Don't use this business! A technician came to fix my oven under Whirlpool guarantee, he changed the panel but then couldn't plug in the chord back in the outlet. We couldn't even check if the oven now works. The technician said he was done and left with "good luck". We called customer service but they just don't care, saying this is our problem. We left 2 voice messages to the manager, but he never called back. I have never experienced anything like this in this country before. Such a shame! read more

What a nightmare! American Home Shield recommended (Herman Appliance Repair...I guess Diamond is the new or old name) this company to me to fix my washer machine. This review is based off of customer service alone and not the work of the technician. I'm hopeful the work the technician provided will last but that is yet to be determined! The "scheduler" as she called herself ensured the technician would be on time. I informed her that if he couldn't be on time it's fine...I would have AHS to send out another company because my daughter had to get to work by a certain time. As soon as I said that she said, "You are his first call. He will be there on time." Well, that didn't happen. I texted her 9:36 am and informed her that he hadn't arrived and that I would just request another company. He then called and said he would be at my home shortly (7-8 minutes). He arrived with a nasty attitude and clearly didn't care that he was being recorded by my Ring doorbell camera. He and his immature "scheduler" were recorded on my porch talking so much trash about our exchange as if I was the issue! Never again! read more

He called ahead to let me know he was close and showed up within the designated time frame. He was able to fix the problem within 15 minutes and even took the time to show me what the issue was. A technician came to my house it's OK yesterday and said he fixed my washing machine. I loaded it full of clothes and started a cycle. I came back down to put the clothes in the dryer and the washing machine was full of water. It hadn't agitated it didn't rinse it didn't drain it didn't spin. I called the company back to have the technician come out and fix it and they said I have to wait five more days with a washing machine full of dirty laundry just I'm supposed to just let it sit there for five days. My warranty company contacted them in May to fix my driver. The first tech came out and said it was the motor, he left they ordered the part. A second tech came out a couple of weeks later , he broke something else on the dryer while attempting to fix it, he then has to order the part he broke, they sent him back out on a third visit, dryer still not fixed and now they are claiming they have to order more parts and contact the manager in my area before they can reschedule a fourth visit to attempt to fix whatever issue they have come up with this time!!!!! read more

I paid $279 for them to replace a light in my frig. Supposedly service calls is $125, but at the end of the call the guy told me part is $93 (it sells for $20 on Amazon) and service is $189, and he was here for 10 min. And, no receipt. Called Maytag about getting our washer serviced. They contracted with this company. Advised me that the service fee would be $125 to come diagnose the problem. Fine. Guy comes out, leans against the washer for no more than ten minutes with an iPad to tell me it needs a new gear case and wash plate and the quote would be $638.00. The guy didn't take anything a part to visibly inspect anything. All computerized crap. my husband then decided to take the washer a part after watching a you tube video, ordered a $10 part from Amazon and would t you know the washer is working fine now... Ricardo V arrived to repair our refrigerator with knowledge and a good idea of what part needed replacement. He diagnosed the problem quickly, installed the replacement part, cleaned up a bit of spilled food in the bottom of the unit, and he was personable. The price was about what we expected. NOT a good experience. KitchenAid's website referred me to this company to do a repair on an out of warranty dishwasher. One would think that if this company is one of their factory authorized repair companies that they would provide good service. One would be wrong. Initially booked for 8-12. Day before they were to come, got a text indicating 11-2 instead which I adapted to. Although I didn't hear anything from them that day, I did determine that the person would be a little late. The person did not call on his way though he had reached out to me previously about something else. Arrived abt 340 or so and seemed in a hurry. Didn't take the time to fully diagnose the problem (ie did not take the time for the DW to actually start leaking which would have been abt 5 minutes); instead he took my word for it. He didn't screw the kickplate back on -- just pushed it up against the cabinet. And went to his car to write up an estimate which he then tried to show me on his phone. I asked for him to send and he offered for me to take a screenshot which I declined and made him send the actual estimate. At this point, we were done. All of this could easily have been handled over the phone w some pictures or video if he was not even going to take the time to actually VIEW the problem. The entire experience was UNprofessional and I spent my entire day waiting... I could go on but I think you get it -- don't use this company. And I may never be buying another KitchenAid again and trust me I let KA know this too. read more

