Food is good. Order raw beef, brisket and meatballs with pho and it didn't disappoint. Soup was clear and flavourful. Meat was plenty but a bit tough or chewy. The sprouts and garnishes were fresh and plenty. I also had fried spring rolls. These were crisp and full of filling but just a little oily. The place is surprisingly spacious with interesting interior. Service was slow but it was because I was there midday. Overall a good place for a bowl of pho.

I came here thinking it was still Ngon Corner. Only when I opened the menu did I realize they have either changed owners or rebranded. Either way, The raw beef and beef balls pho was still awesome. There was an abundance of noodles and toppings. More than usual. So For that reason I highly recommend coming here for your Vietnamese fix. Not only was there an enormous amount of pho. The flavours and quality was also top notch. Price wise, it's very reasonable. No major change. I will definitely be back again.

I went here for a quick lunch and ordered their bun Bo hue special. It was very tasty and delicious. The food came out quickly and it tasted fresh. The service was prompt. The only drawback was the size and prices. I didn't know that it could be almost $25 for a large bowl so I thought the prices were a bit steep. The size was only slightly bigger than the small bowl in my opinion. At the end, it was very satisfying and I'd call it a spot that is a slightly upper scale Vietnamese cuisine restaurant.

Too many Vietnamese restaurants in Richmond hill and Markham this one doesn't stand out. Came here on a Sunday for dinner and it's pretty empty. There's this spicy soup rice noodle dish we ordered but I forgot the name. It's S2. It's alright. Enough spiciness. About $20 for large. Rare beef pho almost $18 for small. Beef was the best. It's tender. Noodles alright. But the soup was just lukewarm which to me is a big no. Actually same problem with S2. We also got a grilled chicken spring roll vermicelli for about $18. Taste pretty good. Spring roll was the best so hot and fresh and crispy. Grilled chicken also look very nice. Cash or debit only. There's cash discount.

Dropped by Ngon Corner on my own and ordered the Bun Bo Hue--what a pleasant surprise. The broth had impressive depth, rich and aromatic without being overpowering. Portion size was generous, with plenty of toppings to keep each bite interesting. The space is clean and unpretentious, with a relaxed vibe that makes solo dining feel comfortable. Definitely a hidden gem in Richmond Hill. I'll be back to explore more of the menu!

Location/Service This spot is located in the same plaza as Issan Der, a little north of Highway 7 along Leslie. Parking is extremely limited and you may need to go to the next plaza or commercial building next to it. Do be careful and follow the signs cause there are patrons monitoring. Interior is pretty big, definitely can accommodate large groups. Friendly staff and friendly to speak with - order came quickly as wlel. Food There's a wide variety of selections available - with the typical pho, vermicelli noodles, rice and appetizer dishes. Each dish I find it very flavourful and pack with ingredients and quantity. If there's something unique you need to try - it's their chicken pho or their chicken rice. The rice version is kind of like hainanese chicken and it is amazingly good. I don't think I've seen other viet places doing this dish. The chicken was soft to chew and not too oily. The rice was fragrant and everything pairs well together with the beansprouts and sauce. This place is pretty busy each time I went and I can see why - definitely one to check out. Prices aren't as expensive in comparison to Linh Ahn or Pho Ahn Vu.

Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food! Huge portions, clean & affordable pricing! Fast and friendly service. It is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of free parking. We arrived for dinner during Happy Hour (8pm to close, M-F only) and received a 15% discount regardless of cash or credit! But make sure you ask for it when checking out. Happy Hour late lunch 15% discount: M-F (2pm- 5pm) Other times: Cash discount of 10% discount. Restaurant has two washrooms (one for each gender) & Handicap accessible. Pho soup was aromatic and light tasting. It was perfectly balanced. The Grilled Pork & Fried Spring Roll & Sugar Cane Shrimp with Vermicelli (Noodles are served w/o soup and warm) was well paired and flavorful. It is perfect for eating on a hot summer day. The Vietnamese spring roll was super crispy and flaky. OMG, I want to eat there again just thinking about it. First time here and it won't be the last! Highly recommend!! Super tasty!!

Fantastic authentic viet restaurant. While the prices are a bit on the higher end, it's worth it for the quality. The resto is pretty large and nicely decorated. Tables are clean and the staff are super friendly. We ordered the bun bo hue and the bun rieu. The bun bo hue was loaded with toppings and the herbs that came with it were super fresh. Flavour profile was perfect, broth was rich and it was too spicy. The bun rieu was amazing as well. It too came loaded with toppings with a very fragrant and rich broth. We're looking forward to coming back to try their other dishes! The only downside is that when the plaza gets busy, it's quite hard to find parking. Best to come on a weekday or early on a weekend if you can.

