    Spaghetti and meatball

The service was very good. Our server was friendly and happy and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was VERY clean including that bathrooms. We had a shrimp app which had amazing flavor and was cooked to perfection. My husband wanted chicken parm which wasn't on the menu but they made it for him anyways- he said it was okay. I had the spicy spaghetti with meatballs and it was yummy. The spaghetti was home made fresh. They also have an attached market where they sell pastas and sauce and meat.

Truly beautiful place, it was such a nicely decorated place, makes a great location for date night or celebrations. The specials were great and they had quite a lot of variety. The short rib special for the appetizer was delicious, wouldn't change a thing! The NY strip steak with the risotto was another special we ordered. The risotto was perfect, the steak was cooked a bit more than our requested temperature and could have used a bit more seasoning. The Branzino special was great and it came with home made spaghetti which was the real star of the dish. Our waiter, Yoshi, was attentive and made the night wonderful!

Wonderful dinner! I had heard about this restaurant from several friends who love the homemade pasta so I decided to try it for myself. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the building was a very plain building with a small parking lot in the back. We had early reservations so it was no problem. From the back, there are two entrances - one for the restaurant and one for the meat market. We started with the restaurant. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a lovely woman who seated us and was also our server. I didn't catch her name but she did everything she could to make our evening wonderful - including asking the chef to make a dish of items that I wanted but that combination wasn't on the menu! We started with drinks and appetizers - we had the figs wrapped in bacon and the meatballs. Delicious. My entree was a concoction of linguini, clams and muscles with a spicy red sauce - you won't find that on the menu but I loved it. One friend had the salmon which looked delicious (large portion) and the other friend had the gnocchi. Of course we had to have dessert - the mousse was delicious as was the cookie with some kind of chocolate cream inside and the pistachio ice cream. After eating, we went to the other side of the building to the store and meat market. They have some wonderful things to purchase and take home. Pastas, cheeses, meats, seasonings, etc. Tonight, the attendant was serving samples of cheese - my friend tried it and loved it so she was given a block to take home for free! Wow -- - take home gifts :) The menu has lots of wonderful items - I'll be back to try some more! My only criticism is that the tables were a little small - - maybe even too close together. It felt cramped and we even had to move our chairs a time or two to let people in or out of their table.

Braised lamb shank with parppardelle pasta and grilled asparagus - special

Local and hidden gem - right on Atlantic Blvd! I can't tell you the number of times I have driven past Di Farina Pasta, (I'll give you a hint, 3 times a day since they've opened) and I am even more sad for myself at how long I have been missing out. The restaurant is unassuming - sitting right on Atlantic Blvd a block west of Federal Highway. A valet is out front ($7 at time of posting) which is perfect as the location doesn't have a traditional parking lot entrance. (There may be additional parking options, but we chose to valet). The restaurant is quaint, with 20-30 tables total and a handful of bar seating. It reminds me somewhat of restaurants in NY (a large dining room by NY standards). The staff were all very welcoming and pleasant, with a lovely "buonasera" greeting as you walk in! We opted for an early dinner so basically had the entire staff to ourselves for most of our meal. We started with the Grilled Octopus and the Salmon Carpaccio special. The grilled octopus was topped with a delicious herby sauce and set upon crispy potatoes. The octopus was deliciously tender and lightly charred, spectacular. The salmon carpaccio was 2 day marinated with beet and lemon. A delicious and light start to our meal; refreshing and surprising! We chose the lamb shank special and the Asiago truffle gnocchi as our entrees. The lamb shank was braised and semi-reminiscent of a Sunday roast (flavor wise) and incredibly fall off the bone succulent. The parppadelle soaked up the delicious sauce/juices making it the perfect side. This is a home run and something I hope they have when I come again! The gnocchi... oh baby the gnocchi. Soft, melt in your mouth pillows of ricotta goodness, bathing in the most light Asiago sauce that packed a kick of truffle. Not over-powering, but a perfect balance. Somehow, we managed some room for dessert and went with the cannolis and an espresso for myself! I love a good cannoli and let me tell you.. these were good. The shell was crisp and delicate and the filling was such a balance of not too "cheesy" and not too sweet. A balance most cannolis can only dream of. Seriously, THIS is what a cannoli should be. Take notes people. After dinner and dessert we wandered over to the meat shop which is stocked full of meats, groceries, and a full fresh (make at home) pasta bar! A must shop for prime meats! Overall, a reservation at Di Farina is bound to impress. The quaint and cost atmosphere and the absolutely delicious menu options make this restaurant a true star of South Florida dining options!

Absolutely delicious, we live in the area and always bring guests along with us. Everytime we go, the service is excellent, the food is delicious and the wine selection is amazing. We love to go and highly recommend. Most of all, we love that certain dishes can be adjusted with recommendations from the staff. The Crab ravioli has become a new favorite of mine, it is creamy & rich.

