As a customer, I received excellent service from Supervisor Marwan Saleh at the Dimond Post Office in Santa Ana, CA. He listened carefully to my complaint and provided valuable feedback and suggestions. Marwan asked for my patience as he worked with the Postmaster General to address the issue. I later received a phone call from another supervisor at the same Dimond Post Office, informing me that he had made progress but suggested I take my complaint directly to the Postmaster General. However, Marwan promptly called me back to reassure me that he was personally handling my case and would keep me updated on the final resolution. I reviewed this office on their SECOND yelp account, which they created to "start fresh". They failed. Horribly. Rather than changing their behavior, providing better support, and DOING THEIR JOB, they tried to start a new page. Laughable. I asked my sender to resend me the package using FEDEX. Do the same. I'm in Human Resources and I've never wanted to have someone terminated like I did today. Art, who's at the front, always seems to be irritated. There's always an issue for him him to NOT do his job or be extremely condescending. Boxing up something? Don't dare ask him for tape. The BS excuse he gave to not reach for the tape? It will block the address. Him..excuse me?! Am I not capable of tapping around the label? Forgot a notice? How dare you ask him to look it up in the system with your ID? You should go home and find it. I was utilizing a priority mail box for priority mail, and I was told I could not use them. The boxes are free, I am paying postage, so I don't understand why I could not use them. And here's some advice, IF there is a reason why we can't use them, explain it. Don't just bark that you can't accept the box. This guy gave every person in line a hard time, and not once did he make the transaction pleasant or seamless...for ANYONE. The only time I see him be some what personable is when there are other staff members present. Management, please do not leave him unsupervised. His manners can appear racist or sexist and he's a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

Haha... The lady-workers that I've interacted with are usually grumpy or lack courtesy. I don't have stamps a lot of the time, so the times that I don't, I like to go inside and send it out through the counter. Well, I get how that can get annoying, but hey, I'm young and stupid, so be a little nice. The lady tells me "next time, buy stamps, because it's a waste of our time if you send one letter." My bad, man. But I did buy Forever Stamps cause that was pretty smart. .44c compared to the .48c (?) now. SAVED FOUR CENTS PER STAMP, WHADDUP. Another time I was here, the same lady was handling a customer in front of me. He was trying to send a package, I think, but there was a problem. She starts YELLING at him, because it was pretty obvious that he couldn't understand her and spoke only Spanish. She had zero patience. Dude. You're in Santa Ana. A good majority of the population are Spanish speakers. Speaking Spanish should be a requirement. That whole scene really ticked me off. Especially once it was my turn, she gave me a look of "could you believe what I have to put up with?" And I'm like "just send my letter cause I ain't got stamps." Some people are just mean. Really rude and incompetent people who work here. I was home the entire time and I have double doors. I left one open so just I'm case a package came in and I could hear the doorbell. The mailman didn't bother to knock on the door neither did he try to ring the doorbell! Generally, they are suppose to knock or ring the doorbell. I mean not doing it all day but at least twice. I went to this post office and told the man at the front desk but all he did was interrupt me. I'm trying to explain my situation don't you date interrupt me. He kept telling me "listen, no listen..." Etc etc and that really ticked me off. I think you should listen to your customer'a concerns. I'm not hear to listen to you. You need to listen to me and my problem with your customer service. I don't want to hear your snarky replies and your terrible attitude. The phone is always on busy. And calling actual customer service on the usps hotline is terrible too! Everything is automated. One good tip is to ignore the automated robot and keep pressing 0 until you get a person on the line. Literally the worst. My package has been stuck there for the last 10 days. Another post office in Santa Ana gave me the direct number to this location but either no one picks up the phone or the busy tone starts blaring after I dial. The customer service is terrible. Firstly, I took a whole day off to try and receive my package near the door the whole day. So when the mail came I should've heard the doorbell or at least knocking, but not a single thing. Later on, I discovered that they had left a notice. How is that in anyway fair? Just because my car was in the garage and the driveway is open doesn't mean you can automatically leave my house. The hours are terrible. If you have any kind of job,you're screwed because the office is open 9-4 on weekdays, and you can't pick up packages on weekends. I guess I'm screwed and I need to take another day-off huh. Another thing is that the cellphone listed just plainly doesn't work. Wow the shittiest USPS ever. There is no parking lot for customers so you have to find street parking which is nearly impossible. They have shitty hours of operation... 9-4pm weekdays and closed Saturday's.. how the hell am I supposed to pick up my package if I work 8-5?!? I got a P.O. box here and was both surprised and disappointed at the box hours. 9-5 m-f. I work in San Gabriel Valley and could never pick up my mail bc I was never around during open hours. I just opened a new box at a post office that has 24 hr box hours. Never thought of to ask before, just figured they were all open for box service longer than regular window service hours. read more
