They literally placed SCOTCH TAPE to do my lash extensions....
    Kina I.

My mom and I came here to get our lashes done after having a good experience last week with their massage. A girl named lily came to do my lashes. She began getting prepared and placed scotch tape on the side of the table. What for you ask??? Well after laying down, she started putting the tape under my eyelids and above my brows! Never had this happened to me but I just trusted the process and kept cool. The whole process was achy and uncomfortable, and she kept squeezing an empty tube to dry the lashes (weird but I waited till she finished) she didn't even bother giving me a mirror and once I looked, my lashes were literally on my eyelids and crooked! They weren't even connected to the rest of my lashes, but above the lashes! Before I could even tell them what was wrong with my lashes, they began interrupting me and saying they'll redo them and it took some arguing to get a refund. Don't waste your time, you REALLY get what you pay for! Not only did I lose time and money, my eyes are super red and it feels like I just swam in toxic water

The good thing about this place is you can get a no hassle massage fast. Relatively short wait. Very secure and trusted therapists here. They may not speak a lot of English but they will understand you. Vietnamese style so not as hard as thai style. Different than what I am used to. 50 dollars for 1 hour. Worth it? I say yes because I needed it now. Would I go back? Yes but I do prefer other places when I can schedule in advance and really enjoy a good wringing out.

Long and full lashes by Lilly!!! I love them!!!! Perfect for the festival this weekend

45$ for eye lash extensions. I took a nice nap while Lilly was attaching my extensions lol! She was very gentle. I received a shoulder massage after and will definitely be back for a massage!! I had her so long and full since I'm going to a festival this weekend!! They look fabulous!! UPDATE: $50 1 hour massage. Honestly I did not expect much from a nail salon but they have a bunch of massage rooms in the back. No music in the room so you may want to play something on your phone. The rooms are clean, The massage was good. Not exactly rhythmic but I felt relaxed when I was done. The head massage was great and not expected. The tech had tiny hands and I felt like an Avatar when she was massaging my arms lol. Her tiny hands were strong :). I will go back.

I visited Dianes based on all the yelp reviews. I got a regular manicure and a spa pedicure done. Although, I am quite happy with my pedicure, I am not even close to happy with my manicure. After almost an hour of getting my manicure done, the nail paint just came off even after drying completely. And yes, I was extremely cautious!! My only complain is the nailpaint, besides that the service was great. Also, communication is an issue but I guess its not much of a problem. Might visit Dianes again with my own bottle of nail color!

I've always wanted to try eyelash extensions but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. My nail tech told me to try Diane's because the price is reasonable. It doesn't look like a "spa" but it does get the job done. My lashes took an hour and my daughters took an hour and half. Funny because mine lasted way longer too. Lisa did my lashes and it's been 4 weeks and I still have a lot still in place. It's $45 for the initial application and $35 for refills. I have them 4 out of 5 stars because I also did a polish change and it was terrible. I will be returning for my eyelash fills just not anything else.

As soon as you check in for your appointment, there are forms you will have to complete and while you do that, you are provided with a warm face towel and soothe the nerves and to begin your relaxation treatment. The staff member that greeted me was very warm and welcoming. You are offered a luxurious robe and slippers to wear during the entirety of your spa treatment. Prior to entering your treatment room, they ask you to wait in a beautifully curated and super cute room with a water dispenser and mixed nuts for you to enjoy while you wait. It was a whole vibe with low lighting , modern touches and such comfortable lounge chairs. Donna was the female who served me. She seemed very knowledgeable about how to better care for my skin and was thorough with each step she took. After your treatment, you have the option to take a nice, warm bath in their state of the art, delta showers and help yourself to the products in the bathroom. I can't wait to visit again :)

For me, I expect more if I'm paying a total of $187 for a 60-minute massage. FACILITY: There's a utilitarian wet sauna (e.g., no aromatherapy), dry sauna, and hot & cold pools inside; a small lounge area is outside with what appears to be a jacuzzi. I say "appears" because I just happened to notice the jets. There was no sign identifying it or explaining how to turn it on. The wet sauna was off and there was no sign explaining how to turn that on, either. PERSONAL AMENITIES: You're given a nice robe and one towel. I was only told to bring a bathing suit, so I was expecting disposal spa slippers. Nope. I had to walk everywhere barefooted, including the locker area where people (naturally) had walked in their outside shoes. Ugh. You could pick up a small tube of hand/body lotion, a small shaving kit (disposable razor & tube of generic shaving cream) and/or a small vanity kit (tiny nail file, cotton swabs & cotton pad) at the sinks. There were no snacks or even drinking water available unless you had a massage -- then you were given a bottle of water when it was over. MASSAGE: This is the first time I thought to myself, while getting a massage, "This woman could easily kill me with her bare hands!" Her hands were that strong. She'd asked me if I wanted my massage "hard" or "soft," and I replied, "medium, and we'll see how that goes." Well, it went very painfully at times -- I had to tell her repeatedly to go softer. It's a week later and my shoulders still hurt with certain movements. SERVICE: The receptionist (the only person always onsite; the masseusses and such are called in when needed) was not very gracious when I asked her how to turn on the wet sauna and only reluctantly went back and did it ... so I didn't bother to request her help to use the jacuzzi. Clear communication, in general, was lacking. For one, I was told on the phone that a bathing suit was necessary for the saunas, but once I got there, was told I could choose to just wear a towel. I've read the other reviews, and I see that they offer a kamaaina discount. No one told me that, even though I said at multiple points (on the phone and onsite) that I lived in the neighborhood. BOTTOM LINE: I'll try some other day spa next time I want to pamper myself.

I got to the facility ~30 mins before my appointment. An employee walked me through the facility and provided instructions. I used the hot tub and plunge pool before the scrub. After my session was done with Mina, I had lunch with friends. After that, I used the dry and charcoal rooms. The business was clean and organized. They had lockers for us to store our things in. The posted signs on the wall were a little confusing, but you can always ask the staff if you are unclear. They were friendly.
