This collision center and location was recommended by our insurance based on proximity to where we live. It got good reviews and is Honda certified so we went with this option. To begin with the estimate seemed incredibly high for what the damages were. Since it was the place our insurance recommended, we figured that they must be good and fair, so we trusted their estimate. At this point it should be said that we were not at fault in the accident we were involved in, so we knew we were only going to have to pay the deductible and would get that back eventually, so we stuck with Diamond Hills. Unfortunately, our experience did not go well. 1- Most communication regarding price estimates, confirmation of work to be done or timeframes for completion were initiated by us. Despite being told our rep would contact us for approval to start repairs and keep us informed throughout the process, on most occasions we had to call him first. 2 - When we were called and notified that our vehicle was ready for pick-up, later that same day they discovered they had broken the tail light during reconstruction of the car. We are appreciative that they discovered it before we did and they fixed it before returning the vehicle to us, but it did it take an extra day to get it back. 3 - After repairs were complete and during the final assessment of repairs, we noticed a small spot that was missed when they painted the bumper. We were told they would fix it, but when we came back the next day they had tried to only touch up that one spot and crated a more noticeable smudge instead. Even a tech admitted to my husband he would not want a smudge like it on his car, so they needed to repaint it again. 4 - They needed to remove the windshield and the windshield sensor system during repairs, but they did not put the sensor system back together properly so it rattled and might have popped off when driving if we hadn't noticed it first. They did fix it after we pointed it out to them. 5 - This one is the one that made me finally decide to follow through with a review. We'd had the car back for several weeks and while driving on the freeway, my husband went to pull down the visor to block the sun and the visor completely pulled off and dangled from the socket in the vehicle's roof lining. He had to drive toward the sun, one handed-to prevent the dangling visor from blocking his view- back the collision center to get it fixed immediately. They did apologize and fixed it promptly, which we appreciate. Our experience here was not one that would have us recommend this location to anyone. We are not confident that other issues won't come up, as little but significant things keep happening. We have needed collision repairs in the past, enough to know this is not a typical experience. We regret not driving a little further to take it to a place we've used previously for better results. Overall, the body repairs to our car were completed well and the car looks good, but it feels like they either rush or are careless about some details unrelated to body work that for us ended up with mistakes that could have potentially compromised safety. I will say, I feel the other positive reviews may be due to a "rewards" system they push when you drop off your car and again when paying, that offers you money back for certain amounts of money spent. I can see how that could be enticing, but I couldn't understand how it benefited them as a business. Since we were going through our insurance, I declined to participate and the woman seemed a little irritated that I did. In the future if we need collision repairs again, we will be going elsewhere. read more

This used to be a great body shop, but that is no longer the case under the new management. My car was there for a month, and I was told the repairs were complete and had passed quality control. However, when I picked it up, I found multiple issues, including a paint color mismatch, poor workmanship, paint nibs throughout the finish, and areas around the edges that were missing clear coat. It felt like they billed the insurance company premium rates while delivering the lowest-quality work possible. When I brought the car back, they repainted it three times and still couldn't get the color to match. They finally repainted it a fourth time, and the entire correction process took another month. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and I will never return to this shop again. read more

Kaeden was very friendly and clear in explaining the whole process of dealing with the insurance company. kept me up to date on the status. they handled everything with the insurance directly, we only had to pay our deductible at pickup. very easy. Even for small work - these guys are great. Hey, if they are great with small work - there is always an expectation that they can deliver the same with the bigger stuff. So, the door of the SUV is misaligned. Cause is unknown but could be hit from the outside, or the door hit something when opening from the inside. My wife brought the SUV - and we got two quotations. One for the quick fix and the other just in case the quick fix didn't work out (which is to a tune of 4x the former simply because a paint job will be required). My wife sends me the quote and I call Diamond Hills. The call was professionally taken by the receptionist and I was directed to William. A very good conversation - he explains to me the assessment and the reasoning behind the two quotations (which now made sense). He then gives me his personal take if it were his vehicle, albeit, the final decision would be mine. After that short conversation - I was convinced. I had my wife bring back the SUV for repairs. I brought my cars to this place twice. The first time was the model 3 to get my bumper fixed due to a rear-end collision. It took them about 35 days to complete the repairs, half of which because my adjustor did not respond in time. However, DHCC failed to follow up with me on the repair status, and I found out when I called them. I let it slide, as I believe it was the adjustor from the insurance was the root cause. I brought my model Y for a major door ding estimate the second time. I got the vehicle in on Tuesday (12/12) and followed up with the rep (Kaeden Hirata) on Thursday & Friday (12/14 & 12/15), and he has yet to respond/reply to my phone/texts. I called back to speak with the manager (Jesse), but one rep refused to transfer to the manager; he stated the manager was in the meeting (the same excuse given to me previously). As of today, no call/follow-up. I'm going to take my business elsewhere. BEWARE and EXPECT no communication if you want to bring your vehicle here for service/repair. read more

Unfortunately, my insurance company opted to declare the car a total loss instead of authorizing the repair of the car. Michael Mun was the person assigned to me. He was very professional and kept me in the loop during the entire process via phone calls and emails. He was able to put me in a loaner car while he was dealing with the insurance company. 10/10 experience. I would have rated my experience even higher if it was possible. Kaeden made this experience so hassle free, easy, and seamless. His communication was top notch and really made me feel like I have left my car in the best hands possible. I recently purchased a 2022 Tesla Model Y and not even a month in to owning it, a huge tire (with rim and all) hit the left side of my car as I was driving on the freeway. Luckily I found Diamond Hills the next day and from there they basically took care of everything from there, including talking to my insurance about price adjustments and updates. My car looks as good as new and they fixed it within a good time frame. To conclude, I would take all of my cars here to Diamond Hills, you can't find a place better than this one to fix a car! I hate giving bad reviews but be aware. If you give a quoted price you should stick to it or let your customers know if it'll be increased while or ahead of time and not wait until you fix the car then say it's an EXTRA $5000+ to get your car back! Like from $14k to fix to end up paying almost 20k... on the day to pick up the car, it would have just been a total loss. That's just unreasonable and unethical. ##please read this if you're getting your Tesla repaired here## I recently had my Tesla MY repaired here. 1) Please inspect your door handles. On newer Teslas the handles are matte black. The repair shop polished my car without taping off the door handles. Now all my handles are glossy. There is no way to revert this and only thing you can do is live with it or get them wrapped matte black. 2) My car had full PPF. The shop polished over the film. Not really suppose to polish over PPF. Seems like they failed to leave a reminder. It would've saved them time as well not having to polish all the panels. Would've avoided issue 1 on multiple door handles as well. Other than those 2 complaints, their paint and body work was great. So that's is why I am dropping to 3 stars. Just be careful inspecting your car when you take it back. read more

Got into a VERY minor collision where another driver had backed up into my car in a parking lot. Boyfriend had recommended that I come here to get my car fixed as he had taken his STI here for a rear end collision and they did an amazing job repairing the damages and corrections of another auto repair shop. William helped me with my auto repairs and everything went soo smoothly. Everything was taken cared of by the other party. DHCC scheduled for enterprise to come and pick me up and rental was all ready for me. William kept me updated on my vehicle's repair progress.
