The absolute best nail salon ever! Splurge for the top of the line pedicure. It's worth every Penny!!! I usually have Jenny and she is such a professional and truly talented. You can tell she takes pride in making sure her clients are happy with their nails . I have had issues with regular polish and gel polish chipping, so I always get dip and I'm amazed by how strong and durable it is. I'm a mail carrier and with the dip , my nails never crack or break. Being on my feet all day, I need to take care of them and the full service pedicure is perfect! I feel brand new when I leave there, every single time! Just left the salon, and honestly, my nails looked better before I went in. I had no polish on, so there was no work there. I asked specifically to give my cuticles attention. The clear top coat doesn't go to the edges of my nails, and my cuticles are dry and not trimmed. No lotion on my hands and no cuticle oil. The pedicure polish is nice, but the cuticles are bad, and my feet are super dry. The oil on my shins did moisturize my legs. And we were given a complimentary glass of red wine. Wow I am so appalled I am still in the parking lot and downloaded Yelp just to write this review. I have been to Queens nails a few times after work because it's in the area and they stay open until 7pm which comes in handy for me. I normally schedule my appointment around 5:30-5:45 because it's the earliest I can arrive from work and they have never had a problem taking me although I can tell they do rush me through and sometimes I have to sacrifice a pedicure to make time. Despite being rushed; dip powder doesn't cover the whole nail, uneven electric filing, uneven shape, bubbles or lint in dip powder...I could go on...I ALWAYS tip more than 20% because I hope, wish, and pray they'll remember me and I'll get better service the next time. They don't care. They are money hungry and will say or do anything for your money. It's never been good but this was the absolute worst time I've ever been in there. It started off with removing my previous dip, because my nails are thinning it hurts when it's filed too much. She was filing very rough and when I winced, she would ask "oh does it hurt a little?" I would reply "yes they are getting really thin so could you be careful please?". She didn't care and kept roughly filing so I dealt with the pain...not very relaxing... Anyway, I really wanted a frosted tip ombré look but got something sooooo different although I said many, many times "this is not what I wanted", "this is not what I asked for", "could you focus it on the tip, like an 'ombré tip'?". The only responses I got were "mhm" or complete silence. Additionally, because she was rushing so much my nail shaping is a hack job. When the lady I initially told I wanted this style came over and asked about half way through "do you like it?" I said "not really, I think the ombré goes too high and that's not what I wanted" she literally didn't respond to what I was concerned about and went "well, you have very nice nail beds, they look fake!" To make things better, as the place was wrapping up, a man who seemed to be the husbands/boyfriends of one of the workers came in and let out a really loud belch! I was so appalled I whipped my head around to glare at him and NO ONE APOLOGIZED. Like WHAT?! WHAT?! I will absolutely attach a few pictures for you to see what I wanted vs. what I got. The ombré goes too high and it looks dumb because you can see where the actual tip of my nail ends...way lower. I understand the nails are much longer in the picture I provided, but do they go above the tip of her nail? 1/2 to ¾ of the way up her nail bed? I don't think so... I still tipped over 20% because it's the holidays..I'm not a monster, just really pissed at the nail quality I have on my hands right now. They look like a joke. On another note...if you're ever looking for a quiet, relaxing nail spa this is NOT IT! It's alwayssss a party in there with customers and technicians joking and laughing. Tonight, two customers bought in their own alcohol and made mixed drinks!! I honestly am so upset with the service that was just provided that I chose to write this review. I've never felt like I had to inform the public of a bad decision I made by going somewhere that was obviously not professional but wow, I have never seen a nail place operate this way and I don't recommend it to anyone, EVER. My advice: save your money or spend a little more for more professional service. p.s. My third time at this salon, and the first time they charged me an additional $5 because I have long nails!! That is ridiculous, do I really use that much more dip powder because my nails are long? I was not told about this erroneous additional charge on top of the 3% they charge if you use a credit/debit card for payment, which is ILLEGAL in Massachusetts. this place is a joke and a complete rip off. I took my 9 year old grand daughter and her 4 year old cousin to her their nails done. the 9 year old only for a standard pedicure and the 4 year old got a standard manicure and pedicure. I was charge $80 which is a joke. Yelp seems to have more realistic reviews of this particular nail salon. On google, the majority of the reviews are either old or just seem fake? I am sure there are some nail techs that are kind and good at what they do but I had a nail tech that was your typical "can't take responsibility for when they mess up" type. Just a lot of blaming and guilt tripping when you ask them to fix it and when you go back to have them actually fix it, their energy shifts from the nice act to attitude. Haven't had my nails done in legit ten years. I don't remember the girls name, but these nails are still going strong going on week two. She did a gorgeous job and was very quick and gentle- I had a small cut under my thumb nail and she was so careful and sweet. The owner was there as well and greeted me when I came in. I didn't have an appointment but she fit me right in. I will definitely be back after these grow out a bit more. Never thought I'd start getting my nails done, but the price and the service are spot on. Also I work in the service industry and these are lasting perfectly through volume shifts. I went to get a manicure after getting a pedicure the week prior and liked them. My boyfriend and I both went and they only spent about seven minutes on my boyfriend because he was a man and then switch to me. I got a very light color that needed about three or four coats for the color to completely coat my nail. There were streaks in my nail where the colors were more potent on some nails and they had these white streaks on other nails and it was really chunky on some nails from continuously overlapping the paint whereas the other ones barely had enough. I would highly reconsider going here because once I said that I wanted a refund because they were done poorly they were really rude. I don't usually make a big deal about this kind of stuff I'm just really disappointed in the interaction I had there and will never go back. My boyfriend and I called and asked when we could come in they told us to come in now we live 20 minutes away we didn't think that would be a problem. The nail technician should've never let me leave after seeing the finished product at least three separate times. I went back back in the reviews and saw that a couple other people had similar issues. And when I called to make the appointment I asked if they had any availability today if they could not take me they should've told me to make one for the next day. And I did not demand my money back I thought I was just being oversensitive but somebody else immediately after told me how bad my nails look so I went in and said" can I please have my money back because I didn't have time to get them fixed.
