I ended up with a cars I wanted to see but sold on me, or getting a bad sales rep who couldn't answer my questions nor felt I was a potential buyer. Then I happened to get lucky that two vehicles I was interested in were at Serra Toyota. I had a lot of questions on the vehicles since I only had info from online. I needed to see more of what I was interested in. I then went inside to the sales floor where I met Cheryl. I explained to her that I wanted to check out two used sedans they had, and needed to know more on what certified used / preowned vehicles meant. It was new to me. She explained all the questions I had about buying a used car and then explained to me the certification process. After learning about what checks the cars at Serra went through and the warranties and backing of their work. I was more comfortable about the certified cars they offered. After test driving and getting technical questions about the Sedans I was interested in I settled on getting a 2024 Camry Sedan. Really a great car which I love and enjoy. But I may not have bought w/o getting the personal touch offered to me and being able to answer my questions so I know I found what I want.

Had a 7:00 appointment. Much of the operation is the same as when it was Don Jacobs. This dealership is not as large as some of the other ones in the area (Wilde, Brookfield, etc), but I have felt like they try hard to keep up. I "think" they did a good job. But took way to long, longer than they had promised. Even though I was the first car in the garage at 7:00 am. It took 6 hours for the work. And because of the delay, I had to get a shuttle home, with added another hour of my personal time. If they had given me a timely update (about the delay) I could have gotten a ride home on my own. When I picked up my car at 6:00pm, I discovered that they no longer have a cashier. So I had to wait another 15 minutes while a Service Writer was freed up to process my payment, and give me the keys. And even though they did the Multi Point inspection, they never went over the results with me. (looks like my Front Disc Brakes are in the "yellow" range). Not their best showing. Hope they figure things out.

I wanted to swap out the Chrome Emblems for Black Emblems. I took the vehicle in on 6/23/2025 to have this done. I was called on 6/25/2025 to let me know the vehicle was ready for pickup. (see picture 1). Upon arrival, I noticed that a chip of paint was taken out, accompanied by a scuff mark from whatever tool was used to take off the chrome lettering. I proceeded to point this out the Collision Center manager, Matt Woodrum, who agreed that this had to be from them and that they'd take care of it. On 6/27/2025, Matt W reached back out to tell me it was fixed. (See picture 2). I show up, and see that it looks like they just put a blob of whiteout over the mark and wiped the scuff mark off. I did not take the vehicle and told them it was unacceptable. Matt W then told me that they didn't think it was their fault because their paint guy, with 30 years of experience, said the chip was there. (They did not take any before/after pictures). I left and said I would not pick up until it was fixed properly. On 6/30/25 I was told it was fixed for the 2nd time (see picture 3). This was again, just a smoother glob of white paint that was very noticeable. I again did not take the vehicle because this was ridiculous. On top of the fact this is not the 3rd time attempting to pick up this vehicle and the Collision Center manager Matt quality checked and OK'd this 3 times to this point. Fast forward to me having to CC their location manager to actually get something done and they wound up having to repaint the entire back end of the vehicle to make it right. I would never in a million years take my car for any body repairs to Lake Chevy. If you want to buy a vehicle, that's one thing and I would HIGHLY recommend Matt Kreckler. But anything bodyshop wise, I would look elsewhere.

I almost never leave reviews, but this experience was unreal…read more I brought my vehicle to Lake Chevrolet for a repair and paid around $1,500. Before dropping it off, the car started. i was bringing it in for an unfinished repair (so it didn't at the time of bringing) but has been a great daily driver every single time. After their work, I was handed back a vehicle that would not start at all -- just a single click. Instead of taking responsibility, they immediately tried to blame: * a starter that was replaced two months ago (ACDelco), * and hinted at a battery issue, despite the battery being less than 6 months old. When I pushed back, I was told they would need to re-diagnose the vehicle at my expense -- for a problem that did not exist before they touched it. That's unacceptable. To make it worse, the car was clearly started, moved, and washed after the repair, yet returned to me non-operational in their parking lot. There was zero accountability, zero ownership, and a whole lot of deflection. The most embarrassing part? The issue was resolved in their parking lot, in front of them. A dealership charging dealership prices should not be returning cars that don't start, then asking customers to pay again to diagnose their own workmanship. If you value your time, money, or sanity, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere

I later found out through GPS data that the car had been driven over 100 miles more than disclosed. It was essentially a demo car sold as new. Worse, they used "Tied Selling" tactics in the finance room, forcing me to pay $467 for a service plan to get a rebate. I had to fight with Kia Finance for weeks to get that money back (which they finally refunded, proving the dealer was wrong). They also refused to fix a factory defect on my other car (X-Line), costing me nearly $500. I tried to resolve this privately with the owner, but they chose to ignore me. This is how they treat a repeat customer. Take your business elsewhere.

