This exceptional establishment serves one of my favorite breakfasts during my visit thus far. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and seated. The staff super friendly. The ambiance reflects a classic diner-style setting. The cuisine is of outstanding quality. My order was the corned beef omelette, accompanied by potatoes and a croissant. Parking is street parking, parallel parking. We got lucky and managed to nab a parking right out front.

We stopped here after shopping to grab a bite to eat. The inside was so clean and quaint. We were greeted immediately and seated. Service was really good they were friendly and quick. I had the Dirty Diana Burger with fries and my sister had a burger with onion rings. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor. I loved the onion rings! Definitely worth stopping if you're in Chatham.

I also love that there's both a full dining room and a separate bar area, so whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down with family, it fits the occasion. It's a popular spot, and you'll usually see plenty of families and larger groups enjoying a meal. The menu is full of fresh seafood and New England favorites. The clam chowder is a great way to start, and I always order the hot lobster roll. Great food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere.

We started on the bar side, which was extremely busy and we couldn't find a seat for about 30 minutes. The only downside is that seating is first come, first serve, so you end up hovering around tables waiting for people to leave, which wasn't ideal. We eventually got frustrated and went next door. Even though they're separate, the bar and restaurant are connected, so you can easily walk between the two. We ended up having an amazing meal at the restaurant side, so it was definitely worth switching over. I highly recommend the lobster roll. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of the experience on the bar side.

I told my wife that I was going to the first restaurant I see.....which happened to be The Captain's Table.....which happened to be A GREAT FIND! This is a family owned restaurant. Our waiter, Steve, happens to be the son of the owners. He cooks, does dishes, buses tables and serves as a charismatic waiter. His dedication to his trade shines through. Now, they serve breakfast all day. If you're like me, 24 hour/day breakfast is a big sell. I had the 2-meat breakfast burrito which might very well have been THE best burrito I've ever had. They make their Bloody Mary mix and they are delicious. PLUS, the prices were reasonable (for Chatham, that is). They have both indoor and outdoor seating but just about everybody there chose the outdoor patio like us. The menu offered both breakfast and lunch items as well as some specials. I went with the Cajun grilled swordfish sandwich and it was delicious. It came with a small bag of Lay's potato chips as a side. French fries, Cole slaw or any other side would have made it better. My husband had the fish and chips, along with cole slaw. He also enjoyed his food.
