Lovely establishment! Aesthetically VERY VERY Clean Organized and massage chairs that actually work, with addition of hand massage within the chairs which was impressive. Tina actually administered my mani:pedi. This was my first time, typically I drive to Austin but was in a pinch and used to live in the neighborhood and as a Yelper I used Yelp for recommendations. And trusted what I read. Now upon entering I asked the gentleman (owner) as Tina has handed the business to her niece and her husband, if the used drills or acetone to remove gel he assured me the start gently with drill & then follow with acetone. So, pedicure fantastic but drill was used, much to my dismay. But I left it. Then onto me nails ONLY drills used throughout entire process. Both turned out Lovely. But... I DO NOT LIKE DRILLS, I am not confrontational so I let it... To my dismay nails on both toes & hands were sore for some time proceeding the appointment. So I would LOVE to return ONLY IF they follow through on their words. I AM AN ACETONE ONLY DUE TO PRIOR DAMAGE ON BITH TOE/FINGER damage as a result of drills. Cuticles on my hands needed a WHOLE lot more attention then a drill can do without damaging. But I give them 4 stars for the Clean, and Organized aesthetic. read more

I stopped by Tina Nail for a manicure when I was in San Antonio last weekend, and it was a mixed bag of an experience. The salon is nice enough, and my nails (dip manicure) actually look pretty great. The person who assisted me did a great job with the nail shape and paint. However, when they were filing the dip before doing the top coat, they somehow didn't realize that they were filing my fingers as much or more than my nails. My nails do look good, but there are still little scabs healing just near my cuticles. It was a rough manicure! This was a hard review to write since my nails look so good - but my nails are connected to some kind of beat up fingers! read more

Staff was very nice and it was very clean HOWEVER they handed me on little book with colors. When I asked if they had more colors they said no despite the wall being line with colors. Told them I needed green and they kept trying to push baby blue on me. The lady tried to start my manicure but told them I didn't want it done if they didn't have the colors I needed for the design. This nail salon has been my go-to for gel mani/pedi services over the last year in San Antonio. The salon itself is always clean and the staff is so friendly and consistent. They have ample polish/dip colors to choose from, which is great (although admittedly challenging for my own indecision, haha)! My gel pedicure is always relaxing and done to my satisfaction and generally is pretty long-lasting. My manicure tends to be a bit more hit or miss - the shaping is often not quite to my liking, despite my request for an almond shape (they tend to be inconsistent and some are almond-shaped while others are more rounded), and the gel sometimes chips or starts peeling within a week. More often than not, I've been content with the services and pricing is reasonable. read more

The prices are reasonable. The pedicure was probably the best one I have ever had. Best to me means, carefully removing cuticles and getting in around the sides of the nails. The woman that did my pedicure knew what she was doing and took her time. My gel manicure was done at that same time as my pedicure. I appreciated their efficiency and I didn't need to be there for 2+ hours. The manicure was excellent and I could not be happier.
