Aesthetically this place is great! Super cute and definitely a nice hang out spot :) I really wanted to rate this place higher because of how pretty it was and the owners were nice. Butttt, the doughnuts were really lacking in my opinion :(. Overly sweet with no real balance of flavor. I wasn't a fan of the texture either. The doughnuts were huge, dry and a lot denser that I expected. I wished they were light and fluffy. Perhaps the dryness was due to the donuts being kept (behind a "glass") in open air? Not covered or in a case. Or maybe we got there too late in the day for a fresh batch?... Great little spot to hang out with friends or family and have some sweet treats! Visiting from out of state and wanted to check this place out with family. There is a small snow cone place attached to the building next-door as well. Outdoor there is nice seating with umbrellas for shade and some game options like tic tac toe and bean bag toss. Looked very clean and well kept. Inside was clean, nice esthetics with some indoor seating options as well. I'm not sure if there was a restroom. Friendly staff, just seemed quiet. Owners are very nice and accommodating. A nice array of sweet bakery options and coffee. The guava filled donut with the cream cheese icing is the best one in my opinion. It's the season of the "meh". The apple fritter was huge; however, it was more bread than apple or fritter. The fritters from Walmart are better ESPECIALLY for the price. To be fair, DG's fritter did weigh in at 2 lbs from what I read...I can attest to only size and taste. I tried some of the other donuts but will stick to Krispy Kreme for my donut delight and Walmart for my fritter fix. TLDR: Not worth the cost, but the donuts were fresh even late in the evening. I hate that I didn't take a picture of these doughnuts before I ate them, but they are huge and beautiful. My favorites were the lemon filled and the maple bacon. The lemon doughnut had such a good flavor and a large amount of filling. The whipped cream, frosting on the top was a good touch and I think it was also covered with sugar for a little crunch. Apple fritters are my favorite here. They, along with their other options, are huge. I like to cut up the apple fritter into 6-8 pieces and freeze them to have a treat here and there. My 5 yo loves their doughnut holes. The flavor has slightly changed with the change of location and I slightly preferred them at the older location, but the newer location I think is a better location and has a nice outside dining space, overall the change is good. There is so much more space to view the baked goods and also eat on the patio in front of the restaurant. I will note that parking here is a little odd as there are a few spaces in front or just street parking. But, if you are a doughnut lover and also love being able to just buy one GIANT baked good as opposed to 2-3, then this is the place for you. Visited this place a couple weeks ago for my anniversary and it was amazing! Decided to go for a little treat with my girlfriend and she recommended DG Doughnuts and it was a fanatic choice! We picked up a couple doughnuts; the 420 munchies speical with pretzels, peanuts, chocolate & peanut butter (my favorite) with potato sticks! and a blueberry apricot doughnut which was very refreshing. A well-hidden gem that I only got to know about through a friend's social media. It's funny how this place never seems to show up on my Yelp recommendations or searches when I try to explore doughnut places in Orlando. Is this place supposed to be super secret or something? Because, boy oh boy, finding this place was like stumbling across a secret dungeon harboring a rare item. While a bit far from my usual haunts, the location is quite easy to find and navigate. Once you get off of the Florida Turnpike, the doughnut shop is pretty much a 2-3 minute drive from the ramp. If you've never been before, make sure you look up pictures of the building before driving there because the actual shop is located inside of an old gas station. I will admit that I was a bit bewildered and had a temporary fright when I reached my destination because I arrived at a time when there were no other cars in the parking lot. Because of that, I almost mistakenly thought that they weren't open since I was expecting the place to be packed and milling with people. I was so relieved to find that was not the case and that I probably just arrived at an hour when they weren't all that busy. The first impression I got from this visit was that the doughnuts are massive and looked as decadent and stunning as the pictures I saw on instagram. To give you an idea of the size of these doughnuts, they're roughly 6 inches in diameter and can be easily shared between two people. I was a little worried that the doughnuts might be too sweet for my taste, but that wasn't the case at all! And they taste so good that I was tempted to eat another one right after eating my first. They also sell an assortment of other baked goods that are just as large and impressive. The blueberry muffin that I got was generously stuffed with nice, plump blueberries and topped with a satisfyingly sweet and crumbly top. My only regret was that I didn't buy enough because I wasn't sure if I was going to like them. But sure enough, I've certainly fallen madly in love with them and can't wait to buy more! read more

I only ever do delivery from here, but the pastries are amazing. Each one is very aesthetically pleasing with effort in presentation, but more importantly they're tasty. And plus- sized. My favourite option is the chocolate chip cookies though, some of the best cookies with a nice balance of taste - not overly sweet like many bought cookies. Delish! The Apple fritter is GIANT! And the bars depend on what kind, can be on the big or small side, but always yummy. Yes, this location is in a gas station but don't bat an eye at that. It has such a cute little nook to the left side of the store. The staff was so incredibly friendly when I visited. The doughnuts are HUGE. And honestly, I think the pricing is really reasonable compared to some of the other trendy doughnut places around town. I went with three doughnuts for this visit since it was just going to be for my husband and I. Like I said, the doughnuts are huge so we ate from these three doughnuts for like three days. The thing I love about DG is that they rotate through flavors so there's always something different.
