I have been here a few times, by myself and with my husband. the first time we both got pedicures and it was only 40 for the basic one. The polish they put on my toes lasted about 3 months and they shaped them to grow nicely. I have gotten 2 full sets of acrylic there and both times they were phenomenal. First set was a shorter almond with just a french tip, i was worried about the time and the ladies said "no problem" and got them done in about 3 mins (after i had spent an hour doing nail prep and such) and the art didnt look sloppy or ruined at all! the second time i went i took my SIL and e both got sets, she works as a farmhand with horses all day so she was so happy when her nails lasted through all her hard work. I showed my artist something off pintrest and she said "leave it to me" and they were nicely done and almost an exact copy of the inspo i gave her! and they were $55 for a full set with different designs on almost every finger!! I will always keep coming back here, regardless of other peoples opinions. I have also never been cut or hurt by the staff, and I have never once had an infection or contact dermatits on my nails because of this salon!! Please excuse my dry hands, however I'm updating this review about 3 weeks later to write that this is the longest my nails have lasted without falling off. I have an office job in which 80% of the time I'm at a desk and the other 20% I'm moving boxes, lifting tables, and doing other heavy stuff and my nails made it through surprisingly well. I will say that I did lose a nail, 100% my fault, because a loose string go caught on it then I grabbed something wrong, but I don't think it was the application. Paid for BEST pedicure on the menu, but was it worth it? Not so sure. Included a hot stone massage, but they put the stones in to heat when they started on me so they were lukewarm instead of hard. Asked to have nails cut very short, but that didn't happen even though I asked them to cut them a second time. The gentleman doing the pedicure was very polite. He seemed to want to do a great job. The nails looked great when I left. Not even three days later polish is popping off. Not just on one toe but they are all releasing and polish is flaking off. I went for a pedicure and shellac manicure and the total was $46. The overall quality of the work was done very well. I would come back again. Horrible experience while visiting family in the area. The male tech that worked on my nails was not at all careful when filing my natural nails down (first he repeatedly didn't believe me when I told him they *were* my natural nails and not acrylic). He just went to town filing harshly from side to side. Soooo, of course, my nails start to break!! The gel polish he used for my manicure was not even neatly brushed on. I hesitated before asking him to fix it and remove it from my cuticles and from under my nails but it was too much to bear. Ohhh....ya...and my gel polish began to chip off two days after my visit. My nails have all but broken and are super, super thin thanks to the drill the tech used to get my SNS off (I always get it solely soaked off and have never had this bad an issue). Then we move on to my (not-so-lovely) pedicure! The tech (a different male) was very, very sweet...until he started chuckling at the shape of my toes. I'm EXTREMELY self-conscious about my toes to begin with--this did not help at all. I thought the rest was ok--great massage, etc., until two days later when I noticed the soles of my feet were peeling *profusely*!! It's been a week and I'm still trying to get rid of the peeling that I've never suffered from prior to this visit!! read more

UPDATE: Decided to give this place a second try after a bad first experience. I got Loni today, and she did truly amazing. I told her about the experience I had here before (after she did my nails) and she had me send the pics I had took and she had a talk with the woman that had did them and had her practicing with another nail tech to help her improve. Loni gave me one of the best sets I have gotten! She was super sweet and caring and extremely patient while getting all the pink polishes they had and helped me choose the perfect one! Btw this color is Shellac called Jordyn! OLD:I get my nails done 3-4 times a month. I. Stopped for 2 months and decided to try a new place. I requested dip powder about 6 times and the woman basically refused and said only gel. So whatever i just said fine. She cut about 5 of my fingers around the cuticle area and even on the side of my finger. Keep in mind I get my nails done very frequently and am used to pain, but my fingers were bleeding for over 10 minutes! I added pics. All my nails are different lengths and she didn't polish the whole nail, she left a lot of blank space. Only giving two stars because my sister got her nails done by a man here at the same time and hers are beautiful. And I still paid $55 for this terrible job read more

She did very good on my nails but I did have a few problems here. I was very suspicious of this place with all of its bad reviews, but my friend insisted on a lady named Lindsey and told me she'd pay for it if I tried her out. When I got there I asked for Lindsey about five times and they told me the lady I was going to was Lindsey, but it was a woman named Kim. Next, when she added the acrylics on, she super glued them from the bottom, gluing the whole tips of my fingers to the nail. Then when it was time to paint them, I brought my own polishes and she wouldn't use them, and insisted I use gel which cost extra. After multiple times of telling her no, she finally used my polishes. She was also very rough with the drill and the file, but the end result turned out very pretty besides the glue all underneath my nails. read more

I told her she was too rough and she stopped for a little bit and then went right back to it. The polish on my toes looks horrible it's like wiped off of one toe. Went to get my lashes done last week, and Lindsay was amazing. She was very detailed in explaining everything to me, and took her time and showed me throughout the process with her mirror, to ensure everything she did was to my liking. Be prepared to sign a waiver for the lashes because of the glue, lash hair, etc. risks that come with them. The process took about an hour, and they looked great in the end. She told me they should last for about a month, but that i should do my follow up visits every 3-4 weeks to get them filled in. read more

I came here a few days ago to get my acrylic nails removed, which they charge $10 for. They gave me a bowl of acetone to soak my fingers in, and the lady who was there failed to remove my previous nail polish color, which was a bright red color, about 20 minutes later, another lady removes my hands from the bowl and there is red all over my fingers and palms. She was in awe, but she immediately got a cotton ball and began trying to remove it. When she realized it wasn't coming off very well, she literally took a nail file and started scraping my hands, which was very painful but I decided not to say anything for some reason. I ended up paying her $20, because I had nothing else on me. Later on, I couldn't even move my fingers without it hurting, and when I finally took a closer look at my fingers, they were all scraped up. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. read more

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE I went in for a pedicure, a fill, and to replace three broken nails. The pedicure was fine until they said it was three extra dollars to add a "scrub massage". First, who charges extra for scrub? Second, that was not a massage. Even the "massage" with lotion wasn't a massage. It was less than a minute of light touching. Towards the end of my fill is when I had my problem. After I went to wash my hands, I noticed that my left thumb nail was crooked, I compared it to my right thumb and saw that the right was longer and wider. I sat back down at the table and waited 15 minutes before the guy even came back to start painting. When he did come back, I pointed out my crooked and long/wide nail. He says the right one isn't long. He keeps looking at it, like he sees it, but does nothing about it. Then with crooked nail he goes at it twice with the nail file and that's it.. It's still crooked as hell. There is a reason that nail polish is painted in layers and not globbed on all at once. Either this guy didn't learn that or doesn't give a f*ck. I sat under the fan for twenty minutes waiting for my nails to dry, but it didn't even matter. As soon as I got in my car, the color on four of my nails are smudged. Interesting place. It's on walzem and a little difficult to get to from I35. It's in a small shopping center that is a little run down but the inside of the salon is not bad. 3 and a half stars for that. The staff is not too friendly in terms of talking especially the owner but they get the job done. The deluxe pedicure was the best part of the experience and they have a variety of scrubs. My nails are not the best and do not go with the price that I paid but if I'm in need of a new fill and am around I'd try them again. The guy who did my nails drilled too deep to where it hurt and kept blaming my fingers for the nails not being even. He seemed very nice but the nails were not. Natural nail tip under the white tip are not connected. A piece of the acrylic chipped off 10 minutes after leaving. Had to go home and reshape them.
