Parking instructions here were very unclear. What we initially believed were parking spaces turned out to be a line of cars waiting to park, with no visible signage where we entered. When we noticed an opening, we asked nearby drivers if we could squeeze in, and they had no issue with it. As we were parking, an employee approached us in a very aggressive and unprofessional manner and told us we could not park there. We apologized and explained that we were not from the area and had not seen any signs. We were told that the rule was "well known to locals" and that a sign existed at the front of the line--more than 25 cars ahead, making it impossible for us to see. Despite the surrounding drivers having no objection, the employee demanded we leave and became increasingly hostile when we asked questions or requested a manager. At that point, the interaction escalated unnecessarily, and we decided it wasn't worth the confrontation and left. I've never experienced such a level of rudeness from a staff member over an honest misunderstanding. Clear signage and more professional communication would have avoided the entire situation. Someone even yelled out "stop being a parking nazi". I would have otherwise liked to review the venue itself, but we were unable to do so as we never made it inside. read more

Diana's Bath is a natural pool with some small waterfalls. The walk from the parking lot is about .6 miles one way, it's a quick and easy hike to reach this gorgeous spot. There is a parking lot and we were able to find parking but I'm sure it gets full at peak times. We enjoyed the hike and the waterfalls. It was in late May so there were quite a few people there. It's a peaceful spot to relax, sit in the pool, and just enjoy nature. I'm glad my family and I got to visit during this trip! read more

We came here on a nice Friday around 10:00am. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait to get in. The parking lot is kind of small so you have to wait for someone to leave to get a spot. When you park there is a kiosk to pay that takes credit cards. At the start of the trail there is a bathroom that is just a big outhouse. It was a little rough so I recommend not using it if you get sick easy. The hike is short and easy to the water. When you get there it is a little tough climbing over rocks and tree roots. We spend time in the water. It was not deep anywhere we were so not really swimming just cooling off or sun tanning on the rocks. read more

Overall great experience. Easy hike for the whole family that's mostly flat and only 0.6 miles. There are some benches along the way to sit and rest. The falls themselves are nice to see and there are a lot of rocks if you want to climb those and explore. Only issue we faced was the difficulty parking. The parking lot seemed to be basically always full, so unless you are willing to circle around until someone leaves, it may be hard to find a spot unless you go during off hours. Unfortunately the roads leading to the trail do not allow roadside parking. read more

Beautiful place to visit on a hot and sunny July day. We were so happy to find that they now have parking attendants to regulate the flow. Instead of a an experience where you circle around the lot and only MIGHT get lucky to have your turn around the loop perfectly timed to grab a space, they now have attendants policing the one-out/one-in system. There was a line but it moved relatively quickly. We were two cars of visitors and we both were able to park at the same time. The fee is five dollars per car unless you have a national parks pass which allows you to park for free along with everyone who is in your car. There is a wide hiking trail that takes you directly to the baths, easy for children and hikers of all levels. The waterfalls are beautiful: level after level takes you higher up the waterway. Historical plaques are dotted about bringing a depth of knowledge about the baths to visitors. The sounds, smells and sights all delight the senses and make for a relaxing and refreshing day. read more

After a short .6 mile hike you come to an area where you can play and hang out in the water and on rocks. It was pretty crowded, very hard to get a parking spot in the small lot, but worth it. The kids loved climbing and playing in the waterfalls. read more

What a place!!!! It's a beautiful 3/4s mile walk through the New Hampshire white mountains. It's fairly level and the path wide enough for a carriage, stroller or wheelchair to get through. Though once to the falls, a wheelchair wouldn't be able to continue. You walk over a wooden bridge or two, and come to the borrow of the falls. It's a small pool, with crystal clear waters and rocks of all shapes and sizes. As you walk up the falls, there are different levels and sections to explore, each a bit higher up than the last. Swimming is definitely allowed, but only done by the brave, or anyone on a really really hot summer day. The traffic here is the only major downfall. The only thing that keeps locals away during the summer season. Starting around 8 am, a line forms, getting bigger and bigger throughout the day. You see once the lot fills up (which it does very quickly in the summertime) the line begins. You must wait for others to finish their turn in the falls and on the trails, before a parking spot can open up. There is NO PARKING ALONG THE ROADSIDE, and they will TOW you. It's $5 to park in the lot. Bring lots of sun block, snacks and maybe something to read. It's a great little natural water park. Check it out in the area !!! read more

Diana's Baths is a beautiful state park that offers a relatively easy hike to see a waterfall. The path is surrounded by cascading trees and the temperature was perfect for walking. Once at the top, the view was gorgeous. This park is easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The parking lot attendant told us it's wheelchair accessible, but oh man it was a disaster, my husband struggled to take me up the trail, n other people who saw had to try and help him, problem is lots of rocks n branches on trail. I've been to the Baths twice! Once in early June several years ago and once in early August. I personally had a much more pleasant time going in early June because it wasn't as busy with families and people. This past visit it was quite difficult to park and there were people on top of each other in the water and very loud. I preferred the more tranquil and relaxing experience to really enjoy the scenery and water and soak up the amazing natural wonder. The baths are a short walk from the parking lot- about 10 minutes on flat terrain. It is $5 to park and you can either pay with cash or online. I would recommend wearing water proof gripping shoes since the rocks can be quite slippery in the water. Definitely worth a visit! read more