Service was good and it was fast. Ambiance - has Vietnamese feel decor. They also have a chandelier. There are lots of smaller tables that can be recalibrate to accommodate larger groups. Food - food was good. I got the tomato crab paste vermicelli soup. The soup base has strong tomato broth. I was surprised the Vietnamese sausage was rolled up. It was a big portion and I was very full. Overall: 4/5

Wanted to try a new pho place and saw good reviews about this place. It's in a small plaza so parking can be a little difficult. The place also filled up as time went on. Ambiance - 4/5: they have Vietnam style designs. The chandelier is nice but seems out of place with the decor. Service - 5/5: they promptly sat us. They also checked on us a few times. I guess their sharing bowls are breakable. The customers next to us dropped it and shattered everywhere with a piece flying over to our spot. They quickly helped the customer and cleaned up the shards. Food - 4/5: wanted to order their S1 - vermicelli with fried tofu, pork belly, cinnamon pork, hsm and fermented fish paste but unfortunately the item was not available. So I ordered the item they are known for - P9 (chicken pho). My order came first. I didn't eat it for a bit as I was waiting for my partner's order. The servers encouraged me to eat first. Despite eating it late, the soup was very flavourful. The chicken was tender and succulent, even the chicken breast. I know how hard it is to cook chicken breast so I was thoroughly impressed. The noodle still had a nice bounciness/chew to it. I just wish there was more chicken. There are bones in the chicken so be careful when eating. There was a lot of noodles in comparison to the chicken. I also ordered a vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It gave me the caffeine kick but I found it to be overall on the bitter side. Overall: 4/5 - would come back and try other dishes.

9/10 for the pho dac biet- great broth flavour, lots of protein and good size and value. The vermicelli had good flavour as well but would give it a 7/10 because it was quite small in size (not a lot of vermicelli- half the bottom is veggies) in terms of value. Service was fast and the place was quite packed on a Sunday night. Would return to try a few other dishes.

This was my first time visiting this new Vietnamese spot in Richmond Hill, located in a small plaza near Hwy 7 and Leslie. Parking is limited and can be a bit of a hassle, especially during lunch or dinner rush as there's often a wait for a spot. I arrived just before noon and was only the second customer at the time. But within 45 minutes, the place filled up quickly. By the time I was getting ready to leave, a group was already waiting for my table. The interior is nicely decorated with cultural touches that reflect Vietnamese heritage. A TV on the wall played educational clips about Vietnam, which I thought was a thoughtful detail. Unfortunately, I couldn't really enjoy it - which leads me to my biggest issue with the visit eh oh was the noise level. It got extremely loud as the restaurant filled up, to the point where I had to raise my voice just to talk to the person sitting across from me. It's definitely not the ideal spot for a quiet catch-up. Service was minimal but polite. Staff brought us tea and menus and served our food. They were friendly, but hard to flag down--partly because of the noise, which made it difficult to get their attention unless we made direct eye contact or approached them ourselves. We ordered a small special pho, which was delicious and came with a generous portion of meat. We also got the shrimp fresh rolls, which were fresh and well-wrapped. The peanut sauce was especially good--thick, tasty, and topped with crushed peanuts. I did wish they offered a shrimp and pork combo option like many other places. I also had the iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It was bold and flavorful, not too sweet, but the portion felt small for the $8 price. Overall, while the food was tasty and the atmosphere had charm, the high prices and overwhelming noise level left me unsure if I'd come back. I personally feel you can find the same quality, if not better, for less. They do offer a 5% discount when you pay with cash.

Recently came back w/ my parents as this has now become one of their de facto go-to's for viet food in Richmond Hill along w/ Ngon Corner (replacing Green Lemongrass). They are SOOO busy now as they have a loyal student customer base during the school months (conveniently being right next to Bayview Secondary). They run student deals as well as lunch specials. On this visit, I opted for curry beef brisket rice as my mom told me that she tried it w/ my dad and they vouched for it. The curry was quite flavourful and there were a LOT of big brisket chunks running through the curry so I was pleasantly surprised. Got an additional iced lemon tea for no extra charge which was so awesome! The staff recognize my parents now because they've been going quite regularly lately lol. It's flavourful, both fatty and lean, tender, juicy... basically perfect for the grill. There's an option to add an egg, which I skipped. The dish comes with a small salad drizzled in balsamic vinegar, plus some pickled daikon radish and carrots. A small dish of sweet and tangy fish sauce is included too, perfect for pouring over the rice. Fantastic flavors all around. I cleared the plate and would definitely order it again, though they have a lot of other dishes I want to try too. They're currently running a promo where you get a free drink with any order! Not advertised anywhere (from what I saw), they just casually mentioned it after we ordered. The iced lemon tea was refreshing, with sliced lemons on top, and served in a large cup, which I highly appreciate. Not one of those tiny takeout ones that's gone in a few sips. Service is very friendly. Lots of free parking. Just a heads up, they only accept debit or cash.

Tips: - This place takes debit and cash only…read more - The hot tea is scorching hot. A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

The biggest problem is the inconsistent quality--some dishes are excellent, while others are rather ordinary, even making you feel like "something else tastes better."
