We hired R&J through a third-party service company, so I won't even talk about the service charge for the initial call as that may be different if you hire them directly. The tech who came out was super nice and looked at our Bosch dishwasher, explaining that we could have the clog "flushed" but that we should probably replace the motor to get the best results. I went ahead with it, at a cost of over $400. He tested the machine before leaving and it seemed to work. When I ran the machine with dishes later that night, it didn't. It took over a week to get him back to take a look. He never took the hose off the hook-up to the pipes under the sink and just vacuumed from inside the dishwasher again. This time it worked for about 4 runs and then we went on vacation for a while. The whole time it was working after this second repair, I had to keep running empty loads in between with cleaners and vinegar because it still had a funky smell. Back from vacation and it broke again. This time we got no return calls. We are now waiting on another company to come take a look and likely tell us we have to replace the whole thing - which we could have done in the first place and not have been out $400. read more

I hired this company to resolve a refrigerator issue. The owner send his technician in to solve the issue, I paid them close to $875.97 dollars and the issue remained the same. I have called several times to complain about the issue. The owner Juliano was rude, he dismissed my concerns, was belligerent and called me "fucking bitch" and was screaming on the phone. He refused to understand what issue I still had unresolved and acted like he knows everything because he has 20+ years of experience. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a repair company. Mr. Juliano does not respect his customers especially if you are a woman. R&J charged me $900+ to fix the light on my range hood. They came out and told me it was the control board which is a $450 part. The tech installed it and when it didn't work, he poked around and diagnosed it as one of the LED bulbs that needed to be replaced and that since it wouldn't light it wouldn't complete the circuit and that's why the control board wouldn't pass power to the circuit (so of course that means the $450 part wasn't actually broken). He told me it was a $50 part and since we already paid for the part and install that he got the ok from HQ to order and install it without a charge. We never heard back, despite many attempts and the lights still won't come on. $900 for absolutely nothing and they're being super aggressively rude on the phone with us. Pretty terrible experience overall. Would not recommend. Edit to respond - original problem was that the lights weren't coming on. Controls for fan worked and buttons for lights illuminated but power wouldn't pass to light bulbs. I paid invoice in good faith despite problem not being resolved. Tech used potentiometer to check all connections after new board installed and confirmed it's the burnt out LED that is causing the circuit to not close. If you'll come out and do that as stated in your response below, we'll consider the matter closed. Invoice attached. Edit#2 - request was to fix lights. You diagnosed the problem as a faulty control board and installed a new one. Lights still didn't work. Not sure what you want me to say? Yes, I agree that you installed a new control board - but the lights still don't work, and your tech's promise to come back with the new bulb and his promise that it would fix the issue remain unfulfilled. read more

R&J got my broken washer fixed. I have a stacked washer and dryer in very tight quarter, so they sent 2 men to fix it. They identified that I needed a new Kenmore control panel, which was out of stock. It took a couple of weeks to get the part. Despite his Friday night plans, he stuck it through until the dryer was running like it should. So happy I found this company. They responded immediately and were able to service me within 12 hours of me reaching out.
