I called Diaz Hauling to remove all of our kitchen cabinets and countertops for a planned remodel. I asked them to save all of our appliances so that we could re-install the appliances in our new kitchen. Diaz Hauling returned my call quickly, quoted me a very reasonable price, came on the appointed day to do the job, and cleaned up pretty well afterward. They did tell me that they had quite a bit of trouble removing the over-the-range microwave. Later, when we tried to reinstall it, we learned that it was too damaged to re-use ... but on the other hand it wasn't a huge deal because it was a fairly old unit. I didn't mind replacing it with a new one. We also learned later that the vent duct in the ceiling (the connection point to the microwave duct) had also been damaged. I had to hire someone to repair the duct before the new microwave could be installed. When I told Diaz Hauling about the problem they immediately apologized, took full responsibility, and offered to make it right. They paid me back for the expense of the duct repair and threw in a little extra for the inconvenience. I understand that demolition work doesn't always go as planned and that even when workers are trying hard to do everything right mistakes can be made. I appreciated that the company took full responsibility, didn't try to argue with me, and asked me what they could do to make it right. Thank you. read more

Friendly and easy to coordinate with, came when they said they would, and charged what they said they would charge (which was very reasonable). They were able to negotiate a bunch of stairs with a heavy, floppy king mattress, which was great because most mattress removal services require you to get your old mattress to the curb and there was no way we could have done that ourselves. I had 3 fairly big piles of mixed dirt with some rock in it from some landscaping and a fence on my driveway. I reached out to a few folks for dirt removal. Some were slow or did not respond.
