If you are looking to replace your roof or siding and you are using insurance because of storm damage, I recommend contacting Eddie Moreno at Diamond Home Remodeling. From the beginning, Eddie spent time talking to us in person reviewing the damage to the house and the process he takes from start to finish. Eddie is very responsive via call, text, and email. The company uses a few different contractors. The ones we had for the roof and siding were efficient and finished the job in 1 day for the roof and 2 days for the siding. They also cleaned up well (even blowing away all of the leaves J) although you may need to make sure they pick up all of the nails. They often finished as it was getting dark in the winter so the nails are difficult to see but Eddie comes back after the job is done and makes sure everything is clean and looks good. Eddie's associate Eric would monitor the job if Eddie had to run to another site. Eric was very friendly and helpful as well. Great work Eddie, Eric, and teams. The new roof and siding make the house look great and the process working with insurance was seamless. read more

Diamond Home Remodeling replaced all the siding, roofing, gutters, and gutter guards on my home in 2021. The beautiful customed room on the back of the house became a nightmare within a short time. A twelve by twelve section leaked water every time it rained. Turned out they installed a trim piece across the top of the roof at that section incorrectly. That was fixed. Then a few months later water started running down the chimney discoloring the wood trim around it. An extremely rude manager came to my home and called ma liar and said nothing was wrong with the roofing at that section. Diamond put caulking all around but claimed the Chimney was the problem. The Chimney company stated unequivocally that there was no way that the chimney could possibly have caused the leak. By that time the chimney had stopped leaking as a result of the caulking. But damage to the wood had to be repaired. Finally then the Diamond paid for half the cost of refurbishing the wood. Now it has started leaking again, and I am waiting to hear from the company. At the time I had lived in my home for 38 years, had 3 roofs put on that room and never had a leak until Diamond replaced it. This is a nightmare. read more

I do not recommend Diamond Remodeling. In 2022, a representative named Nick Arnold came to my door and informed me that my roof and siding had storm damage. I filed a claim with my insurance company, which paid a portion of the cost, and I paid the remaining balance out of pocket. Diamond Remodeling completed the roof and siding replacement in 2022. As part of the project, I was supposed to receive warranty documentation. Despite numerous phone calls and emails over the past four years, I have never received the warranty information. It is now 2026, and I am experiencing significant concerns with the quality of the workmanship. The condition of both the roof and siding has deteriorated, and I have serious concerns about the installation and the company's failure to provide the promised warranty documentation. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the company, but my concerns have not been addressed. I am requesting that Diamond Remodeling immediately provide all warranty documentation and address the issues with the roof and siding. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will pursue complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. read more

Solicited my grandmother into submitting an insurance claim stating wind and hail damage to roof and how they'd get her an entire roof for her deductible. With my knowledge and being Haag certified, I went to inspect the roof. What did I find? Thermal cracking, blistering and no hail damage to any portions of the roof, window screens, aluminum siding. After speaking with my grandmother, come to find out their door to door salesmen didn't even go on the roof. He could "see the damage from the ground." After doing my company research and speaking with my insurance agent, it appears as though this company is what I'd call "storm chasers" rather than simply being a reputable roofing contractor. Furthermore, Diamond Home Remodeling is never recommended across local Facebook groups when people ask for referrals of quality roofing contractors. In the end, insurance denied the claim which I told my grandmother would happen and now she has claim history. Awful company read more

