    The Mad Tuna (SOOOO GOOD)
    Lee W.

Overall Epic Food This place is a gem Sauces complimented every dish Perfect Cooks Vibes felt welcoming Didn't love the extra pricing stuff during final bill Appetizers were great The iced Strawberry lemonade was excellent, had a hint of a bite which i prefer in my lemonades as opposed to straight sweet Crab Cake Tater Tots were delicious! perfect balance of meat to crust, great cook, loved the Cajun Remoulade & Pickled Veggies Korean Lobster Rangoons are a must get So good inside, Loved the Gochujong Hoison sauce to accompany it Clam chowder Was Excellent tasted rich but still delicious Caesar Salad - This is a great Caesar. The homemade dressing is on point. If you are in the mood for a Caesar, this is a great place to get it Meal Side Scallops & Gnocchi. Wow this dish was sooo good. The Truffle Parm Cream sauce and Gnocchi were special. Delicious Balsamic Glaze on the sides as well The Mad Tuna - Tuna dish was out of this world. So fresh!! Tuna was the star and they seared it perfectly. This was a great cut and fresh piece of Tuna. The sauces around the plate accompanied everything well too. I liked the Wasabi, Sweet Soy & Yuzu for the Tuna. I enjoyed the Spicy Mayo & Avocado smash for the Rice Balls. My only complaint was that it could have used a little more Tuna and one extra rice ball. The rest of my party seemed full from their meals while I found myself searching for more Crab Cake Sando - Delicious but the Crab Cake Tater Tots felt like enough Crab for the cape. My advice would be to either get 1 or the other Love how many chicken strips 5 came with the kids meal French fry's were tasty. This was a great kids dish Final Bill There was a 3.75% charge for using a credit card, 2% added tip for the cooking team and then line for tip. It just all gets out of hand quickly. In my opinion, these aren't cheap meals and too many restaurants now adays are pushing extra operational costs onto the customer when the meal prices seem high enough. What happens if we got drinks too?

Hate we waited until the last night of our trip to visit but at least we got there! The fish and chips were so crispy with the corn flake crust and terrific fries! The scallops and gnocchi were divine though, with the garlicky mushroom sauce and green peas. At some point the bartender was chatting with a customer/friend next to us and showed her a new bottle they had stocked. I recognized the name from a recent trip to France, Chartreuse, googled it and decided I needed to try it since I didn't before. I found a cocktail that sounded just up my alley. I shared it with the bartender and POOF The Greenpoint appeared. Love that she was open to mixing something new up for us! Great, relaxed vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Terrific service including having the door opened for us on our way out. The little touches matter, so thank you guys! What a great evening. This spot was new for us this trip but it will definitely be added to our rotation.

We stayed in Harwich in Cape Cod and didn't want to travel too much during our trip. Mad Minnow was definitely the best food choice within walking distance. We went back twice during our stay. The Tuna cannoli was super great as an app. The burger was also phenomenal.

    Lobster roll and orzo salad.

Thomas the bartender was well versed in making a solo diner feel comfortable. Tasted a couple of wines before selecting the Sancerre delicious. He recommended the homemade orzo salad to pair with the cold lobster roll with tiny bit of mayo. Just right. Even the side pickles were tasty. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the meal and the vibe.

The scallop & gnocchi dish is so good, I can't help but get it every time now!! I hope they're able to improve the acoustics in the dining room (which is on the small side). It's not very relaxing if there are kids around, you certainly hear everyone and everything all around you. I think we'll try to eat at the bar from now on, and only come when it's just 2 of us. But, the food has been great, love the vibe, I hope they're able to make some enhancements to the space.

Very nice experience here! We came for a late lunch/ early dinner when they opened and were so pleased there were no lines and no crowds even though Harwichport was buzzing with people. Service was great and super efficient. I was even surprised at how formal the service was; when we sat down the waitress presented the menu to me like this was a fine dining establishment. Although this place is a bit pricey for what it is, the food was great and I throughly enjoyed the crab Rangoon app and my scallops roll with fries. They have a reasonably priced house beer. Would definitely return here again. While we dined inside, they also a have nice outdoor area with a bar and picnic tables.

