I read the reviews and knew this was the place I wanted our Pathfinder serviced. From the moment I spoke with Jay on the phone till I picked up the Pathfinder. I felt totally comfortable and assured it would be fixed correctly and at a fair price. It was and at a very fair price! Well, Jay delivered. In fact, he went above and beyond the norm lately for most auto repair shops. He checked the tire pressure, the fluids, topping them all off. Plus, with our pathfinder almost twenty years old. He did a full inspection of the undercarriage, suspension, and brakes. No additional charges. When I drove out, I KNEW my car was fixed correctly and safe. They treat you kindly, and with respect, and I can't complain about the big comfy couch in the waiting area. The customer napping in the waiting area told us that she has been a loyal customer for 22 years. That really says something in these days of swindling and crooked auto shops. After a recent tie rod installation, we felt that the Altima needed a front wheel alignment. When they saw that it didn't need one, they only charged us a small diagnostic fee and were honest in telling us that no alignment was needed. Many shops out there would have just done the alignment and charged us, or worse, exploited the already optimal alignment and act as if they aligned it since we requested one be done. We decided to put the diagnostic fee towards replacing the old and worn drive belt anyway, which also was a fair price. There may be some shops that are cheaper than Master Auto, but the cool thing about this place is that the folks really know what they're doing and they're honest people. They won't recommend you to do anything the car doesn't need. I would rather pay a middle of the road rate with a high caliber and honest shop, rather than be woo'ed by cheap shops that will falsify a laundry list of issues and scam you of hard earned money! We will definitely be returning to Master Auto for our vehicular needs! This is a great dealership replacement shop.

It was close to where he lives and the reviews were good, although there were only two reviews at the time. Even though I didn't deal directly with them, I'm still able to write a review based on what transpired due to the fact that with our advice and guidance through a difficult repair, he was in close touch with us through the early processes of dropping it off for a quote. This was also the second facility he took his car to for an estimate so we knew what to expect from the first quote process and had the ballpark figure in mind as to how much it could/would be. After explaining one of the problems, they advised him there would be a charge to drive it around so they could make a better diagnosis. The first place he took it to didn't drive it around. They put it up on the hoist and could see what the problem was. The other issue was an electrical one and they told him there'd be a fee to check it out because of the time process involved in trouble shooting electrical problems. They didn't mention to him whether the fees would be subtracted from his total bill, nor did he ask. That's up to the repair facility to clearly inform the customer one way or the other whether the fee is subtracted at the end if the customer chooses to get the repair done at their facility. Needless to say, since they weren't clear on whether these were subtracted, we decided to have him try a third facility for another quote. The third facility is where the repair will be done because the fee for troubleshooting was explained clearly that if the car was repaired there, the fee would be deducted from the final bill. It was made clear and was understood without any further questions. The cost came in much lower than the first place he took it to, so this is how it was decided to go with that facility instead. I'm only rating this based on the process of wanting to have the car looked at and what the outcome of that first interaction was. Maybe other places charge fees to drive a car around, but we've had plenty of cars repaired in the past and were never told of this type of fee nor were we charged for that. So it caught me by surprise when my son called us with this information. Based on the two other excellent reviews from actual repairs and for clarification purposes, it sounds like they're a trusted place and have good prices and satisfied customers that would recommend them to others, but we didn't like what we heard in the beginning and decided to try another automotive repair facility. But that's why we have choices and that's why places offer quotes so the consumer can make an educated decision based on what they are told and can decide if the repair facility is a good fit and is a place they want their car fixed at.
