Oh man. I love DiBella's subs, they are everything a sub should be: fresh bread, ingredients and delicious sauces that all blend together for a taste bud attack of delight. Despite my love for the brand, yesterday's visit was a disappointment. At 9pm on a Saturday night, before we went off to see American Hustler at the Transit Rd. Theater's, we stopped in for a sub. The first negative was it seemed like the cashier tried to discourage us from placing our order. "We are out of almost every single bread." OK...well what do you have? She listed off a few flavors, all of which were fine and we placed an order. The employee seemed like she mentally-retired for the night and did not want to be there. Once our food was received (I ordered the Cheesesteak Sub and my fiance got the tuna salad) and we tried to find a table to sit...even though the place was empty (two customers later walked in after us), almost all the tables were dirty and not wiped down. Practically every single one. It was discouraging. We finally found a table and sat down. My sub was good. Bread was toasted and the ingredients came together fine, although from the "meh" service to the dirty tables, I can't say we had an enjoyable time. Went to the Transit and Wehrle location. I ordered a Dagwood, what I soon would find out to be a very fitting name for it...Ham, turkey, corned beef and the usual sub accouterments... When I opened the sub I was extremely disappointed in the lack of ham, turkey, and corned beef. The reason I say the name of the sub is fitting was because my initial thought was "DAG, WOOD you please put more meat on this?!" Seriously, a piece of each is what it looked like to me. All bread, no substance...I paid $10 for a soda, chips, and some bread. It was very anemic and if this is their normal portion size I'd rather go to another local sub shop where I know their portions are much healthier. I always stop here on my way to visit business franchises in this area. This is lunchtime on Sunday and place is practically empty . Service was fast and sandwich is made the way I like it. Swiss cheese with all veggies they have some fresh and some pickled. All dressing mix mayo, spicy mustard and oil and vinegar used sparingly. Try it you will love it. Dibella's puts Subway to shame. Enough said. The Godfather sub is massively excellent. The medium size is a large by any other measure and enough for two. They heat up the sub if you want and build the sub to your specs. The workers at this location were excellent and friendly. The decor is very warm and engaging for "just" a sub place. This is my 'go to' sub shop in town and they never disappoint. Today for lunch I was craving for them and every bite was perfect! The 'everything ' roll is so incredibly delish! It adds so much flavor! Love those toasted onion bits!! I add turkey and spicy ham, provolone, onion,oil, mayo, tomato and lettuce. For 20 years I would generally only order a turkey sub if I was getting a sub somewhere. Since I discovered this perfect sandwich of mine at DiBella's, I'm hooked. This was my first DiBella's experience, and it was good! You order when you first walk in the door, and pay further down at the cashier's station. The service was average. I got a small meatball sub, and had a fair amount leftover. The meatballs are pork and beef. The sandwich had mozzarella cheese, and the right amount of sauce. If you like lots of sauce, ask for extra! My daughter got a kids meals. For $5, she got a decent sized sub, applesauce, two cookies, and juice. We will be back! read more

