Some of the worst BBQ I've ever had. I ordered pork ribs and received beef. There is no way these ribs were cooked within the past 24 hours: they tasted old, like they've been sitting around for a long time. The sauces (conveniently packaged in Little plastic cups) just tasted like any average jarred sauce from the grocery store and couldn't help these ribs. Loaded mashed potatoes were a thick glob of fake potatoes that were a gluey, sticky, tasteless mess. I took one bite and threw the rest away. The only thing I was able to eat was the coleslaw. What's worse is the check-out process forces a minimum tip. There is no sense of pride in this food. I cannot recommend and I'm sad that I spent $16 on such a waste of food. read more

We had Dickey's about a month ago at a different location and the brisket was some of the meat we have ever had. We live close to this one so we decided to get it again, but to our disappointment it was some of the worst meat we have ever had... The brisket was no way in any means true brisket. FOOD: I was very surprised on the how the food looked and taste. Todays to go dinner from Dickeys in Brighton was horrible. I spent $95 + $25 tip. Did we get the left over food, from the weekend? The meat was old or microwaved, very dry. Ribs(very unappealing) Sausage(horrible) Brisket, asked for slice, it was like a stringy roast beef and half of it was chopped. They close an hour 1/2 early than their posted time on many occasions and the staff always seems bothered by any person being there. I came very early, around 11 AM, and it was empty. I was probably the first customer of the day. I'm vegetarian, so I ordered the baked potato and a Cesar salad. Honestly, my baked potato was cold, and the butter wasn't melting how is supposed to. The cheese wasn't melting either. Anyways, at the end of the day it's just a baked potato and I was so hungry so I ate it. The Caesar salad was in a cup, and it was kind of hard to mix it. I can't speak for the other options, but I like the place. The ambience and the decoration is cute. I'm sure their sandwiches and their BBQ stuff taste good. I think you should try it out read more

The service was very bad. The guys working the front end were not friendly. The guy touched his long hair then touched his phone then started making my plate. The floor was sticky and slippery and the high chairs were filthy. The sweet tea we had tasted like rotten tea bags. We asked the workers if they could make some more tea and they said no. The soda machine had mold and they were out of bbq sauce. We asked if they had any in the back that they could bring out and the guys said we have them we just can't bring them out right now. We were the only people in the place. Overall the experience was really bad! And the soda machine had mold on it. read more

This is what happens when you are too cheap to effectively staff your restaurant. I walk in and there's only one employee running the whole restaurant. He was very ovewhelmed, running everything by himself. I felt bad for him. After I ordered, three more employees came in to help him thankfully, but here's what went wrong: I ordered my food at 12:10pm with only one person ahead of me. I noticed that every person after me got their food before mine. At 12:50, I went up and asked what's going on. Supposedly they forgot my order existed. They told me to "wait a second" and I said "No, I ordered first and you've given 10 people their orders that got here after me, where's mine?" I do admit that they were very apologetic for their mistake, but I was late to the Broncos game because of this. If Dickey's would staff their restaurant correctly, stuff like this wouldn't happen. read more

Beware catering I ordered delivery catering for my daughter's graduation party. When I'm paying $800, I expect everything to be pretty perfect. When the catering was 15 minutes late, I started trying to call the store. Nothing but a busy signal for over 15 minutes. Then I remembered I had the manager's cell number from an earlier interaction, so I called him. Luckily, he answered and explained the delivery driver got a flat, so the manager was going to personally pick up the food from him and would be there in 15 minutes. Well, it was an hour later, and only after calling the manager again, that the food showed up. It was 1.5 hours late, and some of our guests had to leave before they could eat. No apology or offer of discount. I understand things happen, but it's unacceptable that it was impossible to get a hold of the store, and they never attempted to update me. No communication except when I happened to have the manager's number. I would have driven to the driver and picked up the order myself if I'd known it would take an hour. The food itself, when it finally arrived, was ok. Sausages were a little dry, and the proportion of meat to sides was very low. I have gallons of sides left over but no meat. This place has gone so far downhill. I don't think it'll ever recover. I went there last night, and the only barbecue sauce they had was in tiny little plastic containers. No biggie, right, until you opened them up, and they were ALL watered down! Gross. Not plastic wear only plastic packets with a napkin and fork. No sweet tea either. I told one of the employees, and he was like, "Yeah, looks like it's out" seriously? What happened to the ice cream machine? The other Dickies have them. Went in on a Tuesday evening for dinner. Nobody in line in front of our group of 5. Food prep was quick & we got our cups, paid, & sat down. There was only 2 other tables being occupied at this time. We made our way to the soda fountain, only to discover they are out of soda & ice. We tell the girl @ the register & she stated that they were aware of this & didn't have anymore soda in the store(they did have orange Fanta). Why didn't they tell us that when we all ordered our drinks? Not sure what the story was on the ice, but they filled it about 45 minutes later as we were leaving. The meat was underwhelming. It looked good but was bland & dry. Mac n cheese was good. Beans tasted like pork and beans from a can. I mixed in a little bit of bbq sauce to enhance the flavor. I've had Dickey's in Utah & Texas but this one was on a different, lower level. And do they not do the ice cream anymore? Major bummer. One star for food, 2nd star for cleanliness of the restaurant. We were excited to finally have some bbq in Brighton, but for decent bbq, we'll just make our 20 minute drive out of Brighton to Famous Dave's. read more

