We tried Brother's BBQ for dinner, and overall the food was pretty good! I ordered the burnt ends with two sides, and they had great flavor. The burnt ends came sauced already, and I added some extra sauce on the side (there was a small charge for that). The sides came in little containers--my mac and cheese was tasty but definitely on the smaller side. I also got a side of pickles and toppings, which added a nice touch. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious with plenty of seating, and the service was smooth. Since I ordered online, my food was ready as soon as I arrived, which made pickup quick and easy. Next time, I'd like to dine in and see how the portion sizes compare, but based on flavor and service, I'd definitely give Brother's BBQ another visit! read more

Really bummed about the "burnt ends". I've tried this twice now, hoping the first time was just off. These taste like stew meat in a crock pot and dried out in a quick smoke. I am not convinced it's actually brisket.. Maybe chuck roast? Tastes like beef but not fatty or moist enough to be brisket. Others say they had sauce on theirs, mine didn't and adding sauce didn't help. Basically inedible, I was craving brisket and didn't finish more than half. read more

It was the worst food I have ever tasted. My pork sandwich was disintegrating in my mouth and it was dry. The service sucked when I tried to get a to go box they ignored me and walked past me multiple times while all I wanted was a box and the bathroom was terrible. I don't get BBQ very often, and can be pretty picky, but Brothers left a good first (and second) impression on me. I got takeout and started with a half BBQ chicken (white meat) with side of BBQ beans and coleslaw, with some banana pudding for dessert. I also ordered the brisket and pulled pork a second time around. The chicken - lots of sauce but not too much, tender meat, good portion The beans - plenty of BBQ flavor, meaty and not too runny (which I find too often) The coleslaw - not too sweet and good texture, again not too liquidy The brisket - pretty lean and not too fatty but came un-marinated so a little dry The pulled pork - mostly tender with some crispy bits but again lacked marinade so a tad on the dry side Banana pudding - good portion and not too sweet, mostly yummy but could use more fresh bananas Some room for improvements, but overall some tasty and above average quality BBQ. Brothers BBQ is always fine. I love super close so when someone gets the craving for bbq we tend to think about this place first. The price is right (it's on the cheaper side) so that is also a factor when I decide to go. Notice I didn't say taste. The taste is fine. When you order ribs they taste like ribs, when you order brisket it tastes like brisket. They just are the exact average taste to where you aren't upset but this BBQ isn't going to blow your mind. The sauces aren't anything to write home about either but I like the original and the Carolina mustard sauce alright. I have had worse barbecue sauces, that is for sure. I do like that you can order just one rib here. The "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" reference is also appreciated. Sides are pretty bland no matter what you get. When I order the take out lately it seems like my food was barely warmed up. I actually don't know if I have ever had HOT food from Brothers. If you just need BBQ without any questions asked, go here. If you want mind blowing BBQ, go elsewhere...even down 120th in Broomfield. read more

Wow! What great customer service. I messed up, ordered and gave the wrong pickup time. I called to change and was told " No Problem". I picked up my party pack, got home and was missing the sauces. I called backed back, was given a huge apology. I said, sorry I can't come back guests will be showing up soon. I was told "No Problem". Within minutes the doorbell rang delivering my missing sauces. Recently visited Broomfield and just had to stop by and try their bbq tofu sandwich and impossible burger. The tofu was cubed, cooked well, and doused in a even coating of bbq sauce. The sandwich doesn't come with toppings however you can request onions (fresh or fried), pickles or jalapeños. The impossible burger was cooked well and was garnished with tomatoes, lettuce and onions. I had the food with a side of fries and was really impressed by the variety of bbq sauces available at the restaurant tables as well as the cheat sheet provided so the dinner can decide for themselves which sauce is their favorite. The employee let us know that the fries were cooked in a separate fryer as well as the tofu cubes. The food was delicious as well as filling and I'll definitely visit there again for a reminder of my southern upbringing. read more

I heard that they had vegan options, including the Impossible Burger, so checking them out was a must. A friend and I dined in for an early dinner on a weekend and it was pretty empty, so we were skeptical. We ordered at the counter then took a seat. IMPOSSIBLE BURGER - Delicious and well seasoned. I brought my own bottle of Just Mayo, which really set it off. They told me that they had vegan BBQ beans that day so of course I had to try them. They were tasty! Most places charge $12-$15 for the Impossible Burger, so I had no complaints with the $10 price tag. (Please don't up the price!) BBQ TOFU - I tried the 1/4 lb. for only around $6. The tofu was cooked to perfection! No spongey tofu here. They were firm, seasoned, and brushed with a delicious BBQ sauce. The fries could use more seasoning, but that's just a personal preference. My carnivore friend was also in love with their food so I would recommend this place to veg*ns and omnivores alike. The restaurant is large and they have a private parking lot. I felt like the prices were reasonable and the portions were just right. I will certainly return on my next visit to the area. read more