This is one of the reasons why we have to love our earth and protect it our nature is so amazing and tremendously beautiful. Diana's baths is one of the beauty, easy access from the main drag of North Conway,NH. Walking path is very easy and not that long,probably around half a mile of walking. The trail is mostly flat except from some few muddy spots. We went on a last week of October and it was a bit chilly so there's not much people around but I'm sure if you're going on summer time waiting line is long and the place has not much parking spot so I'm pretty sure that it will be hard to find one. There's a $5 fee to go inside which is not much but you'll be surprise how beautiful the place is read more

While visiting New England, I was looking for some fun activities for my family. I came upon some pictures of Diana's Baths, and I knew my family would enjoy it. There was a short, relatively flat trail that leads to the baths. There are a number of rocks with waterfalls where visitors can wade or swim. The water is very cool and refreshing. I recommend this beautiful place to people of all ages! Parking can be an issue. We went on a Sunday in July, so it was very busy. There is only one parking lot, where a $5 cash payment is required. If the lot is full, cars must wait in line until another car leaves the lot. Parking along the side of the road is prohibited and can result in a $100 fine. The closest parking other than the lot mentioned is about a mile or so away. read more

I GOTTA TELL YOU that I really didn't appreciate the way the trees were leaning !! And honestly I really felt that the rivers should have been a little warmer! If you're visiting the area and looking for someplace to go for an hour or so, this place is it. Great for all ages as the trail is easy peasy at about .6 mile and very flat but you can go farther up the rocks to the upper falls as we did. Very cool spot to spend the day. We went when it was not particularly crowded (compared to other reviews) and had a really special afternoon pool hopping. Bring water shoes or sandals to walk across the rocks in the pools, and while it's pretty much accessible to get to the base of the falls, going higher is less smooth terrain. Try to confine things to backpacks and not a wagon or stroller if you plan to go higher (or be prepared to leave it unattended for a bit). read more

Was visiting from NY with some family members. My cousin that lives in New Hampshire recommended us to visit and hike here. OMG! I loved it! The hike was not long , maybe about quarter mile one way. I loved the view of the mini falls . It was so relaxing. It had snowed and the hike was a bit slippery but luckily I had just purchased some hiking boots! We came with a fall tour group in early October and it was not crowded at all so there were no parking issues even for a big bus. A nice light hike to multiple little falls and baths and big rocks. As with anywhere in New Hampshire involving water you can swim in, the over abundance of fat people stops this little woodland gem from getting full marks. Lovely scenery, beautiful habitat it suffers from being so accessible as to attract a few too many people. This place is absolutely amazing. It's the perfect walking distance from the parking lot (0.6 miles), and the path is clearcut. At the other end of that path is a plain of rocks that extends uphill for hundreds of yards. Be sure to wear your bathing suit on hot summer days, because over, on top, and in between those rocks cascades the freshest water you've ever "bathed" in! Bring a couple beers (just make sure you clean up after yourselves!) and a good group of friends, and camp out at this unique spot for a few hours. If you're not in a drinking mood, pack some yummy snacks! Say, some Cape Cod chips with plain yogurt to dip 'em in! It might sound weird, but trust me, it's phenomenal. DON'T FORGET to pack a self-timing camera and have yourselves a BLAST!!! This place is perfect for the corniest of photography, and I highly suggest you take full advantage. Feel free to refer to my photos for some examples, inspiration, vision, rumble, spark, etc. The rocks are super fun to play on, too! I dunno about you, but hopping stones over cold treacherous waters brings me back to my childhood days. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but seriously, be careful! I loved our visit to Diana's Baths while in the White Mountains last summer! I definitely wouldn't describe this as a "hike" as the falls are only a half mile or so of smooth, manicured path from the parking lot. As others have mentioned, you really should pay the $3 to park, as it goes towards the park, and the park is priceless. So you get to Diana's Baths, park, slip three dollars in an envelope and then walk a half mile through a big, beautiful forest. The baths are really a series of rock waterfalls, with cool, clear water gurgling and bubbling from a river above. This is one of those places that you should take your kids, so they learn to love nature, and bring their own kids some day! I went with my then-fiance, now husband, who was raised primarily in New Hampshire and remembers going there when he was little. So cute. Almost as cute as the forgotten Batman action figure I found hanging out on a rock in the falls! If you're within an hour drive of this spot, you should hit it up. It's worth the visit! read more

Absolute heaven. I went to this state park when I was a young child at summer camp and just returned for the first time in over 20 years! It was even better than I remembered. There is a very easy .5 mile walk/hike from the parking lot to this amazing place. As you're approaching Diana's Baths, you can hear the flow of the water and before you know it, you're standing at the base of a series of gorgeous waterfalls and natural pools along Lucy Brook. You can swim, hike, climb on the rocks, or just sit in one of the many crystal-clear natural pools on a hot day and be thankful that there are places like this in the world. read more

A nice half mile walk down a wide well maintained path to a lovely series of pools and small waterfalls. Given this summer's dry conditions the waterfalls were very weak. I'm sure they would be more interesting in most other years. A good place to cool off on a hot day. Lots of families with kids here. Being post - Labor Day it was not too busy but I can only guess that this place is crazy crowded on summer weekends. There is a small fee to park. read more

What a gorgeous area and beautiful falls! This 4th we visited the area and decided to take a hike up to the falls. We skipped paying for parking since we parked outside the park and hiked up. The hike itself was beautiful and not as intense as we thought it would be. There were a few areas that called for crossing the water but it was welcomed on a warm day. The falls themselves were great and swimming in the water was nice. The water was freezing which was nice but sunbathing on the rocks was the best part. The falls were packed in certain areas, but everyone was kind and it didn't seem chaotic. The one tip I have is pack lightly if you are hiking up. The incline can be a bit tough in places. read more
