    Limoncello cake is so good
    Michelle F.

I really wanted to eat here. I love the name of the place. I liked that it was on the water. Free parking is a good thing. The restaurant is really attractive. It looks great and I thought it looked better and different somehow from what I saw online. We got there early so they were not busy. Derek was our server and he was very polite and came around just the amount of times we needed him. I think he is an awesome server. The bread was served warm with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I liked that combination. Our entrees came out pretty fast. Maybe 12 to 15 minutes after we ordered. This makes me think the food is not freshly made. I would be happier waiting for my food. I ordered the penne alla gigi. The portion was huge!!! The flavor tasted really off. I absolutely love Italian food and am usually pretty forgiving if the food is not "amazing" The sauce was not good on this dish. I have never tasted anything like it.. The pancetta did not have much flavor. I sampled the chicken parmigiana and the spaghetti. The chicken parmesan was pretty good. It was cheesy. The sauce for the spaghetti was mediocre. I forgot to mention both dishes came out really hot which was appreciated. I ordered the limoncello cake and this was phenomenal. I thought it looked too yellow when it was placed in front of me. The taste was so delicious. It was not overly sweet, just perfect. I loved the whipped cream. My friend ordered the Ice Cream Sunday which is vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. I sampled this too and it was ok, nothing special. Without the excellent service, views and just beauty of the restaurant this would have been 2 stars. My visit ended on the right note with the limoncello cake. In reality, I just wanted a delicious meal. I did not receive that and I did leave mostly disappointed. :(

3/20/26- 4:00 pm Yiannis and his brother are incredible professionals! Always attentive service - if I could give 10 Stars I would! The charming Hostess is always smiling and accommodating! I came for my formal dinner- as a widow it's always difficult to actually ask for a table for an early dinner. I try to only eat before they get busy. I ordered my usual Chardonnay and wanted the Ribeye with sautéed spinach instead of potatoes. Ask for it Pittsburgh style medium rare. I had to ask them to cook it a bit more for me and they quickly accommodated. The cooked it a few minutes and It came out perfectly. Thank you. I asked for my 2nd glass of Chardonnay to enjoy with my dessert. I've tried almost all here and never tried their Tiramisu! OMG!! Absolutely creamy and delicious! Another great experience ! The view is amazing ! Thank you!

Great outdoor views of the intercoastal! We like to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Today was a little cold, but there are also heaters. Up first, I had a wedge salad. It was a monster for $14. I liked it. For an entree I had the $29 Baby Back Ribs! Super yummy! The meat falls off the bone, moist, and there wasn't excessive sauce. Extremely good considering we aren't in Texas or Kansas City. Mom had a $20 Margherita pizza. She got it well done which is much better than not well done. This helps make sure the toppings don't immediately fall off the pizza when you pick it up. Very nice spot for lunch. I come when I visit my parents in Pompano!

FANTASTIC!! Party of 14! We absolutely enjoyed our entrees. Our server, Emma, was AWESOME. Emma was very patient and had a positive disposition. There was a very nice (tall) gentleman assisting too but I didn't get his name-he was super nice with a great sense of humor! A great big thank you to the General Manager! He is the BEST! He is very accommodating and extremely nice with a pleasant disposition about him! The valet staff are very nice. All valet staff should be this way! All had smiles. Everyone at Miraggio's made us feel like we were VIPs! We're already making plans to return!

It seems like a lot of you are disappointed with the food that is served here. We were not. We went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised , pretty quickly . Now I did have another gift card that I won once again from Instagram, which helps my wallet , but doesn't change my palate. I made a reservation for 4 , on the outside patio for 7pm Saturday night. We were running a little late , so I called and let them know. They were very accommodating. We had a great outside table. We were greeted right away by our server , Morgan, who caught our vibe right away. We had a couple of cocktails before we arrived, we ordered a bottle of wine and a carpaccio, to start out. Morgan was very attentive and engaging. We did not wait long for our orders to arrive, I even told her that we are in no rush. The carpaccio was very good, as was the wine. I ordered the lobster ravioli , my wife ordered the chicken marsala, and my friends Mark and Maureen split a veal chop. I loved my ravioli, and I tasted the other meals as well. They both tasted pretty good. We were all very happy with our choices. Everything , including the beautiful weather was perfect. The restaurant was pretty packed by 8pm., inside and outside, so some people must like the quality of their food.

