I'm from Los Angeles and we do have a lot of Vietnamese restaurants for us to choose from as well, and I am a self proclaimed foodie and travel a lot globally . And I can say that I've had great experiences with Vietnamese restaurants already before. But what set this place apart is that the staff/Management/server and I would shout out to Lang because he truly knows the definition of Customer Service. I chose to come here along with my niece and her family that live locally because this place Pho In Love was highly recommended by a staff that claims to be a foodie like me at the Sheraton hotel lounge. And when we looked at the reviews, it had some amazing reviews to back it up. Food was amazing, all the ingredients were fresh, portions are generous, and they were all as expected very flavorful. Ambience is cute and very clean. Parking is an easy access. And above all, you feel so very welcome upon entering this place. I'm so glad we tried it because it definitely met our expectations and beyond. I apologize that I don't have enough photos because we thoroughly enjoyed the food that we forgot to take photos. I was honestly pretty disappointed with my experience at Pho in Love. The broth was very bland and lacked the rich, deep flavor you'd expect from a good pho place and I am extremely thirsty afterward I think too much MSG. The meat-to-noodle ratio was also way off for $21 for a large bowl, it was mostly noodles with barely any meat. Compared to other pho restaurants in the area, this one really falls short in both quality and value. The overall taste honestly reminded me of instant pho you can buy at Costco rather than freshly made restaurant pho. I came here thinking it was still Ngon Corner. Only when I opened the menu did I realize they have either changed owners or rebranded. Either way, The raw beef and beef balls pho was still awesome. I went here for a quick lunch and ordered their bun Bo hue special. It was very tasty and delicious. The food came out quickly and it tasted fresh. The service was prompt. The only drawback was the size and prices. I didn't know that it could be almost $25 for a large bowl so I thought the prices were a bit steep. Location/Service This spot is located in the same plaza as Issan Der, a little north of Highway 7 along Leslie. Parking is extremely limited and you may need to go to the next plaza or commercial building next to it. Do be careful and follow the signs cause there are patrons monitoring. Interior is pretty big, definitely can accommodate large groups. Friendly staff and friendly to speak with - order came quickly as wlel. Food There's a wide variety of selections available - with the typical pho, vermicelli noodles, rice and appetizer dishes. Each dish I find it very flavourful and pack with ingredients and quantity. If there's something unique you need to try - it's their chicken pho or their chicken rice. The rice version is kind of like hainanese chicken and it is amazingly good. I don't think I've seen other viet places doing this dish. The chicken was soft to chew and not too oily. The rice was fragrant and everything pairs well together with the beansprouts and sauce. This place is pretty busy each time I went and I can see why - definitely one to check out. Prices aren't as expensive in comparison to Linh Ahn or Pho Ahn Vu. read more

Fantastic authentic viet restaurant. While the prices are a bit on the higher end, it's worth it for the quality. The resto is pretty large and nicely decorated. Tables are clean and the staff are super friendly. We ordered the bun bo hue and the bun rieu. The bun bo hue was loaded with toppings and the herbs that came with it were super fresh. Flavour profile was perfect, broth was rich and it was too spicy. The bun rieu was amazing as well. It too came loaded with toppings with a very fragrant and rich broth. Ambiance - 4/5: they have Vietnam style designs. The chandelier is nice but seems out of place with the decor. Service - 5/5: they promptly sat us. They also checked on us a few times. I guess their sharing bowls are breakable. The customers next to us dropped it and shattered everywhere with a piece flying over to our spot. They quickly helped the customer and cleaned up the shards. Food - 4/5: wanted to order their S1 - vermicelli with fried tofu, pork belly, cinnamon pork, hsm and fermented fish paste but unfortunately the item was not available. So I ordered the item they are known for - P9 (chicken pho). My order came first. I didn't eat it for a bit as I was waiting for my partner's order. The servers encouraged me to eat first. Despite eating it late, the soup was very flavourful. The chicken was tender and succulent, even the chicken breast. I know how hard it is to cook chicken breast so I was thoroughly impressed. The noodle still had a nice bounciness/chew to it. I just wish there was more chicken. There are bones in the chicken so be careful when eating. There was a lot of noodles in comparison to the chicken. I also ordered a vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It gave me the caffeine kick but I found it to be overall on the bitter side. This was my first time visiting this new Vietnamese spot in Richmond Hill, located in a small plaza near Hwy 7 and Leslie. Parking is limited and can be a bit of a hassle, especially during lunch or dinner rush as there's often a wait for a spot. I arrived just before noon and was only the second customer at the time. But within 45 minutes, the place filled up quickly. By the time I was getting ready to leave, a group was already waiting for my table. The interior is nicely decorated with cultural touches that reflect Vietnamese heritage. A TV on the wall played educational clips about Vietnam, which I thought was a thoughtful detail. Unfortunately, I couldn't really enjoy it - which leads me to my biggest issue with the visit eh oh was the noise level. It got extremely loud as the restaurant filled up, to the point where I had to raise my voice just to talk to the person sitting across from me. It's definitely not the ideal spot for a quiet catch-up. Service was minimal but polite. Staff brought us tea and menus and served our food. They were friendly, but hard to flag down--partly because of the noise, which made it difficult to get their attention unless we made direct eye contact or approached them ourselves. We ordered a small special pho, which was delicious and came with a generous portion of meat. We also got the shrimp