened a location in North Dallas close to where I live. But their efforts to run a business at this locaiton on Coit have been thwarted by the City of Dallas taking a big sh!t all over them by dragging out the construction on Coit. Now this business can't get online orders right and can't answer their phones, likely because the owner or management have come to see that any efforts put into that location right now are wasted because the City of Dallas has effectively shut them down. This is a 5 star review for the restaurant and a 1 star review for the City of Dallas, whose city council members obviously get some sweet kickbacks from the city contracts they give to poor contruction/developer companies. read more

The rib eye and lamb kebabs were both great! The sides of brown rice, spinach and garbanzo beans all had distinctive flavors so that nothing overlapped. The sauces varied from tangy to head-sweating. I'm looking forward to trying everything they have on the menu! This is not a 5-star restaurant, but we know that going in by it's name.
