I pretty much never go to a post office but today I needed to mail some medical equipment priority with tracking. I was a bit apprentice after reading all the negative reviews online but I was pleasantly surprised at this office. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. The staff I observed acted professional and were friendly. The person that helped me (I didn't get her name but she was a younger black woman) was very knowledgeable and courteous. I was in and out of the office in about 10 minutes and I didn't experience any of the issues that people are complaining about here. read more

I went to the Santa Ana Post Office at approximately 4:40 p.m., before their posted closing time of 5:00 p.m. There were only two employees working at the counter: a man and a woman wearing a red vest. I picked up a form and politely asked the woman if it was the correct form for an international shipment. Instead of responding professionally, she loudly stated, "We don't do them at this time," in a way that everyone in the lobby could hear. She did not apologize or offer any assistance. She then said there were only 10 minutes left until closing, even though it was still before 5:00 p.m. and there were only five people ahead of me in line. A few minutes later, she again announced that they do not process international shipments near closing time, claiming that it takes more than five minutes. She then went to lock the side door and came back to me while I was still waiting in line. She repeated that they would not process my international shipment because they were about to close. I told her that I had already heard her say that multiple times and that I simply needed to pay for the envelope. She continued to insist that I did not need to pay for the envelope instead of addressing my concerns or offering any solution. What was most frustrating was that after 5:00 p.m., several additional customers were still allowed to enter the post office. In fact, as I was leaving, four more people walked in, and there was a line extending out the door. I do not understand why I was refused service for an international shipment when I arrived before closing and other customers were still being allowed into the building. I found the employee's tone and behavior unprofessional, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. I believe customers who arrive before closing should be treated respectfully and provided with clear, courteous explanations regarding any service limitations. read more

Meh it's ok. Not as bad as some post offices but not very friendly like others. The lady who helped me didn't really speak English well (I speak Spanish fluently so it wasn't Spanish she spoke - I think this employee spoke Chinese since my kids take Chinese in school so I recognize some - but her language for sure wasn't fluent English which was unfortunate) Also be warned they have 2 doors to enter the building and they open at 8:30am. So even though I got there at 8:05 am and I was by far the first in line I had the misfortune to stand by the door they opened second (outside door) so I ended up being 7th in line and the people that got there after me at the inside door got in first. The lady employee literally walked by me standing at the door to open the other door! Frustrating! TIP: at least today December 2025 they open the INTERIOR door before the exterior door. Unlike some locations that are appointment only for passports you can do occasional walk ins here but check the days/times first since they are very specific! Also be warned: if you show up after hours and want to drop off mail in the outdoor drive thru mailbox: you CAN'T because they lock the exterior mailboxes (you know the big blue ones) after hours now to prevent mail theft! read more

I was there last week when a wondeful lady was working, Elaine Terry. Apparently she rotates branches, so she's there only some of the time. She was fun, cheerful, efficient, and awesome! She joked alittle, and I loved it. I wish all the tellers knew their stuff like her, and made the atmosphere more enjoyable. An older lady got really cranky/upset with her and I watched the whole thing play out. IMO, the customer seemed dead set on being a hater of this employee. Anyhow, if only all employees could be more like Elaine, I'd enjoy waiting in line and coming in more! (We had a package we missed delivery on, so had to come get it.) Stopped by to drop off a birthday card and it was packed and one guy was taking forever on the kiosk and it was stressing me out and I already had a stamp on my envelope! Found parking easy, but if your'e looking for a quick drop-off in the afternoon and need to speak to someone at the counter, prepare to wait. This was the closest post office at the time that I could get to before 5 p.m. No complaints, but it's definitely a neighborhood favorite so if you don't want to wait in line find another post office that's not as popular. read more

They meant to change my neighbor's mail lock, but instead changed my lock. They did not notify me of this mistake until I found out my old mail key no longer works. Over the next couple of days, I drove back and forth trying to figure out if I can get back my neighbor's new lock key or do I need to request a new lock change. I figured it's easier to get the keys back vs having them change the locks again. Unfortunately they lost the key and don't know how to locate it. Asked me to come back the next day AGAIN (for the 3rd time) to find out if they have the key or not. What a joke. Wasted my time and energy all because they can't do their jobs right. It's crazy to think that a big corporation like USPS is so disorganized and inefficient in their operations and system. It's ridiculous. Hopefully they don't "accidentally" change your locks and you have to go through this whole debacle like me just to get access to your mails. Do better USPS. read more

Super upset that the lady who helped me wrote the wrong zip code! The package I sent to my son on a military base oversees ended up at some other base with a different zip code! The staff here seem so unhappy, No one has a friendly smile, they seem bothered to help. One of the staff makes it known she dont speak spanish and is rude to customers who speak to her is spanish. Been coming to this location for years, its just close by, but I can see the moral has gone down, nothing like before with the previous staff. read more

I don't usually take the time to leave a negative review but I have to say this is consistently the worst post office I ever use. They are repeatedly understaffed and slow. If they had positive attitudes that may help but nobody seems to be happy working here. Go elsewhere is my recommendation. read more

Asked about my package that needed a signature upon arrival. Told, I'll leave her name out, an employee that the carrier had forged my signature and shoved my mail in my mailbox. I've been to this location twice and the first time Marlena helped me and she was extremely rude, she must hate her job because she is not a nice person, no customer service skills at all. I thought maybe, ok she must of had a bad day that day. Second time was today and again Marlena was literally yelling at Hanna another worker and making fun of her in front of everyone. Then the "supervisor" came out (romerie)and instead of helping the situation they started to laugh and be rude to Hanna, I felt so bad for her I almost said something to them. I've never encountered a person so disgustingly rude here. As someone who deal with severe social anxiety, a This was by far one of the most horrible experiences of my life. The lady who helped me out was extremely rude although I had an appointment, i understand they were busy, but there's no need to treat another human being with such horrible costumer service. She was a Hispanic worker with black hair and heavy eyeliner.. wish I had her name. She made me feel very dumbfounded. The staff at this location was extremely rude! I had passport appointment at different location at 2.45pm. at 12pm the customer service called and stated that he transferred my appointment to this location. I came 15 minutes early and notified the staff I had appointment at 2.45pm. She told me "the passport service was closed for the day"?!. I explained to her the situation that I had appointment and was transferred from different location (they should have notified her). She then told me "to go sit outside" for 1 hours?!. I was not sure where to sit, where and how to check in for the appointment....her only response was "sit outside for 1 hours"!!. I was trying to remind her that my appointment was at 2.45pm, but she couldn't care less. I have never experienced such a rude employee from USPS like staffs at these stations.. read more

Eileen tracked down the issue and provided so much assistance and answered all of my questions with ease and humor. What I like about this Post Office is that their OPEN 24 hours, just the self Serve Kiosk and if you rent a P.O. What more can be said about a USPS office? Open Saturdays, which is not true of all locations so that is very nice. Building is easy to spot, the honking long building when you plug the address into Google Maps. Lots of parking, especially during COVID times. People seem to have a mixed bag with some of the workers, but if you've ever been to a post-office same can be said about the types of customers that go through in a day (one of them, lots of us). I've never had a bad experience here, and safety precautions are in place for COVID. read more