fresh rolls, which were fresh and well-wrapped. The peanut sauce was especially good--thick, tasty, and topped with crushed peanuts. I did wish they offered a shrimp and pork combo option like many other places. I also had the iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It was bold and flavorful, not too sweet, but the portion felt small for the $8 price. Overall, while the food was tasty and the atmosphere had charm, the high prices and overwhelming noise level left me unsure if I'd come back. Another pho craving brought us all the way to Ngon Corner in R. Hill last week. Located just off Leslie st, NGV is tucked away towards the back of the building in a busy food strip mall. We were greeted by a very friendly server and seated promptly. Our server had a special recommendation for their chicken noodle soup and I had to give it a try. He said it was better than what he used to have back home in Vietnam and I was intrigued. My dining companions ordered the usual pho and bun dishes that were all above average. Pho tai had so much tender rare beef, my daughter (12) could barely finish hers. This is saying a lot as she usually wants extra meat (in her small pho). My chicken noodle soup tasted pretty basic at first, but after adding all the herbs and pickled garlic and fresh chillies, my bowl transformed into something totally delicious and definitely not like anything I've had at any Vietnamese restos. Lots of bone-in chicken pieces (a lot like Hainese chicken) sat atop of large mound of fresh noodles and I had a hard time finishing the bowl. We got rare beef take out. The serving looks decent. I like the instruction slips making sure we know to bring the soup to a rolling boil and pour it into the noodle and rare beef to properly cook them for food safety. Service was great, they made double sure we pour in boiling soup so we don't get sick. Why the three stars then?? Soup base. Give the food is fresh, the single most important thing for a bowl of pho is the soup base. These are bland and leaves me wanting. If the business is reading this, please take note and really work on your soup base so they are tasty. Skip the extra greens that are not normally part of the garnish. Fix the soup. Located in Richmond Hill in the Fusion Park plaza at the corner of Leslie and East Pearce. The parking lot is not very big and can get congested during the prime meal times. The shop is bright and plenty of seating options to accommodate any party size. The food... definitely bring your appetite as the menu is extensive and everything was yummy. I think this might be my new fave pho place. Tried it out on a whim w/ my gf. The place has only been open a couple months (that's why I saw so the doors closed but so much renovation going on). The inside is actually quite spacious and fits many tables. Parking lot is a nightmare because it shares the same lot as Isaan Der right next door and Jumbo Lobster Port hired parking security enforcers now for their side of the lot. The ventilation was cool and refreshing. We were sat in the corner but at no point did we ever feel like the heat was unbearable. Service was also on point. The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered P7 while my gf ordered P1. The P7 is HUGE which is right up my alley. You get 2 beef ribs and a separate bowl of beef bones to chow down with your noodles. My gf and I simultaneously took the first sip and we agreed that the broth is super clean. Pho Anh Vu down the road has been our #1 for the last little while but lately we feel their broth has dropped slightly in quality (sometimes there will be a slight layer of oil on top of the broth so inconsistency has been creeping up). Since we visited during the grand opening period, we got 10% off (I believe they've extended this grand opening discount until Oct but don't quote me if you arrive and it isn't true lol). As of time of writing this review I believe I am the first non-5 star reviewer with only a lowly 4 out of 5. My other half and I came on a weekday for lunch and they were not packed so we were able to find parking and get seated quite quickly. This place is located on the east side of Leslie and Hwy 7 in a plaza. The menu was quite decent in terms of its offerings and did offer a few combinations of Vietnamese food that isnt usually offered. We were looking for a replacement for our go to place for Bun Bo Hue so both my wife and I got a bowl of this. Compared to our go to place though this Bun Bo Hue does fall second unfortunately. The broth was not as tangy and more on the sweeter side, not bad just unexpected. The ingredients were quite on par with our usual go to place but unfortunately the price and size of the bowl is where it fell short. For $17.50 for a small bowl we could have gone to another place for the same price but basically gotten a large (Pho Anh Vu down the street). Otherwise service was on point and attentive, seating was well spaced out, food came out in quick order and the menu had good variety. We would come back but I have to knock a star off as I found this place trying to be a very tiny bit pretentious in terms of pricing vs value. I recently visited the new Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond Hill, which is their second location in Ontario, with their first being in Mississauga. This was my first time here, and I tried the PHỞ SƯỜN BÒ XÍ QUÁCH. The portion was huge--definitely enough for two people to share. We also had the HUE STYLE BEEF SPECIAL, which had a nice kick of spice that I highly recommend if you can handle a bit of heat. Everything was excellent, from the food to the friendly service. First time visiting and they just opened a few months ago. The broth is full of flavour and has a well-balanced richness that pairs perfectly with the tender beef. I didn't feel thirsty afterward, which is always a good sign of a well-made broth. They also offer pickled garlic and chili peppers on the side, which elevate the experience. I was staying in Toronto for a few days. My sister found this pho place - we absolutely loved everything. This is a relatively new Vietnamese restaurant. Good noodle soups, beautiful and authentic decors, and the service is excellent. I have to mention this young enthusiastic guy, his name is Jonathan. Because of him, the way he introduced the food and the restaurant, it left us a very good impression about it. He recommended us the chicken noodle soup (I highly recommended it as well).
