    Duran and Avocado Dessert
    Sam G.

Really well decorated restaurant, big with tons of seating. We came on a Friday night so they were pretty busy. I had the beef brisket pho which I forgot to take a Pic of lol the desserts were so yummy! We had the Duran and the avocado dessert (drinks). Will definitely come back to try more from their menu. Servers were also really attentive despite the business.

A Vietnamese restaurant that is busy here so expect a wait. The space is a decent size with lots of servers running around - however, I still think not enough servers for the size of the place. Food was great with large portions that were great for sharing. Loved that they had a promo where you get free spring rolls if you spend $50. Another promo for free drinks (I forget the promo, but it was either a Viet coffee or a Thai iced tea). Food came out at a reasonable timing. Here's everything we got: Cha Gio 5/5 - Deep fried spring rolls that were crispy and pairs perfectly with their fish sauce. House Special Pho 5/5 - Thought this was very flavourful with their soup. LOTS of meat in this - portion wise it was so good! Bun Rieu with Soft Shell Crab 4/5 - This was good but I thought it was a tad salty the more I ate this. The soft shell crab though was PACKED with roe and was so meaty! Absolutely would get this again. Banh Cuon 5/5 - Steamed rice rolls with sausages and herbs. I love banh cuon, so this was my favourite! Their fish cakes and sausages were so delicious and well paired with the rice rolls. Grilled Pork Spring Roll with Vermicelli 5/5 - Huge portion sizing. Thought the grilled meats were great and pairs so well with all the veggies. Grilled Pork Chop and Chicken with Egg Rice 3.5/5 - Thought this dish was just okay. I would definitely pick the other dishes over this one. Still good though. Overall, a pretty solid Vietnamese spot for noodle soups and appies. I would be back again!

Been to their scarb location and was excited to try this one. Service was really good and attentive. I ordered the bun bo hue and it had a lot of toppings including pig's blood, pork hock, viet sausage and beef brisket slices. The broth was spicy and delicious. We also ordered the rib eye salad to share and that was definitely my favourite. Super refreshing! Thai milk tea was strong but I would probably ask for less ice next time :)

We came here for lunch today and had a great experience. We shared the Steamed Rice Rolls and they were delicious. It was a massive platter and I loved all the different flavours, but the rice rolls themselves were the highlight and were incredible. I got the Bun Rieu with Softshell Crab and it was amazing. The crab was very tender and full of flavour. The soup was also great and was packed with tons of meat and vegetables. We also got a bowl of pho which we also enjoyed, but I'd say the Bun Rieu was the highlight. The service here was pretty quick so we had no complaints there. We'll definitely be back here and I'm sure I'll get the Softshell Crab again!

Finally visited this new location in a super convenient, but busy plaza. The service was attentive, and the food is consistently delicious as the Scarborough location. It can get busy during lunch and dinner, so go during off-peak hours if you can. We tried the complimentary desserts (Mon - Thursday) until Dec 31st. So delicious - hope they bring the mochi with green rice cake back again.

Just stopped in for lunch after some grocery shopping. This location just opened in the old fortinos plaza for those Markham people who remember that far. When you walk in decor is amazing. Staff is working hard and really keeping things clean and organized. There is an automated machine to get your number in line. Saw some ppl thinking it was a food court and trying to sit down as people got up to leave (and jump the line). Staff was coordial and managed to keep the order and fairness politely asking those line cutters to go back to waiting. Now for the good stuff. The food. Kids wanted a fresh roll, it was about $12.50 for a shrimp one which is a bit high, but comes with pickled vegetables and kids really enjoyed it. Only thing is , I think they make it a bit long so when they cut it some pieces were open on both ends which the kids dropped some of the noodles out. I ordered a bun bu hue which had a ton of meat. Flavour was good and lots of different meats including trotters. The Viet ham was nice, 4 slices and was tasty. My other daughter got a short rib rice platter. Picture in the menu didn't do it justice. You get a ton of meat, and the aroma was making me salivate. The meat was seasoned really well and overall was a great dish. Wife had a house pho, which also had a ton of meat. I think with the noodle soups the only thing that could use improvement is that they don't give you much noodle. For those looking for value it's not bad cause the ton of meat makes up for it. I would have liked a bit more noodle (,you can pay extra to get more noodle if you wanted). Would definitely come here again. Great service and great food.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and came out in a timely manner after we ordered. The staff were so friendly and kind as well. With each dish we ordered it came with a free drink ice coffee or Thai tea! The interior is also so cute, a lot of people saying it reminded them of Vietnam

