All of the vegetables tasted fresh, the bread was toasted to perfection, the green chile had flavor but no heat, and it was just the right amount of bacon and turkey. Oooo DG's, how I wish I discovered you earlier! This deli is a one stop shop for your sandwich cravings. I love to get their Southwest BLT which has all your BLT ingredients plus bacon, green chile and cream cheese on toasted wheat. It is sooo delicious! The vibe is cool and kinda dark. There were hot and cold sandwiches. Anything you wanted, it could be built into a sandwich. Ingredients were fresh. Bread was good. We got sides of chips (in a bag) and a can of coke. There's not many places in albuquerque that share the magic that DG'S Deli has. As soon as you walk in your hit with this freedom and love nostalgic environment. The food is made to perfection and with such love that it makes you wonder why u didn't eat there sooner. If I could I would eat there daily, their bread is soft and always sooo fresh. Waited a month or so and against my better judgment I decided to give D&G another try. Bought a $14 sandwich and was charged $.30 for a cup for water without being told.