    LINGUINI & CLAMS

HUGE disappointment!! After reading several negative reviews we decided to try Miraggio anyway; boy did we make a BIG mistake!! We had reservations at 7:00 PM on a Friday night and when we walked into Miraggio the place was almost empty, on a Friday night?? There was a large party in the front of the restaurant and then about 3-4 tables occupied on the patio. That should have been our first clue, but no, we decided to give it a go. Making Italian food this bland really takes some work. My Italian grandmother would have been embarrassed to have this food called "Italian". The best thing we had during the meal was the two pizzas we ordered for starters, which were really good. For entrees, our table had: Chicken Marsala - probably the worst I've ever eaten, absolutely no flavor, a few thin slices of mushrooms, and a sauce that was more of glob of congealing mess. Chicken Parmigiana - thick breading with little flavor wrapped the unseasoned chicken and cover with Mozzarella, served with Pasta and Pomodoro sauce that was very bland. Linguini and Clams - the linguini was encircled by 9 very small clams (type unknown, but they had strange shells), nice thin slices of garlic atop the pasta along with some diced peppers and coved with olive oil. This was the best entree at the table. There are so many great Italian restaurants all along the coast and this isn't one of those. With the lack of patrons and subpar bland food I'd be shocked if they are here in a few months from now. So if you'd like to try Miraggio's I suggest you get there soon.

Dessert..not too strong in the dessert(but I guess that's a personal taste, tiramisu was delish though)

Found this place by looking on Apple Maps as I was searching for an ambiance restaurant by the water. And boy did this restaurant MORE than delivered not just the vacation mode it gave me as a local, but the food..I crave their eggplant appetizer in my sleep. I have reservations now for the third time and I just can't wait. Everything we ordered was simply delicious, together with the vibe and the excellent attentiveness of our waitresses all I can say is I was hoping to gate keep this restaurant() until I saw their 3.8 review and decided to say something since it's unfair.

This venue is beautiful and has a stunning location in the intracoastal . Service is warm and friendly and the food was delicious and very good quality. The lobster sandwiches were addicting and pizza was fabulous. Parking was valet and the restaurant seats 500! There is a happy hour menu with plenty of choices Going back soon!

Had lunch isdide on this windy afternoon. Beautiful huge restaurant with a great view of the intracoastal. Our server, ANGELO was AWESOME! Food was delicious from the bread, Ceasars salad, minestrone soup to the meatballs, chicken parm and my Mahi Mahi fish sandwich. A lovely lunch, this was our fifth lunch here and two times for dinner, I highly recommend!

Opening soon... upscale Italian on intracoastal.

We had a very nice lunch here. It was a glorious day, so we chose to sit outside on the back patio overlooking the intracoastal. The water was sparkling. It is located just south of the Atlantic Boulevard Bridge in Pompano Beach, so we also got to view the openings and closings of the bridge and the boats -- of all sizes -- pass by. There was a light breeze coming off the water and it was quite comfortable sitting outside under the covered terrace. We parked right outside. There's a large free parking lot. There were a few other parties seated outside, as well, and a group of folks at the outside bar, too. But the inside restaurant was pretty empty -- only one group of business folks. They have a special lunch menu, and we ordered from it. My husband chose a pasta dish, and I chose a sandwich. Both lunch specials came with a choice of soup or salad. We were brought rolls and dipping oil soon after we ordered, as well. My husband chose their Caesar salad to start. It was quite a large portion. For his pasta, he opted for their spaghetti pomodoro. He added a bit of cheese to it. The portion for the pasta was large, too. I had the soup to start. The minestrone was a large bowl packed with veggies and pasta. It was served piping hot. It was good. For my sandwich, I had their fish sandwich which was grilled mahi on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and onion, and a side of fries. It also was good. Service was wonderful throughout the meal. We were greeted on being seated and offered water(s). The server asked if we had any questions. After we ordered, she repeated it back to us. She even asked if we wanted the soup and salad first, which we did. We were given rolls right away to keep us busy while we waited for our meals. And she brought our drinks out pdq. When we got served our salad/soup, she came by to offer pepper and grated cheese. And when we got our entrees, she again offered grated cheese for my husband's pasta. We were not rushed at any point and the pace of the meal was exactly as it should have been. We were curious about the restaurant itself and wondered what had been there previously. We found out that the place had been built from scratch and took a number of years to do so -- including Pompano's tedious permitting processes. They used to have a place in Boca Raton and one of the gentlemen told us he used to work there so he was familiar with the background and gave us the scoop. This would be a nice place to bring guests/visitors. We plan on returning.

This place is fairly new and I did not know it existed as I did not make our lunch plans. It's a beautiful restaurant with great indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is right on the Intracoastal and is lovely. They have a regular menu and lunch specials menu as well. The lunch menu items come with either a choice of a salad or soup. I had the minestrone soup which was good and a mahi sandwich, which was super fesh and tasty. The service was very good. They have free parking right across the street in a shared outdoor parking lot.

Di Farina - A True Hidden Gem!…read more Visited Di Farina for a company dinner tonight, and I am so glad I did! This is one of those hidden gems you almost don't want to share, just so there's always a table waiting for you. We started with a spread of appetizers: grilled octopus, garlic shrimp, fried burrata with arugula, and perfectly layered potatoes topped with braised short rib and fonduta. Every single dish was incredible--I honestly can't pick a favorite, though the short ribs stole my heart. For mains, I had the osso buco with pappardelle (their pastas are all freshly made in-house, and you can taste the difference). Our table also enjoyed the branzino, which was deboned tableside, the massive squid ink seafood linguini (so loaded with seafood you could barely see the pasta), and a rich, creamy carbonara that was perfectly balanced. Desserts were the perfect finale: tiramisu, cheesecake, and a refreshing lemon sorbetto, each as good as the last. The service was flawless, and the entire staff is Italian, adding to the authentic charm of the experience. Di Farina has officially become my new go-to spot for Italian nights. 10/10 on food, service, and atmosphere--can't wait to return!

