I got my worst life event in my life when I was leaving from home to go to work when I noticed my car was on the pavement (literally) because someone stole my 4 tires. huge headache dealing first with the police then with my car insurance and after all I couldn't go to work. My car insurance agent called the towing company and brought my car to Diamond Automotive located in West Park, and I got a real impress customer service with a man named Andres Cortes, totally communicative with all issue about my car .... practically he made the process so easy and less stressful. Very Honest and Great to Work With. Reasonable Price!! Will Definitely Give References To Others Looking For A Good Mechanic

Warning don't take you auto here. I took my Dodge Dakota in to them to have the power steering pump replaced. They had my truck for almost two weeks and I was told all new parts went On. Lie. 4 months later I am replacing to pump again and reservoir again. When my new mechanic removed the pump it was determined the the pump was never replaced they only sealed it and the reservoir was damaged and was sealed with some type of sealer. Now I am out another 600.00 plus and I am out a truck for more time. Think twice before taking anything g to this company. read more

When Diamond Automotive moved to their new location I called to get a price quote on replacing all 4 motor mounts. The parts from the dealership were a little high so Ty, the owner, suggested "after market" parts to which I agreed. When I picked up my car it was shaking and and groaning worse than ever so Ty replaced one of the mounts with the best old one which helped, but was still not right. Then Ty offered to refund the cost of the "after market" parts to use towards the dealership parts which I purchased. After installing these, my car ran perfectly. Diamond Motors went above and beyond to help solve a problem that was not really their fault since I wanted the aftermarket parts. I paid for the cost of ONE labor when actually the labor was three times. They issued a refund before the old parts were returned.. This would probably never happen in a Corporate run store, and it made me happy that in our community a small business can help in ways corporate controlled cannot. I so appreciate their efforts to help me as I live on a fixed income. Ty's wife runs the office and she gave me a big hug when I expressed my gratitude. It felt like family!!! read more

*They moved to a new location on the edge of Yucca (across from 7Eleven and Little Italy). They serviced my Prius, which has been demanding a maintenance check for awhile now. Once I made the appointment, I had anxiety over hypotheticals where I've been neglecting and therefore destroying the nicest car I ever owned. Ty (sp?) listened to me rattle off a poorly arranged neurotic description of what I needed, a standard maintenance check, while I changed my baby's diaper in his office. They charged me $100 for two air filter changes and an oil change. Nice and honest. They have my business for life. read more

For me it was really nice that a woman answered the phone plus she is very peppy and positive. Turns out she is one of the owners and her husband a mechanic. She answered my questions and then let her husband take over. He was not the least bit condescending and listen- even some of the best mechanics aren't that way and I have only had one other like this! Once the official diagnostic was complete, he explained the process and showed me visually how the tests were performed. He also showed me that he ruled out alternate issues, that would have been less work and expense. I am new to the area and opted to spend full price to have a garage work on my car for good measure. It cost a fortune, yes but with these folks you get what you pay for. I have taken care of my own cars for nearly 30 years, solo. They will allow you to byop... bring in your own parts... and work for the cost of the mechanics time, if you're into that.
