Sue and her staff are very friendly and professional. Sue keeps her salon so very, very clean. When Sue is not working on customers she is cleaning. She takes pride in her salon and seems to always purchasing new equipment and supplies to keep the shop up to date. She always has the latest colors to choose from. All the staff do a great job and all of them seem to enjoy what they do. Sue is very accommodating to all her clients especially her elderly clients. I see her assist them and her compassion to all is marvelous. She is a great person. I can't say enough about her. Sue has a large TV in the shop and always has a interesting show on. This is nice in case you just want to sit back relax and watch TV. I love her orange hand scrub, it smells so good. From the expedited care to the customer service displayed by the nail techs. My time here from start to finish was exceptional. My nail tech was Sue. She was so pleasant. We talked about my kids and her kids and just conversed the whole time. Her painting skills are great. Shes very thorough. She may be my new manicurist for sure. Of course gotta wait a few days to decide. I have a broken shoulder and she accommodated me in every way. My kids were with me and talking and laughing when I asked them to stop to not disturb the other clients she said "they're kids, at least they get along. Leave them" that was major too. Though my kids are teens they are more rowdy now then when they were young. It's good to know you can take them in with you As soon as I walked in even tho I had to wait, while waiting they acetonedmy nail to remove the dip powder that were already on my nails. I love that cause it knocks out your waiting time. The place is clean, spacious and has a tv to keep you entertained. Never thought to go here but I'm glad that I did. read more

I recently got a pedicure right before my vacation and the appointment was ok. the woman hurt me at sometimes and my nail chipped almost straight away but that was it. after my vacation I noticed severe pain where the woman kept poking and prodding at my foot, turns out her "fixing my cuticles" gave me a severe infection. I was planning on coming back but not after that experience. read more

I love this place! The facilities are comfortable and clean. The chairs for the pedi are the best I've been in and the massages in them are great. I don't know what those other reviewers are talking about. The ladies there are all good. I see many people come in with appointments. I personally am OK with the "round robin" - everyone I've had has been good. I go there for pedis, acrylics and have had my brows waxed. Everything was great. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that the "extras" during pedis like massages aren't the best. But I'm not a fan of them anyway, so it doesn't bother me. The pedicure lasted not even 20 minutes, and this is how it turned out. You can still see my nail underneath because of how sheer the color was, and another coat would have been nice. There's jagged edges of the nail from filing too, and some nails that were cut slanted?? I could probably have just done it myself for $5 read more

I went in for a full set. I left with my nails a mess. Had acrylic liquid everywhere, and she went over my cuticles, so as soon as I got home, they were lifting! As an update, I called and explained the situation, and the woman said it is normal growth, it happens. I told her that I've been getting my nails done for 20 years, and the only time it lifts like this is when the job is rushed, and not done right. She told me to come in so she could fix it. When I went in, she tried to charge me $3 per nail!! 8 nails, $24?! I said I'm not paying for them to fix their mistake, and she said then she won't do them.. she also proceeded to talk about me in her language and make faces at me. This was the first visit I've ever had and it will be the last. I had gotten a pedicure that only lasted around less than 20 minutes and I was the only person in the spa. My nails were carelessly filed and groomed as well as my feet. She filed my heels and the top of each foot for about 5-7seconds without any solution to rub the skin with. Another thing that was painful was the way she trimmed the cuticles, again barely any solution and it felt like she was pulling the skin off. A bonus was the quick little slaps on my feet as a "massage". Definitely A LOT of room for improvement read more

Went to Diamond Nails in Billerica Ma with a 50 dollar gift certificate. I went for the pedicure/gel manicure. The water in the spa seat was luke warm which put m e off from the start. The lady did a decent job on my pedicure but when it came time for the gel manicure I was very dissatisfied. In all but two of my nails there are lumps, rivets and uneven filing job. When I asked her to fix the wrinkles she just applied more clear coat and stared at me with a blank stare. After staring at my nails for 2 minutes pointing to the many imperfections I decided it was a loss cause and I was just happy that I was not spending my own 50 dollars on this utter train wreck. Bottom line, with so many nail salons in Billerica I would never go to Diamond Nails again, would not recommend any one to go there. read more