Di Farina's was easy to find on busy Atlantic Ave with parking out back. The large restaurant had a big bar, posters of pasta & fresh moss on the walls. Rocco, our waiter was knowledgeable & on point. The extensive menu was tantalizing & today's specials were mouth watering. Warm rolls with blue cheese butter came out quickly. We started by sharing an antipasto & as an entree shared a meat lasagna. We ended our shared lunch with a delicious tiramisu. After lunch we went next door to purchase fresh pastas & meats.

If you're looking for delicious, fresh Italian cuisine Di Farina is the place. We started with the Grilled Octopus which was super tender and grilled to perfection. This is a great starter dish to share because it was also served with a nice compliment of roasted potatoes and sautéed kale. For the main course we ordered Black Seafood Linguine. This dish has so much flavor! The black ink linguini was topped with shrimp, mussels, a lobster tail, and served with a garlic, lobster sauce. Wow! This is a heavenly combination that any seafood lover would enjoy. We felt as if we were the only ones being taken care of because the staff was so attentive. Thank you to Marcello and staff for making our experience one we will remember!

Fantastic selection of meats including Spain rabbit, tomahawk steaks, ground lamb, ossobuco, veal, etc. They make the best fresh pastas even pasta with squid ink or red pepper pasta. Their pastas make all the difference in a great Italian dinner. They run a restaurant onsite as well. Check them out!

This place is great. Pasta being homemade is such a game changer and it was absolutely delicious. The waiter recommended a good wine pairing with our meals. And they had a ton of specials. You will definitely have a great Italian meal if you come here. We did have to wait a bit for our food to come out but it was worth the wait honestly. Can't even be mad about it.

Stopped by Di Farina Pasta for lunch. I was given a warm greeting upon entrée. Di Farina Pasta is not only a restaurant, but an Italian market as well loaded with all kinds of pastas and oils. But not only that, it has a meat section too. The restaurant is a large and open area having a sort of nice airy feeling about it. Their menu is immense with every offering an Italian-loving palate might desire, with some on the more unique side like a WAGYU STEAK MILANESE or SQUID INK LOBSTER AGNOLOTTI. Then, a great wine list too with one of my Italian favorites, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Parol Vin. But, as this was just a quick lunch, I had their EGGPLANT PARMIGGIANA MEDALLIONS consisting of breaded eggplant rounds stacked with layers of homemade tomato sauce and melted mozzarella. Which was the best, most tasty eggplant parm ever. Meanwhile, my beloved had one of their beef and one of their ham and cheese empanadas which he found to be excellent.

This Lobster Agnolotti was not what I expected.

I want to like Di Farina because it just seems like it has so much potential but it's the type of restaurant that sets you up for a great experience but ends up being disappointing. Perhaps its appeal is the adjacent small market or that they make the pasta in house or its simple but nice dining room. What I did like was the waiter's wine selections and the service but as in a previous visit I found much of the food to be underwhelming and while nothing was terrible nothing was memorable. A Braised Beef with Pappardelle had a dull sauce, Pumpkin Ravioli also was forgettable and flavor (of any kind) was missing and a pasta with seafood (mussels, shrimp, lobster) looked great but the seafood wasn't very good. Parking is free and easy.

I've been passing by this local place for months and finally decided as a new california to try restaurant near me. This place is pleasantly decorated with nice white.Finishing simple tables, a simple bar.And what seems like a traditional Italian food?Personally I wouldn't know but i'm now finding out. The order amounts are nice and small. Not the typical American too much on your plate scenario so that you can sit back.Eat ask for dessert and still feel full but not bloated. I highly recommend that salmon is properly cooked. However, as a big guy, I probably could eat too.But the whole idea is not too. It's to come back. My guest's pasta sauce was very nice.It wasn't heavy. It was complimentary to the pasta and it's probably what I will order Next time when I go back. This place is just far enough away from the water so that there's not a regular amount of tourist that comes there. Most traffic seems local. They have a valley service when they are full and it's always a good opportunity to get what you want when you want with enough seating if you take the time to reserve a seat. I recommend this local restaurant for the food. The next I will review their meat cuts.

Our group of 10 or so started outside but it was hot and there wasn't any breeze, so we relocated inside. Our server, Fadi, followed us and provided excellent service. He was personable and really set the tone for friendly and professional service. My husband enjoyed their pinot noir and I loved the Don Julio 1942. We each had salmon - it was juicy and well seasoned. I had the spinach as the side and both were good just know that the spinach is generously dressed with oil. We split carrot cake with our friends - we ordered a slice for each end of the table and people who didn't want to have any were having fork fights with others! The cake is served with ice cream and whipped cream. Definitely have a bit with the ice cream. Their espresso is fresh and strong. We both wanted to lick the inside of the cups but restrained ourselves! Just know that the ambiance, service and food quality ain't cheap. You can self-park, so that'll save ya money, but seriously, every once in a while you want to have your high expectations met and Miraggio can easily do it.

