My college student (school is in Beverly) called me saying she had a significant problem with her 10 year old car--the check engine light was flashing, meaning it wasn't safe to drive home (200 miles away) to get it fixed. I found DiBacco's on the internet and called them based on ratings. Someone actually answered the phone at 7 p.m. on a Friday night! I explained the issue and told them I needed to deal with the issue long distance. They allowed my daughter to drop the car off on the weekend after hours around HER hectic schedule, diagnosed the car first thing Monday morning, and she had the car back by 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. They explained the problems to me, gave me an estimate and explained their guarantee, and allowed me to pay for it over the phone . My daughter picked up her car and said they couldn't have been any nicer to her--and she said her car was "running like new". Where do I even begin?! I've been a life long resident of Beverly for over 35 years. As kids we would jump on their air bell hose while walking to Washington Beadle School, gosh I'm sure we drove them nuts. Fast forward to 2020, my 2015 Jeep Patriot ran into some issues. We've been taking our car here for years and I hate to say it, but the quality of service has gone way down. Recently they were doing some work but didn't have a part for some of the work (which they didn't tell me). I get the call to come pick up my car, guy on the phone says we are all set, and when I get there part of the car was still disassembled. It was drive-able, though, so I'm living with a car that looks like someone started to take it apart for parts until that piece actually comes in. Very disappointed that they didn't put things back into a nice condition before calling me, they let me believe it was done, and also they left screws and other parts scattered around the back seat where my kids sit. read more

Great service. I am a USCG licensed ship Captain and licensed engineer. I brought my new Ram 1500 in for its first oil change. Knowing exactly what kind of oil and service it needed I asked if they knew what the truck needed? Within seconds the guy behind the counter told me what it needed and said they could get in right then. 20 minutes later my truck was finished. Oil changed, windshield washer filled and even all tires were filled to the exact tire pressure as I have a screen showing the pressure in my dash. No nonsense, no "you need this, you need that" BS. I took my car here for an Inspection sticker (although it's pretty run down so it needs a lot of work). The guy at the front desk was great. He gave me a run down of everything I need to do but also worked with my budget. I brought it in during their lunch hour but they were super accommodating and got the diagnosis done really quickly. They also offered to give me a ride back to work once I decided to leave it to get the breaks done. When I picked it up the owner personally talked to me about what exactly they had done and gave me a run-through of the whole vehicle, even though it was a Saturday and they were really busy. I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla engine light that would not turn off and even the dealership that I purchased the car from said they couldn't guarantee that they could find the problem. Dibacco's service center had a couple of attempts at it and finally solved the problem. Both the owner and the general manager were cordial and contacted me to see if the new Toyota part they put in was working properly. Unfortunately, the first one didn't and they told me to bring it back in and they got a new part and that did the trick. I recently moved down this area and have been to DiBacco's a few times for a small repair and an oil change. From what I can tell, they've been very honest and have told me upfront when it's not worth It to get the repair so I can cut costs. They gave me an itemized list the first time I came in in order of importance and explained to me why certain things were more urgent and that I could wait on others. I took my daughter's car here with a check engine light. We recently had a problem with our usual repair shop so we were checking around. They diagnosed the car quickly and gave me a list of stuff It needed (all of the items I already knew). The guy at the front desk helped prioritize and we tackled the two biggest issues. Incredible, friendly, and time efficient service! My windshield wipers stopped working on my car and I was unsure if the fuse blew or motor stopped working. Although I didn't have time to stop and get it fixed I knew how dangerous having no wipers could be in the snowy weather. When I went to DiBaccos they were assessing my car within 3 minutes and were finished in under 30! The mechanic explained what had happened and what to do if they stopped working again. It was my first time at going to Dibacco's and honestly one of the best car service places I have ever been to! My car battery of course decided to die during the big rainstorm just last week and I was lucky enough to come upon them. The guy at the front desk was so nice and they squeezed me right in with no appointment even though there were so many cars there already due to the storm! I have a 2010 Chrysler Sebring convertible, which is in excellent shape and ready for summer. I had some problems with the mechanical part of the convertible top. I brought it to a Chrysler dealer. They called me the next day and told me they could not fix it. Too complicated and they could not get the parts anywhere in the country. I googled shops that might be able to repair it. We recently found DiBacco's after moving to the area and are absolutely loving the service! Unlike other shops, DiBacco's is extremely straightforward - Mauro is great to speak with and will clearly explain the details of any repair to us. There isn't a ton of parking, so getting into the lot can be rough if they're busy. Recommend parking on the street or in front of the window. We always do our oil changes here now - they give a full run through with every oil change and fill up all fluids and check our snow tires. read more

I was new to Beverly when my neighbor noticed I had a completely flat tire. Suggested I have it towed to DiBacco's. Best advice ever! Could've really had me over a barrel but charged me $25 to seal a nail hole and it was done and back to me that same afternoon. Have since had my state inspection there - quick and easy - and sent my daughter there for a second opinion and they fixed an issue that she had been told was unrepairable.