I went through the reviews and pictures extensively! Let me just say, not a single lie was told about the greatness that is La Perla! This is going to be a long review! Let's start with the service since that's a huge dealbreaker for me regardless of food taste. We had one main server, but another was assisting as well. I hate that I didn't ask their names again to include it in this review. Both women were extremely helpful, they checked on us the perfect amount, made sure we were satisfied, and even helped in our decision making. Not only were they extremely professional but they were super kind and honestly, both of them were very funny and made the night quite enjoyable without even trying; I could tell it was just their natural personality shining through their commendable service. Now on to the food. We ordered appetizers, entree, and dessert. We wanted help choosing our wine, and based off a couple questions, the selections of red our server recommended was very nice. The bruschetta was the absolute best I have EVER had! I am talking about an explosion of flavor that I didn't expect! I don't like fried foods but I did still enjoy my boyfriend's calamari/zucchini appetizer. He himself devoured it and said it was amazing. Our entree's were delicious and the ingredients were so fresh. Dessert was fantastic! I ordered the cannolis since they're a favorite of mine, however it is my birthday so they also brought out a cream puff and to my absolute surprise I loved it more than the cannoli (which was still super tasty). The restaurant is small and intimate. I saw a review saying it was noisy, but honestly you can't go to an Italian restaurant and expect it to be quiet. They foster an atmosphere where you want to eat, chat, and be merry. The "noise" was sounds of happy patrons enjoying their meals and their company. Nothing to complain about at all! As we ate I noticed that the staff turned over the tables very quickly. That was actually interesting to witness; as a group leaves, the staff ensures to promptly clean the table and reset it and as soon as you turn your head it's as if no one had dined there yet. Loved that, because who wants to be seated next to someone's leftovers? Haha. Overall, I loved my time here as well as my meal. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to others and I want to thank the staff for the amazing dinner experience!

The bruschetta was excellent, honestly some of the best I've had, and the molten lava cake was absolutely to die for. The flounder special was also loved by everyone at our table who ordered it. That said, there were a few misses. My mom had called a week ahead to let them know her husband was vegan, and the person she spoke with was very kind and said they would speak with the chef and be prepared. When we arrived, the waitress acknowledged they knew we had a vegan guest, but the option offered was simply spaghetti with vegetables. When it came out, it was just plain pasta without vegetables. They apologized and corrected it, but after the advance call, we expected something a bit more thoughtful. The restaurant was also very loud and crowded, and with our larger table, people on opposite ends had to practically yell to hear each other. The staff seemed stretched thin, so service was not as attentive as it could have been, though we did appreciate that we never felt rushed. Food-wise, the bruschetta and desserts were excellent, the meatballs were just okay, and while my mom loved the rack of lamb, I found mine a bit overdone and overpowered by the sauce. We were also disappointed they were out of branzino, since several people in our party had planned to order it. Overall, La Perla has a lot of charm, very good food, and a warm, authentic feel. I'd happily go back, but probably with a smaller party and maybe on a less busy night.

It has the best and freshest ingredients by far on any pizza I've ever had. The sausage was so good and you could tell the pizza was made tender love and care. This pizza to me is smack your mama level of pizza! My partners only complaint was that a little of my ingredients got on his side of the pizza. (More on this below.) Allergy - 10/10 The staff was considerate of my food allergies and friendly. I'm not sure if they have gluten free options as I don't have this allergy but I'm sure if you call a head they can answer any questions you may have. Environment / Ambiance - 10/10 The place is cute, comfortable, quant, and cozy. We didn't feel cramped and there was a steady stream of customers throughout our time there. Restrooms - There didn't appear to be any restrooms / we also didn't ask. I would say make sure you use the restroom before you go or order it for pickup and take it home with you. This is probably my biggest gripe. Being out of town not sure how common this is. Sensory - 10/10 Sight - the light level was well lit and not overwhelming. Clean and not overwhelming with lots of unnecessary items. Smell - clean and fermented pizza smell. Touch - the chairs were comfortable with some cloth fabrics. Sound - below Noise Level - 10/10 Place doesn't have any music playing which is what I prefer. I don't like to not be able to have conversation with others. LGBTQ+ Rating - 8/10 Me and my partner didn't receive any stares or any harassment or feel uncomfortable. No support signage visible. Would Be Back / Would Recommend - we ended up going back the next day. My partner and his mom ended up getting a cheese by themselves and I got the same as I got before. I do which they had smaller / individual size options. I would highly highly recommend this place to others as it was the best pizza I've had by far in my entire life (40 years). Total Score 9/10 4.75 / 5
