A week or two ago, I was browsing around on Facebook Marketplace when a listing from this pawn shop caught my eye. It was advertising a shiny bass trombone complete with mouthpiece and case, all for a very good price. I couldn't come by and check it out right away, so I messaged them with some questions first. They responded quickly and went out of their way to take some more pictures of the trombone so I could confirm what I needed to know. I came in the other day and was greeted with a warm welcome. An associate led me to where the trombone was displayed, and she handed it to me so I could inspect it before I made up my mind. I decided to buy it for a smidge below their asking price, and the payment process afterwards went quite smoothly. Asides from my positive experience here as a customer, I will note that I was pretty impressed by how clean the place was. Everything out on the sales floor was neatly arranged and organized. Lots of jewelry, tools, musical instruments, handbags, etc. on display for your viewing pleasure. Items are reasonably priced, and you can tell that they are well maintained while they're here. I've bought a ring from them. They turned a long necklace into a bracelet and a shorter necklace, resized a ring for me, and repaired a broken prong on a diamond ring. I see several people comment about perceived racism with this shop. Hate to break it to you, they are rude to everyone. Their gun prices are insanely unrealistic. Well used and worn guns are listed at well above retail prices. Every time you ask to look at an item behind the counter or in the case, they act like you are the most demanding customer ever. God forbid you ask the ladies behind the counter for assistance during their social hour, you will get the most reluctance help ever. I have no clue how this place stays open. Went in here to look at guns "on sale" because there was a sign outside. To my surprise there were NO guns on sale it's a ploy to get you to walk in. When inside the old man was helping me, I'm assuming he's the owner and while I'm looking at 1,500$ hand gun I asked him to see another one. His response was "I don't have all day to be showing you guns". I told him he obviously didn't want to make sale today so I walked out. After talking to a few people I've heard he's an asshole to most of the customers and employees. Needless to say I will never be returning and would not recommend this store to anyone!!!!! read more

Never sell anything to these guys unless you're white. Me & my friends did a test. We took the same item in a few weeks apart. First week my mexcian friend was quoted 85 dollars for the item. (This is an item that retails for 900 dollars & frequently sells used for 5-600) they offered him 90$ for it & were dismissive & rude. Second week my black friend went in & they accused him of stealing at first & threatened to call the police, then spitefully offered him 50$ under the table without a drivers licenceor paperwork done so it could be "off the books". Then I myself went in the next week (white male under 40) I was greeted with kindness & they even offered to help me unload the item after offering me 350 dollars.. this is all the same item! If you're a racist bigot I guess this store is for you! Hope this helps stop this awful perpetuation of hate. read more

I went to this establishment after I got a few complaints from my subordinates about racism. I went to inquire about a firearm. I am a middle aged African American male. I make around 90k a year but when I walked into the store I was not greeted by any personnel. No one said anything to me the whole time I was there. 4 Hispanic families came in after me and got service immediately with a smile. They have two locations and the same occurrence happened at both it was like I was invisible to them. I served 10 years in the Marines before I became a government civilian and I have never gotten service like that even in other countries! Please take this into consideration and see how they serve natural Americans vs immigrants yourself. This type of customer service angers me and I have told many of my subordinates on the Air Force Base to steer clear of this establishment. I am working to get the word out to more organizations.
