However, on Fridays they do prepare fried food. We lucked out, and got there around 12:30. Limited selection? Yes, but it's all stuff we love. So the hubby and I were happy to pick the clam strips and scallops. Oh, they didn't have the bay scallops, but had ocean scallops. Was that okay? Okay? We love ocean more than bay. So we lucked out again. Quick drive to the water, and enjoyed our lunch. Have to tell you these were SO delicious. Scallops melted on my tongue. Clams were so flavorful. The tartar was so good too! Didn't have room to finish the fries, but they were good too. So we're going to have to take a small walk on the beach to work it off. It's a nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor patio seating overlooking the marina. We got there when they first opened at 5pm. (NOTE: They are closed between 3pm - 5pm.) The food was good. I ordered the Scallop Tostadas for $26. FOUR sea scallops. They were tender and juicy. Two companions ordered the Build a Burger $19 each and one companion ordered the Classic Chicken Sandwich for $18. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The menu has something for everyone. What I really love is their mission: local fishermen who practice sustainability so our waters continue to yield such a beautiful bounty. So, there you have it: fresh-caught, local seafood that is incredibly delicious and mindfully procured. You can order from them online, find them at farmers' markets or you can create a special agreement with them akin to a CSA (they call it a CFA). This is what I plan to do once the farmers' markets shut down for the season so I can get the goods all year 'round.