Always great food. I was disappointed with the service my family and I received on 3/6/2020 in the evening my family and I were the only ones there at first. My food was cold when I finally paid, we waited in line for a long time. Seen this poor gal she must have been there 30 minutes waiting for a big order can't even imagine how cold her food was when she finally received her order. I'm not one to complain much but I was bothered by the lack of visible training. I thought it was just ok but my husband really liked it. His sounds dumb but thy should change their lighting. When you first walk in you can't read the menu ahead of time since the signs are shined and there is a glare across it. I think I creeped the lady out in front f me with squatting, moving around and getting about close to be able to see parts of the menu from a different angle. Haha. The ordering line seemed confused and unorganized. I wasn't sure if I give the pit master meat guy my entire order.. or if I ask for sides down the line. And then when we went down the line, it was the cashier there so I asked her for my sides and she referred me backwards and said that there is someone else that will take my sides. That young lady came back but was struggling to put together orders while the cashier just stood there, watching her. :/ I felt bad for the one hustling hard. She said she's normally cashier for obvious reasons but I'm not sure if she was trying to knock on her co worker to us or what that really meant. We weren't rude or anything. We waited politely and wished everyone a happy holiday. :) As far as my meal- The Mac and cheese has a LOT of fake cheese sauce that I didn't care for r but I know a lot of people love that kind of thing. In general it was good but I just didn't eat a lot of it and I probably would never get a big bowl of it. I think it needs less sauce or more noodles haha. The coleslaw was pretty good and tasted fresh. :) My pork pulled sandwich had a few juicy parts but a lot of hard chunks of meat which is what I wasn't a fan of. I ended up pulling all of those pieces out. I can say that besides those things good wise- that at least they give a hearty serving of pork in there. Stopped in here for lunch, After staring at the really confusing menu. I got the daily special which was a pork sandwich a side and a drink to go for $7.81. Which I think is pretty reasonable. The pork was really juicy and tender. I also liked the coleslaw that was on the sandwich. Next time I will try a different side. I asked for the bbq beans then i seen what they looked like and changed my order to the green beans but they just didn't do it for me. Loved the fact that they had the sonic ice for the drinks. I didn't like the fact that the restraunt doesn't really flow. When I went in it was empty but if they got super busy you'd have to dance around everyone getting a drink and bbq sauce because there is only one station. I tried all 3 bbq sauces they were all really good. I'll be in again to try a different daily special. read more

I went to the Brighton location this past sunday. I went in to get chicken, brisket, ribs and two sides. The pit master on duty is the one who rung up my order. As he was ringing it up he td me he was going to change my order to the family pack. He told me i was getting the same thing i ordered with a few extras and it would be cheaper. When i got my bags of food i didnt look because my wife and i had company coming and i wanted to get home before they showed up. When i got home and unpacked the bags, not only did i notice i didnt get the extras he td me about bit they also replaced the chicken i originally ordered with the sausage. I got pretty much the same amounts as my original order so i am not sure they gave me this great deal they claim to have given me. I actually think they over charged me and td me it was a good deal. But that wasnt my biggest complaint. After i made my order, i assume the store manager happend ti walk in the restaurant. Now i am not the type to put the spotlight on a lot of things. I feel, specially in the times we are living in that people should be allowed to do what they feel. But when we have an issue such as covid, you work around food and you deal with the public, regardless of what your beliefs are you should follow posted rules and regulations. I notice the store manager walk in with his mask completely below his chin and walk behind the counter. He spoke to the employees, which everyone else was wearing their masks properly and came back out to the lobby area looking around as if he was checkin on store issues. When he saw i was looking at him he pulled his mask up the correct way and went behind the counter again. He didnt go near the food prep area but went straight back to the office area. When my order was ready and as i am walking up to pay, i saw him come out from the office eating something and again his mask was below his chin. He got a cup got something to drink from the fountain and continued to walk around without his mask on properly. Again i feel people should be able to do what they feel when on their own time. As an employee of an establishment that serves food, deals with the public and has signs posted in a number of places that masks are required inside the store, he should have had his mask on before he entered the store. I for one will not be returning to this location and i will encourage my neighbors and all who will listen to not go to this location either. I gave this store two stars based on the friendly appearance of the staff, the fact the employees besides the manager had their masks and the food was actually taste pretty good. I am going to give the employees benefit of the doubt that they actually wanted to give me the best deal and they did not purposefully cheat me. read more