It was quite busy during the beginning but the waitress at front was patient enough to the people waiting for tables. Food was good but we have quite a few good pho place these days, so it was hard to say which is better. However, I tried this fried chicken wings and it was delicious. The atmosphere is good, service dining in were just alright as some staffs aren't very efficient or attentive; possibly because it was still new and they aren't used to the flow yet. Overall, I do like this place and will come back again and hopefully no need to wait for 30mins next time

Tried their signature noodles. It is an average and not outstanding. It is located inside Denison Center, very convenient location.

The restaurant was very busy on this Saturday lunch and there was a wait list. Once our table was ready, they sent us a text to go back. We ordered Special Pho, Soft Crab Noodles, Rice Rolls, Beef Salad and Spring Rolls. All the food was very solid. The pho was like most pho noodles. Nothing particularly outstanding but the beansprouts come blanched. We prefer them raw but were not consulted. The crab noodles were very good and flavourful, I would definitely order those again. The spring rolls, Beef salad and rice rolls were good too. The service is not very good. We were given a tea pot but no cups. We had to find a server to ask for some. When our spring Rolls came, we also had to ask for bowls.

New Viet place in Chartwell plaza. Prices are on par with all the new Viet place, you're looking at minimum $18 per entree and $11-$12 for appetizers. The staff are very attentive and nice, they always checked back on our table every so often to make sure we were good and had everything we needed. We ordered the bun rieu (sans deep fried shoft shell crab) and house special pho. The pho had a nice rice broth, deep with flavour and topping ratio to noodles were good. The bun rieu was less flavourful. I found the broth lacking in the crab flavour it should normally have. The amount of toppings it came with were good so it made up for the less flavourful broth. The restaurant was very nicely decorated with lots of vintage decor. Wouldn't mind coming back again to try their broken rice and vermicelli dishes!

TLDR - Exceptional Bun Bo Hue! We passed by Di An on November 16, and we were attracted by the 15% soft opening discount. We ordered 2 phos and a Pad Thai. Food - Bun Bo Hue was exceptional. The broth was rich, the noodle ample and the ingredients authentic. The warmth and homeiness came through. The regular pho tasted good. The Pad Thai tasted average, but it won me over with loads of ingredients. Portion of all dishes were good, especially the Bun Bo Hue. Service and ambiance - they were fine enough. It was soft opening with 15% discount. The place was packed, so the food was slow to come out. I am sure the speed will improve when the discount is gone.

Dropped in for a quick bite - we tried the pho (decent, broth was ok but beef was delicious), the chicken and rice (this was excellent! especially the cold chicken salad on the side), and the mango salad (the shrimp on this one was really good). Overall was a great meal and I would come back for that chicken and rice!

The noodles had a good bounce which I liked and the broth, although a little bit weak was very clean and had a good taste. You get lots of meat so the ratio is very good. I also got a pork and pate banh mi. This was nicely toasted and again you get a ton of meat ($8.99). All in all without drinks lunch cost me about $35 + tip, but these days everything is expensive. I would go again as the food is good. Will definitely try the pork bones with all that meat next time.

A few highlights from my recent visit: - The manager at the cashier is super friendly! - Food (especially pho) comes out quickly, tasty, & satisfying. The broth is rich though looks unassuming at first. Portions are reasonable and balanced, meaning that you're not getting a few slices of beef to a large amount of noodles. - Price wise, it's reasonable (though I wouldn't say it's the cheapest pho in the area, but the quality is there!). Note that they do have a 1hr seating time limit, which I appreciate because it probably helps shorten the wait time :)

As soon as I walked into the doors, the aroma of the pho overtook my senses and my mouth was already salivating and my palate was excited. Everyone knows the rule of eating pho is eat the first spoon of broth alone. After I sipped my first spoon, I squeezed a bit of lime and dived in for more. The broth was perfectly seasoned and had a depth of flavor that was evident that the broth was made over several hours. Just a nice simply beef noodle soup that reminded me of my childhood eating pho at home. It's very rare to say pho at a restaurant is comparable to one made at home.