I am writing this in hopes to get assistance from the supervisors or a senior person at Diamond Home Remodeling (DHR). Please note I am not and have not initiated any cancellation of my contract in Silver Spring, MD and hope that DHR will honor the repairs identified in addition to the required parameters around the job. 1)     I am requesting that the existing project manager be removed from the project manager for my project and a new project manager be assigned for reasons noted in the email sent on 4/30/23. 2)  Please remove the additional charges levied by the new project manager for unauthorized visits to my property 4/12 through 4/13.  3)  Please send the contact information to the new project manager as soon as possible to this email address.  I'll need the name, phone number and email address. 4)   I am requesting for the 5th time the itemized bill (identifying each individual work performed and the corresponding cost) that total the amounts DHR has cited as being owed by Tuesday, May 2, 20233 pm EST. I have been asking for an itemized bill since February 2023 and neither Luca Marlotte nor Josh Lohsl has provided this detail.  I believe I have been overbilled and I need to see the itemized bill in order to understand what has happened.  I am not clear as to why after more than 45 days I have not received his as I have also sent an email to the company email address. Luca told me that the work would not continue on my project until DHR "received more money on the project, how much are you going to pay".  He showed a snap shot on his phone from his notebook that itemized the work totaling $13,157.  This is when I asked him if he could send me that snap shot, the full itemized bill and how much I already paid.  He said he would but never did. I've asked the same from Josh Lohsl who also has not provided this itemization.  I need to know all the work that was performed by DHR on my home and the cost for these items, due to overbilling.  Unfortunately, if I am not able to receive this information as requested I would need to file a claim with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC).  4)     Per the previous email sent to the company email address no one from DHR, its subcontractors, agents or anyone operating on behalf of DHR is permitted on my property without an appointment which will be communicated in writing. An appointment is necessary so I can make the necessary accommodations. 5)     Remaining work to be done by confirmed appointment. a.      Replace warped capping (triangles) at the top of the garage, and main house (3 areas). Within two weeks of the installation of these items they began to pull away from my home. b.      Replace siding in the back of the home. c.      Replace/fix siding warping under the two windows on the front of the home (this did not happen with my old siding, only after DHR's replacement). d.      Adjusted capping on the front of the home (sharp, sloppy edges, globs of caulk) e.      Adjusted framing over the door in the back right of the home. f.       Nail pops in the lower three rooms of the home as a result of the fired sub contractor's sloppy workmanship. My home was professionally painted in October of 2021 and a s a result of the subcontractor's you hired I have approximately 20 nail pops. g.      Magnet sweep of property for nails and staples and removal of debris left by subcontractor, which did not occur.  We are still finding these all over our yard, in addition to cigarette butts left by your subcontractors. These become a hazard to children and animals. h. Installation and/or reimbursement for vent cages removed by your sub contractors.  In September of 2021I had mice removed from the laundry room and as part of the inspection and subsequent remediation cages were installed over my vents.  Luca approved this credit and I just needed to submit the receipts to him as I told him I would install them myself.  Unfortunately due to recurring sickness I have not been able to address this. Based on the last email from DHR I am also posting this request as a review in Yelp to ensure you receive this communication and will have a postal letter mailed tomorrow with this same information and pictures of the identified work. My goal is to make sure the right work gets done. I am hoping that DHR embraces the same initiative and will honor my requests. The sooner I can get the information requested I can work with the new project manager to try and move this project towards completion. read more

Similar to previous reviewer. The shingles look good, and the roofing word was ok. They did agree to and they replaced the mixed color shingles over the garage after a month. However, they damaged the gutter over the garage when one of the workers slipped and slid down the roof and caught himself on the gutter. After repeated calls someone came out and looked, and at first denied it was their fault. Another batch of phone calls, and someone came out but went to our neighbor's house and "fixed" their gutter. The neighbors were not even customers! The gutter is still bent. We are going to replace it ourselves. The cost of a new piece of gutter is less than the stress of trying to get the people in charge at this company to stand by their work. Coincidentally, the cost of repairing the gutter on their part is probably less than an unhappy customer posting this kind of review. read more

Solicited at my door, contacted my insurance and collected the initial amount. But had to call them repeatedly to get the work done, while the material was sitting on my roof for days. They may do an average job, but are very unreliable. They quote incorrect information on their system. After initial solicitation they have not been responsible in their work. I have some insulation issues that I needs to get fixed, that has started only after the new roof was installed by them. A warranty of 50 years was provided, and a refund if anything went wrong during installation, but now they are not reachable to review the issue. read more
