This review is for Husqvarna Automowers services and dealer Diamond Rentals in Oak Harbor, WA. Brandon, in service and sales is very knowledgeable about the Husqvarna Automowers. He worked on our two Husqvarna Automowers and did warranty work for one of them and yearly services on the other. We are very happy with the work and efficiency. We would suggest going to Oak Harbor Diamond Rentals for your Husqvarna Automowers to buy or get service. We live over a hour a way from them and they are not the closet to us. But worth it! We called lots of the Husqvarna Automowers dealers and servicers in this region and Brandon was the ONLY knowledgeable one. All of the rest of the Automower dealers both north and south in this region are not knowledgeable or nice. We started with a Bellingham WA location Automower dealer and even bought our first auto mower from them. We do not suggest going to the Bellingham Location. They are not helpful, difficult to reach, and simply don't have the expertise to service what they sold. Ultimately a huge disappointment. (Thankfully we found Brandon in Oak Harbor to service our Automowers.) read more

Easy rental and workable equipment! Friendly people. Checking and return was fast and painless.

I have interacted with the staff on a number of occasions. All were friendly. Now I must say that I have only rented from them and have not purchased equipment nor had service done on any equipment. Therefore this is only for my rental experience. Good reasonable rental quote and they stuck to it. Only thing I recommend is that you call immediately (even a weekend day) to say you are finished with the equipment or drop it right back to them. They will keep billing if you "forget" to return it or call for a pick up. Just words to the wise. Clean your rented gear! If you borrow it from a neighbor, you would clean it and return it in the same shape received correct (and maybe with a nice bottle of wine)? Try it you'll like it. read more

When they were open in Anacortes they were great. The oak harbor location is terrible. They didn't help when I came to return, there were no instructions on where and how to return. I waited for almost half an hour trying to find someone's to take the tool back. Then they were rude because I walked in through the back to find someone. They suck. read more

If you decide to use this place to have your equipment repaired you should be aware you can't believe anything they say. Nasty people as well (front desk has very nice, sweet people)! They tell you one thing and then have you sign a small font document that says something completely different. Shame on me for not taking the time to read all the paperwork. I just wanted my weed eater serviced. When I went in I asked how much it would be. I was told it would be about 2-3 weeks and they would call me and give me an estimate, at which time I could repair it or pick it up. I was told it probably wouldn't cost very much to service and no mention of any estimate fee. During the approximate 2 months they kept it I called numerous times to check the status only to be told they would get to it soon. On my last call I was told they had been trying to reach me but didn't have a correct number. My number was verified each time I called. They couldn't get it right after 5 verifications. I talked to the Mechanic who explained it wasn't worth fixing. He was very nice and professional and they trashed it with my approval. About 3 weeks later I received a bill for $35 and change. I thought it was a mistake believing the estimate was free. I then received another bill including a $5 finance fee. I called to straighten it out. I was educated by being told I signed a contract stating I would pay $39 for an estimate, although they only charged me $34. I already had trashed the doc when they trashed my weed eater. Being an honest person and not having the docs to check I said I would pay the estimate and asked if the finance charge could be dropped. I was told no! Additionally, he told me more charges will be accumulating until it's enough to turn over to collections and he didn't care what I thought was fair. I signed a contract. He explained how nice they were for not charging me $3 a day for storage since "I" gave them the wrong contact number (5 verifications?). Extremely unprofessional business with zero customer care. To the business owner: the check including the finance fee will be mailed today. Hey, it's under $45, not much. Only a third the cost of a new on. However, I will never set foot on your property again. I will also recommend to anyone that listens not to use your business as well as initiating additional social media posts. People listen!! Not because I was wrong for not reading the docs. Not because I actually owed the money. But, because there was no verbal disclosure up front and because of how I was treated to the point of being threatened on the phone in an unprofessional, uncaring way. I will feel as though I got my money back the first time I can direct my farmer friends to a more friendly business. TO THE PEOPLE: I RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! read more

About 2 years ago I bought a Husqvarna Automower model 315X after much research it came highly recommended. Shortly after it was installed and up and running the mower started giving errors; Collision Rear while sitting in the middle of my yard. Turns out the error was caused by grass clippings, which makes no sense because this is a lawnmower. the mower has been stuck in many places where the guidewire is. The final straw was when it stopped mowing my front yard. Husqvarna tech support sent me back to the installer, he said that a new part would be here in a few days 18 days and no parts. 0% Error Battery Temp, outside limits As the mower sits in the charmer then a few days later 99% STOPPED Manual action required Enter the code 3 times and nothing happened. I bought this very expensive lawn mower because I am disabled and need a very reliable mowing system, what I got was a mower that is unreliable and no support from the seller and no support from Husqvarna Group · Customer service. Now I have a $3,000.00lawn mower in my backyard that will not cut my lawn. If you are thinking about this type of mower you should think twice about such a purchase. Just walked in the store with $39,000 cash ready to purchase the F-250 they have parked out front. Unfortunately when I was in the store, no one in the store acknowledged me. I walked around for about 5min with no acknowledgement whatsoever. Very poor customer service. Oh well, its a loss for them. Might I add, Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover... An ordinary guy wearing regular clothing just might be someone that could buy your store and all its equipment 10Xs over. Have a good one! read more

The worst customer service on or off the island. If you need anything repaired, this is the absolutely the last place you should consider. Absolutely the last!! Here's why... My 81 year old father purchased a brand new Husqvarna lawn tractor from Diamond for ~$2k. Diamond didn't properly prep the tractor for delivery, resulting in an oil filter that wasn't properly tightened, which caused it to leak, ultimately requiring a $1,200+ motor replacement on an 18 month lawn tractor. The latest example? In September of 2020 the tractor required another repair, this time a leaking sealed bearing. As of this review, the lawn tractor is still at the repair shop, after 6 months. On top of that, Diamond has not initiated a single attempt to update him on the status of the repair. As a result, my father, now 83 year old, has repeatedly had to call and/or drive down to Diamond begging to get an update on when he can expect his lawn tractor back. Inexplicably Diamond never seems to have an answer. COVID or no COVID this is inexcusable. I will NEVER buy a Husqvarna anything (I challenge you to try and contact Husqvarna's U.S. corporate offices). This is one local business that needs to get its act together. read more

Very impressed with the service we received at Diamond Rentals. The staff was great and knowledgeable and explained the equipment and instructions in detail and loaded it all for us! Upon returning the equipment they had their doors open bright and early and unloaded for us as well! Met the manager and was impressed to learn he grew up in OH and has been running a great business for our community for years. This was the only facility with in an hours drive that had a floor sander with a bag and the best prices. This is the best rental place around. Great prices, very helpful staff. I could not accomplish as much as I do without their great equipment. They have drop off and pick up service. They always have just what I need. When I'm not sure what is needed to get the job done they help assess the needs and find the right tool for the job. Great repair service also. Experienced a communication error with the rental department on what machine could lift 1,000 plus pounds. After taking the machine home and finding out it was incapable of lifting such heavy weight. I returned it and they sent a forklift and an operator to unload all my pallets at no additional cost. Very pleased, how business should be done. read more
