If I could give 10 stars I would. Wow and double wow. For the past 2 years we were told that our lock was impossible to fix. Then we were told that the door needed to be replaced or we would need to add another deadbolt. I'm in case the cost was going to range from $1,000 to $485. When I called Diamond Locksmith Emir (sp) said he didn't believe that our lock was impossible to fix. He fixed it and gave us 4 new keys. All for a fraction of the other crazy estimates. He immediately understood what I need to replace with smart secure industrial grade key locks. He came to our new condo twice. First to inspect our existing 4 locks and propose specific locks to meet our security needs, including smart remote operations on iPhone. Amazing professional service! I had purchased a smart lock on Amazon and asked Ray to install it. He looked at it and said he would install it, but did not recommend it. He pointed out that the bolt mechanism was somewhat flimsy, and that with repeated opening and closing it would push against the inner workings and wear out, probably within 1 - 2 years. He recommended a Schlage lock - while he sells them, he told me I could buy it on my own and he would install it. So, I got a Schlage (he was actually less expensive than Amazon!) lock and watched him install it. He was absolutely right about the bolt mechanism, and thoroughly professional with the installation. I found Ray, the owner, very unprofessional. I had reached out to him by reading Yelp's reviews. I was surprised and disappointed by the contradiction of his reviews. He postponed our appointment several times with with very short notice. He came totally unprepared despite sending him the specifics and photos of what I needed. I decided to go with another locksmith. [Edit]: Unfortunately, I cannot respond to Ray's response below. I will keep my review here for customers to read and confirm themselves. I did find far more professional locksmiths who asked me for pictures with the tape measure next to the lock to come onsite prepared. And they did manage to fix the problem. What Ray failed to mention below is his employee came on site a few days before and had the time to take the door's measurements. I 10/10 recommend this service, we lost our keys to our 2021 GMC Acadia. After calling multiple places and receiving high prices I found the right price and within our budget. I called on a Friday and he ordered my key over the weekend and came by Monday morning as promised. He's very responsive and reliable.