Wish I could give more stars. DiBella's serves the best subs in our area. Choose your roll, roll size, meats, add-ons, and enjoy. The sub is chock full of fresh, tasty ingredients. The salads are substantial and ingredients are equally as fresh. I find that ordering one for dinner leaves me enough leftover for two light lunches. The salads are similar to the subs but without the tasty roll. Oh, and be sure to get a cookie even if you save it for later. Chocolate chip with walnuts is my favorite. The BEST subs in WNY hands down. The rolls are so fresh and soft. Completely sets the sub up for greatness. Then the meats and cheeses are amazing. Nothing is subpar. You won't get grizzle in your steak subs. The Ingredients are always fresh and crisp. To top that off the staff is extremely courteous & professional. They take great care in cleanliness & are always smiling. We really love their friendliness and they are pretty speedy too!! My daughter has cancer and she can't eat much but we love the curbside service when she gets a DiBella's craving on our way home from treatments. I love that there are 3 sizes of subs to chose from. The sides are really tasty too!! If you get a fountain drink they have super cool pieces of security tape across the lid to keep out germs and keep the drink from spilling. I love subs. I always have and I always will. Di Bella's always hits the spot for fresh, hot and tasty subs. I have been to the Transit Road location a number of times because it is just down the road from my house. Consistency is a hallmark of Di Bella's. Consistently good that is. Subway is also consistent, but in a bad, bland and weirdly spongy bread kind of way. This commitment to consistent quality is likely the reason why Di Bella's has been in business since 1913. I order the same thing when I go - a large Philly cheese steak on multigrain. The toppings are numerous and always fresh. If multigrain doesn't ring your bell, there are plenty of other bread options. For those with a sweet tooth, get the scrumptious cookies they have on display at the cash - I love the double chocolate as a special treat! My only knock on Di Bella's is the quality of the eat-in experience. Each booth has at least one rip or patched rip, the tables are always a bit dirty and they play the music just a little too loud. Hands down the best sub shop in the northtowns. First, their everything sub bread is absolutely delicious and so fresh. I love the variety of toppings and combinations you can get while you watch your sub be made. Also, their prices are very fair for the portions on the sub. The staff, from the person who takes care for the food prep to the kind gentleman who cleans up the dining area, does their job with a smile and are very courteous to guests. This may just be the world's most perfect sub. Everything about it was JUST PERFECT! I had tuna (white albacore!) salad on a sesame sub roll. The small one was barely finish-able, and I'm (unfortunately) a big eater. Lots of flavorful tuna salad (not too much mayo....a definite plus for me) with a choice of cheese (Swiss for me), and piled high with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and roasted red peppers. There are also pickles and black olives, but I didn't get 'em. As it was, I could barely get the sub into my mouth. Everything was delicious and fresh. Turkey, lettuce, provolone cheese with buffalo hot sauce & ranch dressing on a sesame roll! OMG it was soooo good! I call it my Buffalo Turkey :) Everything was so fresh! I've gone to Dibella's for years now and that's because you get a great sub. Usually I can only eat a half a medium because its so full of ingredients. On fathers day this year I ordered a bunch of subs at this location and saw they had a deal for 50% off if you sign up for their "sub club". Great deal I thought. Unfortunately after picking it up and getting to our destination I found out that I only got half the amount of ingredients in the sub., I ate half a large and was still hungry, everyone else felt the same. I don't mind paying for what I get but if you're going to advertise a deal then make it a real deal. If not it's just a scam, and that was what it was. They say if you have a good experience you tell 3-4 people. If you have a bad experience you tell 8-10. You better believe it. read more

My complaint has nothing to do with the food, the food is amazing! My complaint has to do with the manager and staff. I placed an order for delivery and items were missing so I called to see about a refund for them and the manager yelled at me and hung up the phone. I called back and was hung up on twice by staff and all I asked was what is the managers name. I was not rude at all but even if I was this is uncalled for because unfortunately, CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT! This is not the last they will hear from me. I will be talking to a manger tomorrow and I want something done about there poor staff. read more

The Philly Cheese Steak had minimal steak, but they loaded copious amounts of mushrooms, onions, and peppers, all of which were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I love it here. This is my go to place when I want a sub. It's super clean in here always and the staff is always very nice. When it comes to the food, it never disappoints. I pretty much love any kind of sub, but I could probably eat a chicken finger sub every day of the week. This is one of the few places I would get it from because, shockingly enough, not everyone knows how to make a chicken finger sub in this town. I love coming to this place for subs. Usually I go to Marcos or here. No subway, you wanna talk eating fresh and healthy, this place got some options for you. Course there's always not so healthy ones too( the god father , large, 1000+calories ) large subs can basically cover you for 2 meals , priced a little over 11 bucks. Worth it.