Absolutely the most incompetent, rude and poorly trained service staff I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. I bought a brand new kitchenaid fridge that was broken right out of the box (just my luck). I was forced to deal with DFS for a warranty repair. They show up, tell me I need a new compressor and that it will take a few weeks to arrive. A month goes by. I call, they tell me they need to STILL NEED TO ORDER IT. So another month goes by, I call SAME THING. Ok, fast forward SEVEN MONTHS and these people STILL DON'T HAVE THE PART. (I feel I was beyond patient due to "part shortages due to covid blah blah) I call kitchenaid who said they sent them a part with signed tracking and DSF has the audacity to tell me they didn't receive anything and it's MY JOB to get kitchenaid to send them a compressor. The worst - but you have no choice when you spend hundreds on the warranty and this is the support you get. The can service the dishwasher, they just can't move it! So we had to have the company we bought from (yay Blink Appliances) uninstall the day before and come in to reinstall the week after. Diamond has been out 7 times to try to fix our brand new $5700 Jenn Air double oven. Sometimes the repair men say they show up but never did. Those that did were nice. However the lemon is not fixed. The company I bought it from and Discover Card are working on a refund/replace but not Diamond. They are happy to waste my time closing out the ticket each time so I have to spend hours again on with their EXTREMELY rude call center reps and Jenn Air who then sends them back out. They also have refused to leave any paperwork stating Jenn Air is the "client" while the unit they are working on is mine and in my home. Diamond service is the company Whirlpool uses for their warranty service. I had an issue with my dishwasher (the upper spray arm does not revolve) resulting in dishes that are not clean. They sent technician #1 who didn't fix the problem. He said that I should get a different brand. Whirlpool sent a different technician out who guessed that it is a waterpressure problem without trying to run the machine to check it out. My water pressure is just fine. He left after 5 minutes. I called Whirlpool and they said they would send a master technician out. Apparently Diamond says there are only 2 technicians that service my area. So they send back technician #1 back who couldn't fix it the 1st time. Not only did he not fix it but reported back to Whirlpool that it is operating "as designed" which is not true. I don't know why he would do this. I talked to Patrick the supervisor who said he would look into it. Never got back to me despite leaving 3 voice-mails. I'm still sitting with a dishwasher less than a year old that isn't working. read more

HORRIBLE! Third visit to repair Whirlpool dishwasher, I actually told the "tech" to leave. First two visits said dishwasher leaks due to the dishwasher soap we use, didn't believe it, he became confrontational with my wife. We changed to all powder, still leaks, even after 5 full cycles without any detergent, just water. Took video of leak from the underside of the machine, tech said he didn't want to see it, needed to witness leak for himself. Basically called us liars, unbelievable. Diamond appliance came out after two weeks, ordered a part and came back a week later..... Found out they ordered the wrong part and told me they'd be back in another week..... That's where I'm at right now. I've owned this washer for five weeks and it's been broken now for four of the five weeks. These guys got only one job and they can't get their stuff straight. I have completely lost my patience with this company. I can't scream it loud enough to not work with this company. They will take years off your life! They have no idea what customer service is. I have a new refrigerator. The ice maker went out. I went online to whirlpool and they recommended this company. Believe me I am telling whirlpool that they need to sever all ties with this company if they want to keep customers! On October 15 I scheduled service for October 27. I was told I need a new ice maker but it was back ordered and would take 10 business days to come in. Three weeks later (15 business days) I called to see what the status was. I was told it wasn't in yet. Then finally I was scheduled for a service call on November 19. The new ice maker was installed. It didn't make a single piece of ice. I called as soon as they opened on November 21st and explained my frustration especially since I would be hosting thanksgiving on that Thursday. The customer service person put me on hold, came back and in one breath told me they scheduled me for November 29th and hung up. Never asked if that worked. I was dumbfounded. The technician came out on the 29th and told me the ice maker was broken and was on back order. It is now December 28th. I called them and they said it is still on back order. We have asked to speak with managers several times and never been out through or had anyone call back after we left messages. I called whirlpool and they said I can order the part and it would be shipped in 7 business days. How can it be that I can call and order it and get it in less time than I've been waiting? My opinion is they don't want to help me. I want my money back so someone else who is more reputable can fix the problem. I've spent $400 here. I will never never never call them again and I hope they go out of business. And also when we ask what the CEOs email address is we are told they don't have a corporate email. Another lie. I was referred to Diamond by Jenn Air for warranty work on a range. They're the most unprofessional organization I've ever come across. I had them come out on two separate occasions, the first time I hoped their poor service was a fluke... The second time I had kind of forgotten how bad they were, but then I was refreshed. It took a full month to get the appliance working both times. Both times it was the digital controller that controls the keypad, a part which they had to order (but that took maybe a week). Both times I called, they couldn't come out to see the appliance until a week from the time I called. I told them at the time of call what was wrong, and the second time the same symptoms happened I asked if they could order the part they had previously replaced. She said no. So when they finally come... of course it's the part I say it is. They say it'll be a week. Both times the part came in about a week later, as expected. However, they waited 3 full days (both times!) to call me to schedule an appointment. So for a fairly basic parts replacement, it took about a full month both times. Their telephone demeanor is rude and condescending. These people are terrible to deal with. I would not recommend them. read more