Merry Christmas to me, Rosen Kia Ripped me off…read more Bought a new Kia K5 GT Line AWD from Rosen Kia on Tuesday 12/23/2025. Today 12/25/2025, I was finally able to get into the password protected copy of my sales contract that was emailed to me after the purchase of my new vehicle. During purchase, I agreed to buy an extended warranty. Today, I was trying to see specifically how much that warranty was ( during purchase I was told it was "almost $4K") When I finally got my installment agreement open, I found that there were several add on products that I never agreed to purchase and was never even told about. The finance guy said by purchasing an extended warranty my monthly payment was going up "about $40/month", when in reality the total impact of this extended warranty and all the other add-ons was actually approximately $150/month. This means the total out of pocket impact over the life of the loan made my vehicle more than $10,500 higher than without. 1. There was a Multi-Guard Platinum Protection plan added to my loan that was not disclosed or approved. Total cost: $1,205 2. There was a 3 year Pre-Paid Maintenance Agreement ( non cancellable under any circumstances) added to my purchase that was never disclosed. Initial cost: $646. 3. There was GAP coverage added to my Loan that was not approved or disclosed during purchase. Which is weird because I already pay for that on my car insurance at a much lower rate and would never have approved the: $899 charge that was added to my loan. 4. Ultra + Service Contract. This was the only 1 of the 4 that I was told about, or discussed during vehicle purchase, and the only one I authorized, but it actually cost quite a bit more than I was told. 5. During my time in the finance office, the finance guy told me he was able to "buy down" my interest rate by 1.0%, and that they normally don't do this but because they were a "diamond dealer" or something like that, with Capital One, he was going to try and get me the best deal they could but not to tell his boss. What I came to find out was that the rate was never "bought down", it was just more untruthful info said to muddy the waters. In the finance office I was told to sign here, initial there, etc. Much of what was added to my loan was never disclosed or approved and I was never given the opportunity to review the entirety of my sales contract until after the sale. The Truth In Lending Disclosure was never shown to me during the sale, I did not see it at any point until today. The documents are all password protected and sent after the fact, and I believe this was done to make it intentionally difficult to detect what was being added to this 56 page contract. This is not a case of "buyers remorse", it's a customer finding out they were lied to and not told of things being slipped into the purchase agreement that would never have been agreed to if I had known. All of this is upsetting and disappointing to say the least. Finding out that a business I gave my hard earned money to and took the time to write a good faith review for, based on their request to support them for giving me a "good deal" was actually being deceitful and dishonest is a crappy way to spend your Christmas Day. I hope this serves as a warning for anyone planning to do business with this place, or has in the past, DEFINITELY GO REVIEW YOUR PURCHASE CONTRACT!! I definitely won't make the mistake of giving them the chance to do this again, that's for sure

About a year and a half later, I brought it in for a recall on the front control arm. After the service, just two days later, the front passenger tire flew off on the freeway, causing a major safety failure. Despite this being directly tied to their work, they denied all responsibility. Even after I contacted the owner, I never got a response. Something I heard today reminded me of this incident, and it just goes to show, when you screw people over, time may go by, but they don't forget. I was a loyal customer for years, knowing many of the staff personally, but this broken trust was the final straw. I haven't returned since, and I hope others consider this before choosing them.

It's been a nice handful of months ago now since my last service there, but the experience was so fantastic that I made sure to take time to write a review even after quite a bit of time has passed. I'd like to start with one of the lead service managers/technicians, his name is Johnny. Johnny is beyond phenomenal. He's kind, intelligent, hard-working, and exemplary personnel. Not only did Johnny and his team make sure that my vehicle was fixed properly, but also very timely while working closely with me to keep me informed every step of the way. There were a few hiccups and snafus during the process (some a little unprecedented as Jon(who no longer works there) initially started working on my car) but Johnny picked up his slack and went above and beyond to make things right and fix my vehicle properly. As a customer, he made me feel like 1/1 VIP, and you can't really find that type of service or charisma like anywhere these days. An added bonus was that I had the opportunity to see him interact with another customer and I could tell he made that individual feel the same way. Johnny is truly an outstanding person and employee and should 100% be recognized as such. All jokes aside give that man a raise or an extra vacation or something lol. Another lead technician/service advisor that should be recognized for his exemplary work and customer service is Eric. Eric's knowledge in service, reliability and infectious positive attitude is truly something amazing and is the reason I've brought my business to Griffin's hub for multiple years now. The first time I serviced my vehicle at Griffin's was back in late 2020 and was with Eric. The experience was so grand I haven't looked back since, because of that I only take my vehicle to Griffin's for literally anything and everything. There are a few more folks I'd really like to take my hat off and give a nod to that added to my already great experience at Griffin's hub. This last time around, amongst the mild chaos with my part being shipped to Griffin and Jon no longer working there and the part getting mixed up in the warehouse or whatever, I had the pleasure of meeting Taylor (I'm like 90% sure that was his name. He was one of the head honchos, like top dog service manager) and he too, was an absolute delight. He greeted me with poise and respect and helped figure out the situation and make right of any wrong that may have been done along the way in the confusion. The last two individuals that deserve a shout out are both Dave and Carrie, the shuttle drivers. In my time with Griffin's, I've never taken advantage of or had the opportunity to use their shuttle service. (Which, sidenote, is f-ing amazing that they have that available for their customers!!!!!) however this last time around I did, and I enjoyed every second of each conversation I had along the ride with them! Major kudos to Carrie and Dave! Griffin's hub really knows what they're doing getting the best of the best in every facet and capacity, filling each role of every department of that establishment with the absolute greatest individuals. Thank you (especially) to all those listed above, as well as all those working at Griffin's Hub for continuously providing great experiences. - Jordan S. (Jeep Cherokee)

I look over the entire car, especially underneath for leaks of any kind and to give the frame and under carriage a good once over. The "lady" across the streets begins screaming at my family and I as I inspect the vehicle. Shouting "what the hell are you doing!?" She then grabs her dog and runs over while shouting at us. She is assuming we are stealing off the vehicle. Mind you I am with my wife and 2 of my daughters with a hatch full of groceries. If I can look at a car on a Sunday without being completely bombarded by salesmen I am going to do it. But nope this lady came at us sideways as hell. I told her we were simply looking for a first Car for my daughter and I inspect everything. We are not the kind of people that just see a car online drive over and buy it, i need to inspect it but apparently Diamond Jim Motorcars isn't a fan of this practice. Tell her to work on her people skills and her approach maybe she could have assisted with a sale instead of insulting a family. I will NEVER recommend someone does business with a place that has their employees running reckless like that.
