When I entered the restaurant I saw several food items photos posted on the wall. They have a lot of food dishes pictures posted on the wall. There was a customer in front of me and I waited to be helped. The lady at the front looked at me and I asked if they offered boba and she told me to look at the menu and pointed to a small white board. The boba menu was confusing to understand. It had pictures taped on top of writing. Only some items had prices listed. There was no description or sizes listed. I decided to try something new and ordered the mango strawberry. The lady was still talking to the customer in front of me and she tells me its $6 dollars. I planned on waiting for the customer in front of me to be done so I didn't pull of my money. All of a sudden the lady tells me $6 dollars in a louder tone. It took me by surprise because she was still with another customer in front of me. I thankful had the $6 dollars in cash and provided her my payment. She left to the back and made my drink. It was a strange interaction and I felt like I was being a bother for not understanding the process. I would not recommend it because of the customer service and feeling rushed.

On a drizzly July day with several cruise ships docked, we waited over 30 minutes during the prime lunch hour to order our food, with the line far outside the door and onto the sidewalk. But the line moves fast and we found seats in the 2nd dining room (there's also outdoor seating weather permitting). The food came quickly, a little over 10 minutes after we ordered. My wife chose the Alaskan Sampler Fish & Chips, with one of each of the 3 fried fish options: Pacific Cod, local Silver Salmon and local Halibut. It also came with a generous portion of fries as well as a side of coleslaw. Of all the fish, the halibut was her favorite. She surprisingly enjoyed the coleslaw, as it was dressed with a house-made vinaigrette and wasn't sweet (like many other places use mayo and relish). There was malt vinegar and ketchup on the tables. My salad had a huge salmon filet covering it, with vinaigrette on the side. It was very filling, and I felt better about myself for choosing a healthier option at port after days of overeating on this cruise. We did order sodas with our meal. There is a self-serve soda fountain with free refills. There is also a small bar inside the dining room where you can order draft beer as well as wine and cocktails.

We arrived right before noon and were met with a long line, waiting about 30 minutes to order. Fortunately, the indoor seating space is quite large, so we easily found a big table for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids after ordering. The Food: I got the halibut rice bowl, which was a bit disappointing--the piece of fish was small compared to the generous mountain of raw cabbage and rice. Also, the teriyaki sauce had a bit of a kick, making it too spicy to share with my toddler. On the flip side, my husband got the sampler (fried cod, salmon, and halibut with fries), and all the fish and fries were crispy and delicious! The Highlight: The salmon chowder was fantastic. It was packed with ingredients, giving every single bite great texture and flavor. Looking around at other tables, I definitely had a bit of ordering regret and wished we had tried their fish tacos instead, which seem to be their signature item. Overall, a great spot for fresh seafood off the ship, but stick to the chowder, fried fish, or tacos!

Unfortunately it's not very good so it's not popular and the fish would be less fresh which means it wouldn't be very good. It's unfortunate because I think it would be nice to have at least one good sushi place. It's supposed to be the salmon capital which would warrant an easy access to fresh salmon or other fish. The place is more of a typical Chinese restaurant that happens to have sushi than an authentic sushi place. The fish they use for sashimi is better than rolls or sushi. They used really old friend shrimp for the rolls. The sushi is expensive for the quality of fish. Sashimi is slightly better but not good enough. Service is almost non-existent but that's ok. This is one of the few places that adds tips for small parties instead of large parties which is weird. They add 15% automatically for party of 4 or smaller. The place is really dark and smells of smoking because I believe the chef and kitchen people smoke. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you really miss Chinese/Japanese food.

We had a group of 8; sat fairly quickly for being a packed house. Menu was decent in choices; prices were super high in my opinion for what you got especially with being so close to the water. But I get it tourists... charge more. The crab was delicious and prepared well. But the other items we got were just meh. The clam chowder wasn't anything special and the fish tacos were strange in flavor combos. They didn't mesh; but the fish was cooked nicely. Our waitress was an adorable Asian girl that was really kind and on her A game handling all the tables. Our table was by a kiosk where the waiters come to put in orders and there was a Caucasian guy that worked there that was griping to his coworkers about cruise customers. Basically said I hate when the ships come in and we get all these customers. He just wasn't kind nor seemed like he wanted to be there. So being able to hear that was just off putting.

He gave great service and great recommendations for the amount of crab legs. We would need for the size of our party. It is pricey, but it's about the same anywhere you go. The food was tasty. The sides were delicious, that you gave us plenty of napkins and butter to go around. I would strongly recommend this place for crab legs. I don't think I would try the salmon or any of the other stuff on their menu, because that is not what they specialize in and you may be disappointed. Next time I am in this town I will definitely come back.