Travis arrived diagnosed the problem and said he would return in a week. He did the next week, but without the needed parts. Said he would return the following week. I took the day off from work and drove 4 hours to be there for this third appointment. He had apparently not scheduled the appointment, according to the customer service rep. I re-scheduled it again. There were supposed to come today - the fourth appointment. They need to reschedule. I have decided to schedule with someone else! This was the repair company Jenn-Air recommended. Piss poor customer service and inept repair contractors. Had a washer serviced three times in the past year because they can't fix it right the first time. Trying to get ahold of someone at Diamond to address my issue was unsuccessful as they don't answer their phones and don't respond to call back requests. The only reason I had to use them in the first place is because my service requests went through a home warranty company. For the latest repair last week, the contractor not only didn't finish the job completely, he left ALL of his garbage and used parts that were replaced for me to clean up even after I asked him to clean up his mess. He told me that they don't haul away the garbage. I had to clean up all of the cardboard boxes and throw away all of the old parts and packaging myself, including the motor he replaced. I have NEVER had a contractor, service tech, or any other type of home service ever leave their garbage behind for me to clean up! I found out about the incomplete repairs on the washer as we also had a dryer serviced by another contractor on Friday from a different company. We asked him if he could just take a look at the washer as we had found an issue and wanted to know if we should call Diamond back out to fix. He found the washer repairs were not completed properly as there was a dial on the front panel out of alignment and the drain tube hadn't been completely flushed and cleaned out during the repair job after he replaced the motor. The other contractor actually took extra time to help us after he fixed our dryer and completed the job that the Diamond tech should have done in the first place. And didn't even charge us extra for it! The only reason I am giving this review one star is because I am not allowed to post a review with zero stars! If you need to have service repairs and Diamond Factory Service is recommended, decline and ask to find someone else. read more

We were referred to Diamond from Whirlpool. Our washing machine is still under warranty so we don't have a choice of who Whirlpool uses to fix their appliances. It took over a week to get a technician out to our home. He was here for 5 minutes and stated that our washer needed a new water inlet valve. He stated that he did not have the part on his truck. Seriously, how does an appliance company not have a basic part on their truck? I called to complain to the company, and they basically gave me the "there is nothing we can do about it". We lost time from work, to be here when the tech arrived. Diamond does not have weekend hours or weekday hours after 5 pm so if you HAVE to use this company, be advised you will need to be home within the four hour window given and you will have to take time off of work to do so. After reading most of the reviews on YELP, this seems to be the MO of this company. Diagnose the problem in one visit, tell client-- no parts --and then have to come back a second or third visit. What a TERRIBLE way to do business. DO NOT USE DIAMOND APPLIANCE SERVICE IF YOU ARE ABLE TO CHOSE SOMEONE ELSE. Whirlpool has already heard from me and I will try my best to get my complaint all the way to their board of directors. I had a very good experience today with Diamond Appliance. The tech, Angel, called ahead of the scheduled arrival window to make sure I was home because he was able to arrive 15 minutes early. He was right on time and when I explained the problem with my gas dryer not heating up well, he knew right away what to do to start. Even though I clean out the lint i can reach and vacuum as much as I can, he took the cover plate off to find a lot more dust and lint. He took the inside cover off and found the inside wheel also with old dust. After a good hand cleaning he checked again and saw the gas flow was much better - but he also took the time to check the air flow to the outside and wasn't happy with that. He took off the vent extension and found it was clogged with lint debris. A good cleaning of that and now my 10 year old dryer is working like new. He was competent, friendly, efficient. You can't ask for more. read more

"Diamond Factory Service" was the recommended repair facility for my Whirlpool washing machine. I assumed by virtue of being recommended by a major manufacturer, that gave them credibility. I assumed incorrectly. Everything about my experience with them was inadequate. They were unprofessional in dealing with them with little exception. When I spoke with their management, their manager was VERY unprofessional and unaccommodating. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. You will pay more here than most places and the work they perform is inadequate. When I called them back 24 hours after the work they performed about an issue that came up related to the work they did, I was told "the previous ticket was closed" and I would need to pay another mandatory $100 service charge to review the issue and then any additional fees. They also charged me $100 service charge to assess work needed plus another $100 in labor charged for approximately 10-15 minutes on the first day and 15-20 minutes when they replaced the (small) part that needed replacing. Emphasis on how unprofessional, unaccommodating and overpriced this organization is. You can find better similar companies elsewhere. When I eventually mentioned I should have looked at reviews before calling them, I was told "people usually only leave poor reviews on review sites online." Wrong, this is the 1st poor review I have left out of the 5 companies I have reviewed over the years. I would stay away from them. read more

Had Diamond come out to repair our GE Advantium oven - a glorified $2,700 microwave. What were we thinking in the first place? After several trips and nearly $800 the Advantium worked... for approximately 135 days - 45 days out of the repair warranty! It died a second time just like the first. The scheduler said we needed to schedule a repair to look at the dead unit, but that parts were warrantied for a year. I agreed and scheduled an appointment. I then talked with the same repair person that did the first repair. He stated that even though the parts might be covered under warranty, he didn't feel comfortable working on it again and would contact GE to let them know why he won't work on the unit a second time?! He said it was a dangerous high powered 4,000 volt unit that need to be tossed! Really? Just really? Avoid Diamond Repair at all costs. read more