I went through the reviews and pictures extensively! Let me just say, not a single lie was told about the greatness that is La Perla! This is going to be a long review! Let's start with the service since that's a huge dealbreaker for me regardless of food taste. We had one main server, but another was assisting as well. I hate that I didn't ask their names again to include it in this review. Both women were extremely helpful, they checked on us the perfect amount, made sure we were satisfied, and even helped in our decision making. Not only were they extremely professional but they were super kind and honestly, both of them were very funny and made the night quite enjoyable without even trying; I could tell it was just their natural personality shining through their commendable service. Now on to the food. We ordered appetizers, entree, and dessert. We wanted help choosing our wine, and based off a couple questions, the selections of red our server recommended was very nice. The bruschetta was the absolute best I have EVER had! I am talking about an explosion of flavor that I didn't expect! I don't like fried foods but I did still enjoy my boyfriend's calamari/zucchini appetizer. He himself devoured it and said it was amazing. Our entree's were delicious and the ingredients were so fresh. Dessert was fantastic! I ordered the cannolis since they're a favorite of mine, however it is my birthday so they also brought out a cream puff and to my absolute surprise I loved it more than the cannoli (which was still super tasty). The restaurant is small and intimate. I saw a review saying it was noisy, but honestly you can't go to an Italian restaurant and expect it to be quiet. They foster an atmosphere where you want to eat, chat, and be merry. The "noise" was sounds of happy patrons enjoying their meals and their company. Nothing to complain about at all! As we ate I noticed that the staff turned over the tables very quickly. That was actually interesting to witness; as a group leaves, the staff ensures to promptly clean the table and reset it and as soon as you turn your head it's as if no one had dined there yet. Loved that, because who wants to be seated next to someone's leftovers? Haha. Overall, I loved my time here as well as my meal. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to others and I want to thank the staff for the amazing dinner experience!

The bruschetta was excellent, honestly some of the best I've had, and the molten lava cake was absolutely to die for. The flounder special was also loved by everyone at our table who ordered it. That said, there were a few misses. My mom had called a week ahead to let them know her husband was vegan, and the person she spoke with was very kind and said they would speak with the chef and be prepared. When we arrived, the waitress acknowledged they knew we had a vegan guest, but the option offered was simply spaghetti with vegetables. When it came out, it was just plain pasta without vegetables. They apologized and corrected it, but after the advance call, we expected something a bit more thoughtful. The restaurant was also very loud and crowded, and with our larger table, people on opposite ends had to practically yell to hear each other. The staff seemed stretched thin, so service was not as attentive as it could have been, though we did appreciate that we never felt rushed. Food-wise, the bruschetta and desserts were excellent, the meatballs were just okay, and while my mom loved the rack of lamb, I found mine a bit overdone and overpowered by the sauce. We were also disappointed they were out of branzino, since several people in our party had planned to order it. Overall, La Perla has a lot of charm, very good food, and a warm, authentic feel. I'd happily go back, but probably with a smaller party and maybe on a less busy night.

I remember looking up local places that had freshly made Italian way way back and this was one of the spots. What a joy to have homemade authentic Italian pasta nearby! Tonight we came in during the Labor Day holiday weekend on Sunday night with our toddler. Judging by the reviews I was on the fence about this being a date night or trying to bring the kiddo but I was feeling adventurous. We lucked out- no reservation; walked in with a toddler and it they sat us in one of the back rooms with a big party table- perfect. Bring on the large group who will be living it up family style and louder than us. A beautiful interior, with winding rooms to section off different areas. The front area more well lit, a mid section with the bar and the back room for a large party. Every space separated with rows of wine which they are very well versed in. That must be why they aren't just called 'Pasta...' The actually ended up being super toddler friendly but I wouldn't recommend to any ol' kids. It's intimate and very date night style restaurant- but they were more than accommodating. Our daughter got a high chair, a gold chalice for water and even a plate of homemade pasta with butter. The staff was very friendly to her and everyone said 'ciao bella' which she loved. On to the adults, my husband and I got cocktails- both of them were outstanding- my husband got an old fashioned and I got a gin drink with rosemary infused gin with a bubble on top. It was beautiful. They were so delicious. My dish was the Pappardelle al Sugo di Cinghiale. Pasta with wild boar sauce, outstanding- perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Meat just fell apart. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the charcuterie selection was excellent. For entrées, we shared the wild boar ragù, pumpkin ravioli with sausage, and the ossobuco. Each dish showcased the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients. The wild boar ragù was rich and comforting, the pumpkin ravioli struck a great balance of sweet and savory, and the osso buco was tender and flavorful. Our waiter was fantastic, offering thoughtful wine pairing suggestions that complemented the meal perfectly. I make a point to come back at least once a year, and every visit reminds me why.