What a great find! Mad Minnow offers high end food in a casual environment that features a family friendly outdoor dining space. A rare combo in the Cape. We show up at 5:30 and able to get an outdoor table after 10 min. They also called us after 15 min that an indoor table was available. Note if you sit outside you can order the full food menu outside with limited service but most of the drink menu requires you going inside. The tented picnic tables were perfect for all the families with kids. It is first come, first serve. The drink menu had lots of fun cocktail options as well as a great selection of local beers. The food is fantastic and offers a great variety of dishes covering Italian, Asian, and seafood. I absolutely loved the scallops and gnocchi - perfectly cooked scallops and pillowy gnocchi that just melt in your mouth. My wife enjoyed the lobster roll. The fries were especially good. The risotto with cod was excellent - a little salty for my mother in law but I thought it was seasoned well. The risotto was spot on. The kids Mac and cheese was delicious - could be a star entree side on its on. The food comes out very quickly so no long waits for hungry people. There is a shared parking lot that was busy but we managed to grab a spot. Absolutely recommend this spot.

I can't say enough but I'll try! This place is Criminally good... We stopped in for date night. It was packed and the bar was full! We stood awkwardly at the bar deciding if we were going to stay or not and we put our name on the TWO hour waitlist... and then it happened, a seat opened up at the end of the bar so I scooped it up! This place does it right. Vibes chill and laid back Staff is very knowledgeable and on top of things ie you won't sit there feeling ignored, ever!!! And the food is CRIMINALLY GOOD. Drink recs: Maryanne and Ginger Food Reds: Deviled eggs Korean lobster rangoon STREET CORN!! Short Rib Pappardelle I could probably recommend more but that's what we had for dinner tonight... We will be back!!

He whipped up the offerings on the menu but also was well prepared to concoct libations based on flavor profiles or desired outcomes. He also can be trusted to create delicious mocktails that truly deserve a callout on the menu. For food, the olive bread and leek butter are delicious (though for a group you may want two orders), the white bean dip is sufficiently garlicky, and the burger is mighty in simple but delicious taste--accompanied by French fries that reminded us all of McDonald's. I hesitated to write this review because any busier would mean smaller chances of walking in on any given night, but I cannot bring myself to gate keep a gem that would find its place in any high-standard city, let alone the haven of South Chatham.

It was a nice time to visit, relaxed and not too crowded. We ordered a Caesar salad, steak tips, fried seafood platter (fresh cod, scallops, and clams with fries and coleslaw), clam chowder, and a kids' grilled cheese. Overall, the fried seafood platter was the standout and definitely the best way to sample a bit of everything. The fish, scallops, and clams were all fresh and nicely fried, and the portion was generous. The steak tips were also solid, tender and well-seasoned. The clam chowder was decent, though not especially memorable. The kids' grilled cheese was a bit overdone on the outside and came out slightly burnt, but otherwise was fine for a simple kid's meal. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere had that classic Cape Cod waterfront feel that makes it an easy, casual dining spot. We did notice quite a few tables ordering the lobster roll, which we'll probably try next time we visit since it seemed to be one of the more popular items. Overall, Brax Landing Restaurant is a solid, casual seafood spot with good variety, worth a visit, especially for the fried seafood platter.

This is a solid option for seafood and American food in Harwich Port. My girlfriend's family all ordered a seafood dish (scallops, lobster roll, and seafood platter) but I opted for a hamburger as I am not a huge seafood fan (ironic in Cape Cod). I took a bite of some of the seafood dishes and objectively can say they were pretty good! I was a fan of my girlfriend's lobster roll. My burger was standard, but it also came with Canadian bacon which I have never seen before on a burger. It was a good addition. Fries were very good as well. Service was great. They also have waterfront dining outside. Definitely a solid option for seafood.

It was some kind of steak with a special preparation. I've looked at the restaurant menu but do not see it listed. It was a special for that evening. The restaurant had a nice Cape Cod feel to it, and it was crowded. There was a large party sitting near by and the acoustics being what they are, it was a little noisy but they left after a bit. The lighting was dim, but it was a pleasant evening and the service was great. They had a nice selection of wines. My friend had the Eggplant Vindaloo, which I had considered ordering and it was a huge serving. She took it back and ate it for several days. Another friend ordered and ate appetizers and loved the Maine Mussels Dijonnaise. I guess it was just my luck of the draw. I should have gone with my first idea and ordered the Eggplant. Or the Mussels. Despite being disappointed with my entree, it was a wonderful place to enjoy an evening with friends.