Five stars for this amazing vegetarian friendly BBQ place! Thank you to any restaurant serving tofu and Impossible Burgers. The staff was friendly and very helpful! They made me feel great for my first time. The place has a fun decorating scheme and feels relaxed. It was very clean. I got the tofu sandwich with slaw and fries, it was all amazing. The tofu is fried and slathered in tasty sauce. Then, they load you up with a half dozen(!) other sauces as well to use! I loved the tangy slaw and pickles, they balance the bbq well. I'm giving this place 4 stars because I really only liked 2 of the 7 things that I tried, but man were those 2 things darn good! I really enjoyed the brisket and cornbread! The cornbread was sweet like cake and it was so so good! They've got 5 different sauces and a sauce guide to all their flavors- a good way to get exactly the sauce that you want! My personal favorite was the purple sauce! I really wasn't fond of the pulled pork, French fries, ranch, or coleslaw. All the other things I tried were mediocre. And the service wasn't spectacular either- they did have a lot of to go orders they were putting together, but I still had to wait at the counter for almost 5 mins before someone came to help me. I'd definitely go again and get their brisket or cornbread but I'm unsure if I'd ever be risky enough to try anything else. On Friday evening of December 4th 2009, after running around for some errands in this part of the neighborhood, "starving" and cant decide where to go, Hubs drive up to this Brothers BBQ location. I thought it would be just like the Leetsdale location... but when I enter inside, boy am I wrong, they have a BIGGER place to dine in. That's a thumbs up in my books. This time around, I decide to order the BEEF RIBS that I have been craving for, since my last trip at the Leetsdale location. I cant recall what Hubs order was but if I am not mistaken this was it : * Fries * Beef Briskets * Chicken * Potato Salad As for me I opt for the 1/2 Slab Special with 5 Beef Ribs. My order comes with buns, 2 Sides which I choose Mashed Potato with Gravy and Chips. But if I am not mistaken, they give me extra ribs, I guess they calculate by the pound?? I like the Beef Ribs and the Mashed Potatoes, but so wish the Mashed Potatoes with gravy could be in a bigger portion. As for the Beef Ribs, its the BIGGEST Beef Ribs I ever eaten in my entire life. I bet its a BIG HUGE FREAKING COW, they may have slaughter and the Beef Ribs I have for that evening. Since its all messy what not, I decide to pack up the leftovers Beef Ribs, home.. Unfortunately, for this time around, Hubs is not happy with his order, coz the Beef Biskets, and the Chicken were cold once it was served to us. The fries were hot from the fryer though. The baked beans are too spicy! They used to be just right but now too hot for beans. Everything else is yummy.

So I have ordered the family pack 3 times for delivery and everytime the order is screwed up. 2 of the 3 times they forget the buns and 3 out of 3 times they give you one smaller tub if bbq sauce for a meal that feeds 4. The fries arrive rubbery as well. You know when you goto Taco Bell and they give you like 10 hot sauces for every one taco...well this place is the opposite. I now have the meat for the taco...no taco shell and no extra sauce.. I drop $90 after taxes and delivery and get an A frame kick everytime. You literally have one job to do..put the order together...and that seems like splitting the atom If their beef ribs werent spectacular it would have received no stars. read more

I've been a frequent customer of this location as well as the one in Denver near 6th. I have to drive across town to come to the Broomfield location and I probably will not bother to do this anymore after the service I had today. I was starving and taking a very late lunch break before running back to work. At 2:45 I walked in, and told the two cashiers (in an empty restaurant) that I wanted some ribs. They said there was a "special" starting at 3:00 but it's too bad, they can't give me the discount. Now it is 2:48 and I thought they were kidding. No customers, nothing to do, a happy hour starting in 10 minutes, but they said I should "wait and come back later." I left, and I don't think I will come back. I will not bother driving across town for a business this clueless when it comes to customer service. Good Spot for Grub! We had a hankering for some BBQ and went on yelp to see what we could find. We've been to many a place nearby but decided to venture to another city to see what goodies they had in store for us. I wasn't too thrilled about the review but thought we should give it a try anyway. The place is super casual with a fairly unique set up. They have a bar area and dining room area which is nice but could have been set up a little differently. I guess they had to work with what they got ;) You order up front and they bring your food out. Easy & casual.. I love it! The lighting was a little dim which doesn't really compliment the whole eco-chic vibe of the metals décor. I think they need to brighten things up to make their guest experience more appealing. Nonetheless, the food was pretty good. Everything was hot and meat was moist. I have no complaints since I've never been to Texas or wherever else BBQ is their thang. Grab a sauce caddy and go to town! The pricing was reasonable. They also have packages or family packs that set you up with a lot of different meaty and side-y selections. I've lived in Colorado most of my entire life and I can say Brothers BBQ is the best BBQ in Colorado. I get pork ribs, hot links, potato salad, and baked beans. Everything is amazing. The potato salad reminds me of my great aunt who always makes the best potato salad for family BBQ's. They're hot bbq sauce is my favorite and I'll usually purchase 2 bottles a month for when I BBQ at home. If you're looking for quality bbq food you've found the right place. I do wish cornbread came with the meals instead of buns, or if there were an option to upgrade to cornbread for a dollar or something. read more

The bbq is kinda hit and miss. On my first visit, the cue was really good. Good flavor, tender, smoky. On the second visit, the cue was dry, and kinda stale. Did they give me yesterday's batch? Brother's is my place to go for Beef Backs. They are wonderful. I appreciate all their other BBQ but hands down their beef backs are the best around. Service has always been a factor of my ratings and Brothers goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. The last time I visited (for the beef backs) for lunch they had had an "incident" with their smoker and did not have their beef backs available. I have to say I was a bit bummed and the guy at the desk obvioulsy noticed and gave me a ticket for a free meal. This is the type of service that wins customers!