Terrible! They do not encourage appts so you're stuck with whoever you get - some are better than others. I went there 3 times - first 2 times (gel manicure) was OK but 3rd (and last) was terrible - the woman who did my mani clearly didn't know how to do gel. Also, even if you make an appt, you could still wait as they don't encourage you to learn anyone's name and book just with one person. Gel is a lot of money to not have a great one every time. I used to go to Cheng she was awesome I always got an appointment with her did a fabulous job one day I called for a pedi with her and they told me she left okay I decided that since its so close to my house I'll try someone else. Well that someone else turned into 3 someone else's who cannot file and polish AT ALL.... I'm very disappointed with how easy it is to give a pedicure and the alwful results I have gotten since then... Place very clean and I always used to get an appointment my problem is the lack of skill to do a simple pedi. Oh well time to move on just sad it was so close to home and very convenient .... I have to completely disagree with the reviewer below. Yes, they prefer walk-ins but you can make an appointment, I've never had any issue with getting an appointment or being seen quickly being a walk-in. And, if you like someone how hard is it to ask for a person's name? Heck, have them write it down! Tonight, in fact, I called to see what time they closed. It was 20 minutes to 7pm and they close at 7. They told me to come in and they would take me. When I got there another woman walked in for a pedi and they took her too we were there until 8pm and have a fabulous Spa-Pedi and brow wax - Now THAT is good service! I go to Diamond Nails approximately every three to four weeks (more often in the summer) for mani-pedi and to have my brow waxed. First, Verna does a great job with my brows. She takes her time, the wax room is clean and I'm always happy with the results. After three years of going to Diamond Nails I have never had a bad manicure or pedicure. The salon is spotlessly clean, they keep everything maintained, have many different colors of polish, massage chairs and for more frequent clients they will keep a personal tools box so you don't share tools with anyone else. If you live in the area this is a must try! read more

I had gone not even a week ago for a fill and they're already lifting. This wouldn't have been a problem if I had been treated with respect. I was yelled at and burnt with the electric file. Then I was blamed for it because "I kept moving". I didn't mean to but she kept moving my hand and continued to blame me for my nails not being even. She burnt three of my fingers really badly. Then finally when she was done painting my nails she had me sit in the same chair and told me to hold my hands in front of the little fans that they have at their stations. All the while she sat there in front of me on her phone. After 20 minutes of this I decided that my nails were dry enough to leave. I announced that I was ready to leave and without looking up from her phone, her exact words were "Yeah. You can leave now. Bye." This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon I have ever been to and I will never go back. read more

Staff incredibley rude, when I went in to get a set of acryllics, the woman who was ahead of me left crying. My nails came out pretty badly, they look like I've already had them for 2 weeks and I need a fill, but I just got them done. The staff are obviously saying things about the clients in asian. If I could rate this place a zero I would. I have never written a review before; however, I couldn't resist. I just left there and I am so completely unsatisfied. I went in for a simple gel polish change. There was no one in there so I didn't have to wait, and now I am not surprised. The women who took off the gel, cut me 4 times. 4 times I was bleeding. 4 out of 9, because one was already peeled off. That alone is horrible. Then, I went to pay. They charged me $25 dollars. A fill with gel color in North Andover, where I originally had them done, is $27. I would never recommend anyone to go to this salon and can assure you I am never going back. read more

Not going here again. I've been going here for years to get my eyebrows waxed. I've never been that impressed with the work but they get the job done, and their $8 is much more reasonable than the $20+ that some salons ask for for waxings, so that's what's always kept me coming back. I called in this morning to see if anyone was available for waxing, she said no but she'll be ready at 11. Okay great, see you then. I go in at 11, and the waxing woman is just finishing up with a pedicure, I figure alright I can wait 10 minutes. Then after about 15 she brings the customer over to the manicure table and starts a GEL MANICURE. I ask another worker, will it be long for the waxing? She says 20 minutes. First of all, I've gotten a gel manicure before and to my memory it takes much longer than 20 minutes. Second...I made an appointment for 11, and now you want me to wait until close to 12 to get my services done?! Absolutely not. I went to find another place and everywhere else was either closed for the day or extremely overpriced. So now I've wasted my gas, about a half an hour of my morning, and my eyebrows are still a mess. YOU SHOULD NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS IF THERE IS THAT MUCH OF A WAIT. I don't mind waiting 15 minutes, but seriously?! More than half an hour?? Ridiculous. It's Sunday morning, I have things to do. Sorry, but after this, and years of subpar waxing, the cheap prices aren't enough to keep me coming back. read more
