The wait at the sidewalk gives you an opportunity to peruse the posted menu. Our wait was short, and we were able to chose a patio table on this pleasant morning. This small restaurant has a full bar and two tap beer selections. Definitely a local, casual vibe here. This morning I opted for the Oatmeal Walnut Cranberry Oatmeal, $7. Frankly, it had a to thick, almost goopy texture, but it was very tasty. The warm oatmeal was slightly sweet, a touch of cinnamon, and I loved the cranberries and periodic crunch of the walnuts. Hubs couldn't decide so he ordered both the Classic Eggs Benedict and the 2 stack Pancakes. Both of these breakfast entrees were very good, and he shared! The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and sat atop a thick cut of Smokey Canadian bacon. Very good. The pancakes were delish, too, and served with real maple syrup. Food seemed slow to arrive, but otherwise a delicious breakfast experience at the Captain's Table. Also, discount for cash payment.

We went here for breakfast, and it was a good spot. There's a lot of outdoor and indoor seating. Seems like more of a lunch spot, but the breakfast menu is not bad. Service was quick and friendly. No complaints.

We stopped in for a quick drink and the staff were so nice and friendly. It's a quaint little spot, and we sat at the bar and had a delicious 'Perfect Storm' and Dark and Stormy. We didn't have the opportunity to eat but everything looked great. Definitely a nice little stop.

Very cute restaurant on Main Street, right in the middle of several nice boutiques. There is street parking, but my family and I parked in a public free parking lot next to a public park and enjoyed the short walk over to the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is quiet. Everyone was talking quietly to not disturb anyone else. Several tables, no booths, one small bar top. The food was delicious- we had the fish and chips (chips could've been better but oh well), swordfish (amazing!), crab cake sandwich, and tuna salad wrap. We also had clam chowder and Caesar salads. The clam chowder was a little bland but nothing a sprinkle of salt could fix. Service was attentive and kind. They do charge a small 4% credit card fee. It looks like they have outdoor seating but it's October so we didn't inquire about it. Would return again!

We started on the bar side, which was extremely busy and we couldn't find a seat for about 30 minutes. The only downside is that seating is first come, first serve, so you end up hovering around tables waiting for people to leave, which wasn't ideal. We eventually got frustrated and went next door. Even though they're separate, the bar and restaurant are connected, so you can easily walk between the two. We ended up having an amazing meal at the restaurant side, so it was definitely worth switching over. I highly recommend the lobster roll. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because of the experience on the bar side.

I was super excited to try this place, but was honestly a bit disappointed with how it turned out…read more For starters, it was extremely loud, and it was pretty hard to hear the people I was sitting with. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty and tiny. And finally, the my food wasn't great. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, and was super disappointed. The wrap was too wet, the chicken had no seasoning and was ice cold, and the lettuce was extremely moist and slimy. It just didn't taste fresh. Also very little Caesar dressing. The only good thing in my meal were the fries and the pickle. I will say, however, the service was pretty good. Our waitress was super nice and got our food out quickly despite it being packed. They also had a bingo game going which was cool. I would come here for fries and drinks, but not really for the food.

Perfect for a rainy day takeout dinner on game night. We got the megalodon, nurse shark, thresher…read moreshark, and tiger shark.

This was, without question, the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The bartender who…read moreserved us was unbelievably rude, disrespectful, and acted like we were bothering him simply by being there. Every interaction felt hostile, and he made absolutely no effort to be polite or professional. It took forever to get our food, and whenever we needed something, he either ignored us or acted annoyed that we asked. His attitude was terrible from the moment we sat down until we left. I've never had a server make customers feel so unwelcome. Working in customer service means treating people with basic respect, and he completely failed to do that. If you don't want to deal with customers, then bartending is the wrong job. His behavior reflected poorly on the entire restaurant and completely ruined our experience. I almost never leave one-star reviews, but this experience deserved it. No customer should have to put up with that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address how this employee treats people because he's driving customers away. I won't be coming back, and I certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting even average service. The guy was a fat white man with a hat and and black hair and beard who shows 0 respect to anyone and deserves to be terminated when I was on my phone on call with my boss he in a very disrespectful tone told me to quote on quote "kill it" and gave me the most nasty look maki by it seem like he wanted me dead which made me feel very threatened. the WORST part was the fact I was with my blind friend and he called him quote on quote "shades and out group found it unbelievably disrespectful and when we were on our way out I gave him constructive criticism to be nicer to his customers and he told me to quote on quote "never come back I better never see your face again"
